It is most frustrating for me to continuously hear about "US MEN" and our inability to tell the truth, be honest and honerable. Granted there are some on here who deserve this, but then, there are those of us who are very honest and become a "typical shallow man" for having done so. I have had the misfortune of meeting several ladies from this site, who not only lied to me, but did so in a most blatant fashion. I am frustrated also with you women asking where are the "REAL MEN" on here? Do any exist? We are here, and just as frustrated as you are. One lady even wrote about my rudeness for commenting on her deceit about her age, however she has since taken her profile off. This site is obviously no better than any others, because the people are no better, some of them anyway.

It doesnt pay to lie. Eventually, you get found out. Honesty is the best policy. Don't try to be someone you arent, just be yourself. This isn't highschool anymore!
It's not just the men who lie, the women lie too! This goes, not just for health concerns, but anything on your profile, age, body size/shape, height, weight, fake pictures. Grow up people!

So does it ever leave you feeling empty or frustrated when you get to the point of having figuring out your "mystery man's lies" ???

My philosophy is that if it is gonna last long term, they should have the opportunity to get to know the real you asap... :o)

My profile contains lies.....little funny fabrications. Not exactly LIES! It's all in fun......the question is, WHICH ones are the lies??? ;-) That's the mystery for men to figure out!

well i lied once. i read a profile of a guy my age and commented to him. well after reading mine he said why are you conta-cting me? i specifically said my age range and you are not in it. i said oh yea? i went to my profile and lowered my age by 5 years and asked him if was still gonna be a jerk. hes so stupid after that he kept conta-cting me and forgetting it was me. i told him he was too old for me. that is the only time i ever lied but he made me do it. so everytime i would talk to someone new i had to tell them my real age and why i did it. they all agreed the guy was a jerk.

lieing and leading a person on can be added, men and ladies do it and i HATE IT, if you want sex, say it, you want love and a relationship, say it and mean it, don't rant on about "what we will do together" unless you plan on doing it,i don't want just sex, so don't em me if YOU DO, can i get a amen to that anyone...

Lying about age, weight, or anything for that matter just prolongs the process of finding that someone "special". What makes a person special in my opinion is when they adore you for you...the real you.

Being honest about who you are in every aspect weeds out those wanting something else. Just a waste of time to lie and hope someone likes what's under the mask.

Thank you for your kind words. I am leaving because my lifes path has taken me in a wonderful direction and I am not wanting any distractions at this point.
Seems a bit strange, not caring if I have a lady in my life or not, but my focus is all about me, myself and I, and it would not be fair to try to include someone at this time. I wish you the best of all, that life has to offer and namaste.

Coolade- sorry for your disappointing encounters..I have had better luck..and met at least one very nice chap who was honest and we are still v. good friends since we share much in common. I think it is instinct and luck whether you meet someone you could trust as friends if nothing else..well,better luck with your future encounters then.

Bonnie, I started this thread after flying to Vancouver, twice, to meet two ladies who had lied (significantly so)to me, and I was getting my frustrations out as well as making an appeal to those who are less than honest. I am off of here in a a few days, and thankfully so. Good luck boys and girls, and warm hugs to those who were special, you know who you are.
