My friend's message/status today on was "Happy Friday everyone, looking forward to a Happy Easter weekend" While her message had good intentions , I was disappointed that she was so ignorant as to what today is for so many Christians. The part she knows is only the commercialized Easter part :(

Today is Good Friday, a very pensive day for most Christians. It's the day Jesus was crucified and died on the cross. Definitely not a "Happy" day.

I didn't admonish her but did type my own status:"Today is Good Friday, a very pensive day for most Christians. It's the day Jesus was crucified on the cross. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

My prayer would be for the world to know this. I would say my wish is for others to not mock someone else's beliefs,it is becoming way too prevalent!!

    Happy Easter Everyone :)

Since I do look into the forums and see comments on videos on some social sites, I do see how the majority of people on these sites are expressing their views towards most Christians and Jews and I find it disturbing to say the least.

They are not apathetic and they certainly are not respectful, instead they mock others and seem downright hateful towards us. Chilling just how bad it is, I can feel their hate. They go out of their way to prove they hate believers. Unfortunitely this hatred and persecution will only get worse. It is suppose to be Freedom Of Religion, isn't it? My country was based on certain freedoms. So sad we are losing so much of it these days.

    More on this subject later.

I have learned I shouldn't even bother clicking anyone on, that means I see their photo and click to see their profile. To start, hardly anyone is Christian and I mean hardly anyone, then the ones who are, usually are pretty undesireable for one reason or another. If you think I'm shallow, you're wrong, I am referring to other reasons. I live in southern California, there aren't too many real men here, actually it's quite pathetic.

Also men do not want to take the effort past the first ten minutes to get to know you. I did have a very patient scammer once. Lol, yeah..he got to know me alright.

Since I am very stubborn and have a pretty large personality, I know the men I've come across don't cut it. I heard men are 22% less manly than they were about 20 years ago. In California, I would say it's more like 50% less manly. I've been told more than once I have balls, I think mine are bigger than most around here :/

You know I had the idea that maybe it wasn't true because she posted it on April Fool's Day and come to find out it was a joke. A very poor choice of a joke in my opinion. Especially in her position, I would not have made myself the subject of poor taste.

In reality, surprise pregnancies still happen all the time. I do wish it was all thought out more.

I was so disgusted by my friend's idea of a joke I deleted my post about it here, not wanting any reminder of it.

It still surprises me that women now a days dont practice safe sex.  It just boggles the mind.  I hope your friend is alright with her decision to have a child with someone she barely knows.  She is in for a long haul but very lucky to have you in her corner.

Warning: Don't read this if you don't want to know anything about The Hunger Games movie.

I went Sunday to see the movie in IMAX. I haven't read any of the books yet but I've heard they did a pretty decent job with the movie. I thought it was very well acted. I really want to read the books.

I surprised myself by crying through a lot of the movie. I totally didn't expect to cry, it wasn't just because of the movie but because of what may be part of our own future reality. Certainly the tracking devices that were injected into their arms is something already real but not yet widely used in humans. When the reality comes of the RFID chip being forced upon us, I can only pray that I can avoid it., I will refuse it and if it means an "underground" life somewhere that it will be whatever it has to be. Any form of biometric ID is something I don't want to be a part of.

If you are wondering, yes, I'm a Christian and being one means I'm aware of what may be happening not too long from now. If Obama stays in office, the path he has taken us will only continue and get worse. There is plenty of proof of what he has done but this is not the right time to type about it.

In the movie, there is a kill or be killed mentality but Katness doesn't want to be a part of it, if at all possible. She is a strong character that makes the best kind of heroine. She volunteers so her sister doesn't have to be the one to attempt to survive and win the game. This movie also brought to mind how the innocent (myself included) are pawns in a game by the powers that be.

I will say that having love, whether it's for a sweet child or a friend, or for your family, it's the thing that matters most, it gives us hope and joy to our lives, however fleeting those moments can be. In the end, it is all about love.

Well he never called :( I don't get the cyber games and I never will. Too bad for him, he missed a great day!! First it was the Rod Run then it ended with an excellent band that played a lot of my favorite songs along with playing a good game of pool :)
  • View author's info Posted on Mar 07, 2012 at 11:28 PM

    Quoting Jenkneee:

The Rod Run is this weekend. It's a major event for classic vehicles. They close the roads off and all you can see is car after classic car plus trucks, etc.

Now this is how bad it is in the Inland Empire to get a date. I actually have to use the bait of looking at souped up engines and some fine paint jobs along with a cold beer to entice my possible date to come and meet me.

Since the Rod Run only happens once every 6 months, if I blow it and can't talk someone into it, my possibility of a meetup will be 6 whole months from now.

Will I be able to pull it off? I will let you know in about 1 week.

Ha, I'm quoting myself. Well, it's Wednesday, I gave him my Monday and he hasn't called yet. I made plans and he's included,he doesn't know it yet but he is. How long is he gonna wait, geez. It's Wednesday night now . This may turn into him never calling since it's been 2 days. Men have a very short attention span and tend to move on quickly.

I can picture it now, me hanging out with a friend or two ( or more), no date in site. The bikers hanging out at the one bar (not a fan of typical bikers) then the TOO young ones hanging out at the other bar while the old men are showing off their babies (their cars). While having my Sangria, some undesirable character will hit on my friend, I will fend him off for her if necessary.

So we'll walk and look at the cars, have some Sangria, enjoy some music and eventually drive home alone, uh-huh.

You know I was thinking about what I typed and thought someone may think I am some lush who hangs out at bars every chance I get, lol. This area I'm talking about I have been going there to shop, eat and sometimes have a sangria for a couple decades now. It's one of my favorite places called "Old Town" and it is like the center of an old town :) There is one long street with many cross streets. You can just take a walk and visit different places, it's pretty nice. Unfortunitely the secret is out and it has gotten busier with the younger crowd.

I am loving Maryland right now!! Here is a video title regarding Maryland and some bills they're trying to get passed concerning the TSA , they also mention smart meters and the NDAA. We have to get our state legislators to hear us and pass these bills on a state level. Contact your legislators, it's a start!!

Unnfortunitely this MM site is too strict and won't allow my link to show up here BUT the exact title of the video is ...

Maryland Del. Moves to Squash TSA Groping for Good! with Alex Jones , you tube it.

Maryland along with a few other states are at least TRYING to start something here. Let's all get it started !! I will be contacting my state's politicians to let them know to stop the nonsense and get to work, we do have a voice, it's time to start using it !!

Unfortunitely some will laugh at this and go about their business. I take what is happening seriously. Changing the control of the TSA has to change. Stand UNITED in these UNITED STATES and see the difference we can make.

I'm not a fan of any tackiness whatsoever but the worse form is acting it out whether they are using their voice ,their typed words or literally acting it out.

What happened to acting like you have some class? I just read someone's post, definitely NOT classy, which brings up the question. Is it better for me to know you're classless so I can avoid you or not to be subjected to your original tastelessness?

I think I prefer NOT to be subjected to it originally.

I limit my time with all the BS in the forums here or elsewhere, sometimes I give my 2 cents and usually that's it, type it and buh-bye. I am not going to be part of any clique ever and sure as heck will not cater to anyone on any website. If you like me or my opinion then great, if you don't, oh well! To further dwell on this subject is a waste of time.

What I do spend more time on is politics, researching key factors that help me state a good argument on why you should not vote for Obama and why you should vote for Ron Paul. Much, much more important than how or why someone should date,etc.,etc.

Project Gunrunner and Fast and Furious does go all the way to Obama, he is responsible for the death of 2 agents let alone how many countless others. To think they put firearms directly into the hands of criminals with the idea of tracking the guns is complete stupidity. In the case of Agent Terry they were only allowed to use beanbags in a gun battle with Mexicans with assault rifles, etc. Unbelievable!!

Here is an article that refers to Agent Terry and more.

Here is a short but very important video regarding the administration's role in fast and Furious, etc.

Now this is the important stuff to learn!! It's the tip of Obama's iceburg!

    Vote for Ron Paul!!
*Make sure to check your state's regulations so you can vote for him in the primaries. Some states do not allow cross-over voting.

I thought I was gonna meet this particular guy from the internet this weekend. I thought that we would only be friends but still had envisioned us as something! Then I talked to him on the phone, nope, not gonna happen.

I don't know how many others do this (it may be countless), we envision what someone is like even before the first conversation. My odds are already low because I'm a little older and most older men repulse me,lol. Gotta say it,sorry! Between the fact so many men look much older than their ages and are very stuck in their ways, I just don't find them appealing.

Another factor is the fact I want someone who is Christian, they seem to be the minority on most sites except Christian sites of course. The latest Christian site I found has very few Californian members ( a whopping 66 males in the whole state) and the more active guys in their forum think we are in a past century. I may tap on this subject more later but I guess I must be "too modern" by their standards. I may be Christian but I am not a saint by any means.

There are extremes on the internet(duh), I just would like to meet someone in the middle. Someone where conversation isn't difficult. Usually I more than exceed in that area although first phonecalls may not be my forte'. I am incapable of kissing anyone's a** or being a tease, etc. so like I said..first calls may not be so great in their opinion and certainly from my perspective they're not good for important reasons.

The end result is I know it should never get to a first date which I'm thankful for. I haven't dated anyone from the internet in quite some time. I am not always actively searching on it either. I just got back on a certain site after being gone for about a yr and a half. When I go back on a site I see some familiar faces, some have been on for a few years at least. You have to wonder why are they still on if they have been actively searching on it for years! We can all come up with reasons why and none of them are good.

Enough of this for now. Today is definitely the day to make my Magic Bars. They are so good they're magical :)

It's late Monday (officially Tuesday)and I am still reeling from the bad news of the NDAA bill becoming a law on Saturday. For the record, I hate Obama!! I save my good (meaning bad)material on Obama for other websites. Since this one doesn't even have a politics title I figure an involved effort on my part will get virtually nowhere anyway but just in case, four words to remember... VOTE FOR RON PAUL !!!

Just read a lengthy first (and last) email from a scammer on here, it was quite obvious, he couldn't even get his name straight. Now really, what do I appear to be? I'm not your sucker ,fool, yeah... you're the fool!! lol. Seriously they need to get some justice done to their sorry behinds. Stick em in a room with the ladies who have been scammed and they'll be begging for anything to free them from their wrath, death included! since I got that somewhat out of my system.

Went out New Year's Eve, it was fairly eventful, but not in a "fantastic,I had fun" way but it a "This fight happened and this cop did this but then luckily this didn't happen and then I missed the Grape Drop anyway :( Yes..Grape Drop, better than a crystal ball, then again I really didn't see them drop so how sure can I be? Ha!

I was gonna go out this afternoon, beautiful weather, about 80 degrees or so but I got a phonecall from a friend and felt like I owed him a good listening session with some comments here and there, he talked about his past and now possibly, questionably current girlfriend for 2 hours and 49 minutes and 51 seconds as I had told him we needed to wrap it up on that topic!!! Then I gave him the nutshell, 10 minute version of the latest with me.

    Like I said...randomness :)

    Happy New Year!?

I don't know what happened to my previous post that included my New Year's reference so here is my new one with no links in it to make sure it gets posted.

Obama's latest disaster for the United States, my country, is that he signed the NDAA bill into law yesterday-December 31,2011 :(
People should be protesting in the streets about this. Does anyone even know or care? Yes, SOME of us do. I care deeply about what is happening to this once great country.

Please look this NDAA law up yourself and get educated, then vote for Ron Paul when the time comes. I truly feel that he is our only hope to turn things around. We need to protect our constitution and get back our freedom. It is almost too late, please support Ron Paul NOW!!

PS I have joined 2 MEETUP groups that are for one purpose only , to support Ron Paul. Support does not mean you have to give monetarily, you can post your support on the internet, spread the news to your friends and family and stand on a busy street corner with a poster. Make politics a conversation instead of the latest sports or gossip. Reality is what we have to discuss and work on, NOT reality shows.

I just tried my own fresh juice concoction for the first time in ages, it needs some work :/ Just one thing I wanted to try for the New Year that is good for me. There are some other things that are good for me but they seem to be elusive ;)

I do make 2 versions of a protein drink that I like but the juicing is questionaable at this point.

One protein drink that is good and is so simple.
Take 4 or 5 frozen strawberries
One scoop (or two)of vanilla flavored Whey protein-1 scoop is 26 grams of protein
One cup of either milk, almond milk or a substitute
Mix in a blender to the consistency of a strawberry milkshake.

Alrighty, this may turn into a complaint journal, oh well, lol. The thing is I tend to type what bothers me, not the good stuff. The good stuff is the best to experience of course but who learns from it? No one.

Okkkayyy...I'll type one good thing. I got as a Christmas gift a wedding photo album from my daughter and her new hubby, it's beautiful and since I'm a procrastinator it's the best thing she could have given me.

On to other random things...I just heard there was another skydiving accident nearby in Perris, unfortunitely a skydiver died, poor guy :( This is at least the third accident I have heard of there in less than a year! Flying is great, the landing is what can be difficult.

Signed on another singles site today that I haven't been on for a couple years, first day and I am somewhat disappointed already. Their forum is okay though, they tend to have a lot more participation in it compared to this site. There are political threads, etc. that this site lacks although for the most serious political happenings I like Alex Jone's forum the best,PrisonPlanetdotcom.

I don't feel like taking down any Christmas decorations. I may just have to have a party first before I pack it all away.

Anyone going out for New Year's Eve? Ha! I don't think I will get an answer here! I have always been the non-conformist regarding NYE celebrations. The fact that I am suppose to kiss someone at Midnight after some countdown is ridiculous, lol. I do like watching drunk people though, I especially like watching white guys dance poorly, the worse they dance, the more entertaining it gets! Whatever you choose to do, please don't drive drunk or even buzzed, it isn't worth it.
