    Ruthsheart write:
    Lord, make us instruments of your peace.
    Where there is hatred, let us sow love;
    Where there is injury, pardon;
    Where there is discord, union;
    Where there is doubt, faith;
    Where there is despair, hope;
    Where there is darkness, light;
    Where there is sadness, joy;
    Divine Master, Grant that we may not so much seek
    To be consoled as to console,
    To be understood as to understand,
    To be loved as to love.
    For it is in giving that we receive;
    It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
    And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
    In Jesus Name, Amen

    I find that in receiving, I receive. For example, I got this check I recieved from a client and I cashed it and got the cash. In receiving, I recieved.

    And in giving, I gave and did not recieve, because I when and spent the money and for sure, I gave and they recieved. Sure I got what I paid for, so I guess in giving I received something. But it was not what I gave. I recieved something else.

    Same goes for love and all the rest. So any attempt to redefine our words to mean the opposite doesn't fly as anything more than a clever play on words. Else, I might say, in cheating them, they are not cheated, and in stealing from them, they have not been stolen from.

    Or, in desagreement with what you posted, there is agreement.

    AGFH, the only thing I fear is getting a migraine from reading just one more of Spoil's posts.

    AGFH, I believe the way you do. There are different 'religions' just like there are different nationalities. Those are all just the 'casings' for what's really underneath. I've had experiences since I was a child, especially ones in adulthood, that proved to me personally our spirit never dies.

    Thanks for you comments S4 originally came to discuss alternative thoughts in spirituality. But someone has to keep adding his 2 cents, and telling us we are not worthy to speak to him......so why did he come to a thread that would annoy him so much?
    Anyways, obviously we can't have a discussion here, so we can write each other an discuss, without interferrence.
    Spoils is spoils, and the name suits. Can't let anyone else have some fun!
