Thought I'd throw this one out for you guys to chew on:
Recently I've had the pleasure of being in contact with a successful ex-adult film star. She's witty, intelligent, has a wry sense of humor....oh...and she's stunning looking (go figure, hmmm?).
Now before anyone takes me out of their favorites folder, I have an extremely wide circle of aquaintences...she's just one of many people I have the fortunate opportunity to draw experience and knowledge from. And if I ever need a pass to the AVI Awards in Vegas, I'm in!
But it got me thinking - what would my friends think if I showed up for dinner one night with an ex-porn star?
What would YOU think if your friend showed up with a ex-porn star?
Woud you date one?
STD's aside (adult entertainers get tested more than anyone on the planet)....would their past job stop you from dating them?
So why would a gentleman introduce a companion as a porn star? Whatcha up to anyway?
I suppose that eventually it might come out, but the mystery it would evoke would be a a more interesting scenario.
Most social engagements are a bit pedestrian and you might find that your companion may not want the details known and would rather just take a higher level "she's in the film industry" and leave it at that.

Welcome to the forums btw! You do realize that you brought a thread back from the dead, that had been sleeping for 14 months...
Interesting thread though. I would have to say that if the woman was bright, happy, intelligent, and well balanced emotionally, I would have no real issues dating her. I don't particularly care for the hyperinflation of body parts that many have done to enhance their appeal. However, from the "experimentation" in my youth, I sadly found that most women that are involved in such careers are not emotionally well balanced. Many come from abusive pasts and suffer from problems of addiction, whether it be sexual, alcohol, or drugs. With people who pursue such careers, it would be insanity to set aside the possibility of STDs. One would be somewhat foolish to stereotype though...
