I have met my creator, she's my mother and has a name! Your mother is the person you should be worshipping! Without her, you would be non-existent! Go on, get off the computer, call her up and take her out to do something special! Spend your time worshipping someone worthwhile who can actually make your life happier! When she's gone forever, you will regret that you didn't!

Women are the true Gods of the world, we are the creators and carriers of life. In ancient times, women were worshipped for this fact. In fact, your precious bible even states this at the beginning. Although it's contradictory later on when it also states that women should be subservient to men, only speak when spoken to and only in a very quiet voice! The same book says it's a sin for men to wear their hair long....didn't Jesus have long hair?? I digress.....
Can't get me started on religion, I just thinks it's so hypocritical and contradictory.

Have a good night everyone!!

The way heaven & hell are presented in the Bible can't logically exist.
From my understanding of it, heaven is supposed to be paradise, perfect & joyous. But how could someone be happy in heaven if they knew someone they loved was suffering in hell?
The Christian God is supposed to be a god of truth, so that would be hypocritical if your memories of your life on earth were erased so that you did not remember them, & therefore could find happiness in heaven.
As well, the Christian God is supposed to be a god of love & forgiveness, yet countless people are supposedly punished for eternity in hell for their sins if they do not repent or worship the "right" god. True forgiveness is not conditional, same as true love is not conditional. I am no where near being perfect (or perfectly good), yet in good conscience I could never sentence even the worst of human beings to suffer for eternity in hell. If God is all-powerful, then he has the power to stop this. Suffering on earth is different than suffering in hell for eternity. In this life, suffering does not last forever, at least if someone doesn't choose for it to, & it is in some ways vitally important for our maturation & realization as sentient beings. But suffering in hell for eternity is no more than a form of revenge or punishment, with no chance of positive resolution in the least bit. So if I, a mere 20 year old young woman can see this, then why can't a God that is supposedly a god of love & forgiveness?
The way I see it, either this viewpoint of the afterlife is dead wrong, or at least skewed a bit, or there is no such thing as an afterlife??

I don't believe in all of this God hogwash heaven and hell stuff. But, of course there was a man in history named Jesus because, "Jesus" is a Hispanic name pronounce as "Heysus". Other than that, that's where I stop believing. I dint care if I go to heaven or hell (If there is one) to be honest.

Plus, for all of you God worshipers. I bet you believe in Santa Clause, The Tooth Fairy, and The Easter Bunny too?

Men have been ruled by religion for decades, for it is the only tool the rich had to keep them in their place. Your question is where is hell? You have to believe in it to know where it is. I don't believe there is a place with fire and brimstone. I do however believe your soul leaves your body, and where it goes? Well I guess I will find out some day, I would rather concentrate on life then death. I don't use religion as a crutch, I use it as a tool. God did give us choice? right? I intend to use my (choice) fully.;)

ok, well, we all have a right to voice,i still believe in a better place, i live a good clean life and i know we all have a soul going some where...mine is going with jesus in my book of life here...i am amc.indian and white and i have a sense of life that is nature influenced too, it is all connected to something and god in my life delivers me away from alot of evil, when i pray and ask him to take it away, he does, and i guess enough said on that from me...

Wow, um hm what can I say to that? That was a little morbid? Blonde this is not hell, this is what you make it. You have one chance in life, to make it everything you desire, grab it, and run.
Smiling at you.......

you didn't get my point, you either know or you don't. each way you look at this topic it is good and evil. Im not evil, lord knows i try to be good, but come on..so i know where im going? good for my soul, it shows i believe...hell is here, sure, because evil is here, when god leaves this place and takes all the believers to heavin, then what is to do with the earth?i don't know so it could be hell too? some religions this is true... is it in the core of the earth, out in space? answer that question for me.

jesus is the only way in my book, i believe in him, and i am ready to meet him, who would't? no more pain, hurt rejection, sorrow, money problems, sickness, lieing, crime, bs from men, lol..yeah, im ready, sure i would miss my family, but they are saved too, so we will all live with god forever, it is good enough for me..hell is right here, now...and if that is where god chooses to send me, well he is god, he will make that call..

There is a geographical Hell ? Gehenna, a valley on the southwest corner of Jerusalem a garbage pit where fire burned. It's now a park.

Here here,

I agree everyone gets all riled about religion, jewish, black, white, muslim, buddhist. It is the main reasons countries go to war over, it's been a bone of contention since the beginning of time. Beliefs. It got you eaten by lions, burned in ovens, bombed or shot at,gassed, etc.

If the world never mentioned religion, that would be one last thing to worry about. Believe in yourself, and those you love. When youur number is up, well who knows what lies at the end. Much like mariage. You never know...

I agree with BlondIndian opinion, the debates has always been a curious one and entertaining. Been enjoying the posts.

I just hope as the debate continues on this thread we won't be in need of any paramedics and ambulances on standby.

Hell does exist now. Jesus descending into it after his death. People talked from it warning others of it. Hell is not in Heaven. The bottomless pit will be where Satan is put for the 1000 years.

Many of you who are quoting the Bible as far as long hair, etc. are quoting the Old Testament "Under the Law". We live "Under Grace" of the New Testament. There is a difference. Things prohibited in the Old Testament were not prohited in the New.
