Do you make your decisions on fear or love? The qestion of your life. Have you been taught to live in fear? Think about it? More is probably holding you back than moving you forward. How is living your life out in love diffrent than what we are taught living in fear? Where oh where can we go if we live a life of love? Dream.....
Belief-Action-Results.... If it wern't for faith no one would be here. FAITH IS EVERYTHING! Sit on the chair you have faith it won't break, turn on the water you have faith it will be there. Still not convinced of faith, its all around you, even your money. Yup! So you can have faith in love or fear. You'll have much better results with Love, Start Living A Life OF Love, not fear. God is LOVE. If you dont have Love, Fear will bring you terror to your life!! God is LOVE. God Bless America may we live in LOVE!!

i used to be a very religous person, i used to belive in god.
recently there has been a string of deaths of friends and family memebers all very hard to cope with because they were all so YOUNG, they were all followers of the lord too! what happend to god when they needed him the most? where was he in their time of need? and dont say it was their time to go, because its never time to go when your 22, 25 or 13!!!!! i feel right now as ive been deserted by my own lord. has anyone else felt like this?

bfg yes most folks have been where you are but the thing is, that god did not leave you.... you left god. He is waiting for you.

Dave23: about a bit different perspective on the topic:
Love and fear are both antagonist emotions It is not the point which one to chose. To be happy you should have balance between the two.
Funny enough, fear can make you love less ( even make you forget that there is such thing as loving if soemone wants to kill you all the time) and loving can wipe away your fear ( think about defending something you love, fear just Poof, dissapears)
So, ballance... sometimes when i am scared I just think of making love. Most of the tme it works and you can cope with fear much better.
BTW, do you know that sound with frequence 5-6 Hz causes horror?

My heart goes out to you... I also have lost loved ones in the past.
I never felt deserted by god because I have never believed (nor dis-believed). I take my strength from within... when people try to say I must "have faith" I tell them that I do...I have faith in myself... I will never lose that.

Now I'm confused. It thought Love was a feeling and God was the one that created everything and runs the show.

So if God is Love, then Love is God, and when they say God Loves me, then Love loves me and God God's me? That does not make any sense at all.

Love or Fear? Think mine has been distrust lately...hey...Was married 13 years and I walked in on the man I loved, who I believed was my soul mate...who said they would never cheat on me, who said he loved me and take care of me, walked in on him having sex with his co-worker in my living room...

I am a very caring person...and most would call me fearless...but I think it is more of a trust issue...

I don't think I could have made it through a divorce and removal of a benign brain tumor (which I praise God every day for guiding that neurosurgeon's hand)...feel sorry for those who don't have Faith in anything besides the material...and what they can only 'see' (I don't see the wind, only its path, I don't see God, only His hand guiding my path in my life)

I'm sry spiolurotten, I usualy agree with you, I agree with you on your input in the spiritualism column, but on this one I believe dave is not talking about the scripture that says the fear of the lord is the beginning of wisdom. but dave is talking about everyday fears people have like being scared of heights or scared to go through a bad neighborhood etc, stuff like that which is all faith based.where also here to mattew 22:37-39 which brings us back to daves question on love or fear! may the lord bless you brother!

your absolutely right dave, for the lord did not give us a spirit of fear, but of love for he is love and to understand the law of love and to live in his love not our love is awsome! our love is selfish , it says if you don"t love me I won"t love you or I'm only going to love you like you love me, but the lords love is AGAPE LOVE which say, I will love you no matter what, if you hate me I still love you, in other words our love is conditional but the lords love AGAPE LOVE is unconditional!

Good stuff, but you went from faith to love and left out an important step in between.
Without faith there is no hope.
Without hope, there is nothing.
With hope, all things are possible.
Again, good stuff.

Yes Dave, the church I did go to as a young person taught the same thing......God is loving and forgiving as we are only human. There was only one human that was perfect and he died on a cross. The rest of us fall down, make mistakes, and get back up and try again.
When my faith left me, my dad said wait until you are in pain again, there will be only one Being you will ask for help.......he was right.
Faith is the answer.
Not fear.

Remember this passage, "The whole duty of man is to fear God and keep his commandments"
