Random;

I saw my ex-neighbor on here, too bad I can't tell any good women the truth about what he really is!!

I dumped a friend which basically for the most part means I lost a group of friends since she hangs with a group. After a year of trying to get some deeper friendships, all I got was a lot of partiers to spend part of my weekends with.
I can only put up with so much for so long. How many times can I go to the same places to drink? With a few exceptions that was basically what it was..drinking.  They can no religious beliefs or strong Christian backgrounds. They don't give a shite about politics or current events. Some do care about who they may screw next. Maybe the word "care" is giving them too much credit. They are looking out for who may be next.

Take another Zanex and you can stay in Happy Mode . That is what would be right for my former friend. Or should I just say to have another drink, actually it's both. For me, I want to feel...feel whatever it is without any drug influencing me. I also want to feel accepted for what I am. This can be in many areas.
What I find ridiculous is someone thinking all I should post on Facebook is happy, frivilous sentences. They think  I shouldn't post my views, the real news, any emotions other than happy, happy , joy, joy tidbits. I will continue to be who I am, you might like it, if you don't then oh well !! I am not here to please you.

I don't know where my path is leading me but I do know I can't stay where I was.

I am the Queen of Procrastination, in fact i'm doing it right now!!

I did manage to get in touch with my friend for planning Saturday Night. When I'm planning something fun, I don't procrastinate too much. It's the everyday, never ending garbage that I procrastinate about.
Saturday night should be wonderful. I'm going to see my favorite reggae band. Good food, good music, good friends,..only one thing is missing! He is, whoever "HE" may be, still he's missing.
Amazing, i was allowed to copy & paste something! Below is what I posted in a political thread in a different site's forum. There is an update to it that I will mention at the end.

Obama is up to his typical behavior. He refuses other religions but caters to Islam.

Group Proceeds With 2-Hour Islamic ‘Jumah’ Prayers ‘at the DNC’ (And You Won‘t Believe Who’s Invited)
Posted on August 27, 2012 at 8:25pm by Erica Ritz

The host committee for the Democratic National Convention is raising a number of eyebrows after choosing to proceed with featuring Islamic “Jumah” prayers for two hours on the Friday before its convention, though Democrats earlier denied a Catholic cardinal’s request to say a prayer at the same event.

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/dnc-announces-2-hour-islamic-jumah-prayers-after-rejecting-cardinals-blessing-and-you-wont-believe-whos-invited/#

Update: The DNC has now decided to allow the Cardinal speak at the closing of the convention. I am sure they decided to allow it because they need to pander to the Christian voters.

Obummer is dangerous, we cannot afford to have him get re-elected (in more ways than one!).  He should get impeached!!  I do not trust Romney but I consider him, without a doubt, the lesser of two evils. We need a third party to rise up!  Ron Paul was robbed of the nomination. The RNC broke it's own rules to make sure that Paul didn't have a chance. The entire voting system needs to get changed.
If I am allowed to, I will post some more political info. at a later date.

Starting with last night.
I dated myself again, I was very good company, lol. I was originally supposed to meet friends for Happy Hour, with either restaurant/bar I would have been happy and the main goal for me was eating a needed and wanted meal. Then we were supposed to see this rock/reggae musician(s) for the first time. I didn't expect to be there for hours but I did expect to spend a decent amount of time there.

Turned out my idea was not their idea and it all changed. I decided since I was starving, I would go for one of my fav. meals in Old Town by myself and I did. My friends were also in Old Town already at a bar down the street. Tthe two roommates decided to eat before they left the house. "Thanks so much for letting me know that you decided to ditch the whole dinner at Happy Hour thing!" I was thinking that, I didn't actually say it.

Dinner was nice but I REALLY hate eating by myself in a restaurant. Then i saw a jewerly store, I did some browsing and really liked a certain necklace (includes matching earrings) which doesn't happen often so I said "Screw it, just buy it. You know if you don't buy it, you are going to regret it." So I did buy it :)

I then met up with my friends, feeling better cuz I ate something good, and happier because I bought a pretty piece of jewerly which I wore walking out the jewerly store.
Eventually I finally talked two friends into walking to the Inn with me to see those musicians, the ONLY reason why I planned the night in the first place. My two friends are a couple who like to dance so they really liked it and they (the musicians) were great!!  We stayed till the end of their session.
I was going to get into a whole nother story but this one is long enough as it is. The night ended a little earlier for me which was fine. There was a major DUI checkpoint which I passed right through pretty quick after showing my license. Had it been later, the wait could have been much longer. I am not much of a drinker and never, ever would drive if I was drinking so nothing to worry about on my end. It is the other drivers I have to worry about and having been in 2 major accidents where the drivers of the other vehicles were drunk is something you never forget.

So with this rambling story, what do you get ?  Jenny is a great date...to herself. Plans? what plans? I make them, others don't stick to them. Driving drunk? Big No-No, don't even drive buzzed, it isn't worth it.  Steve and Jeff? Two cute, talented musicians I will have to see again. Mmmm Hmmm.

Looking forward to listening to a band for the first time tonight.  They're a Rock/Reggae local band. Then next week I get to see my favorite reggae band, check them out, The Devastators. Just type their name in ur search bar and you'll find them, based out of San diego I think.  They have some good original music and also play some covers.
By the way, my girlfriend did give Strep Throat to that Bo of hers, ha! I knew he would get sick!  I had Strep Throat once a long time ago. It was so bad I had a hard time swallowing. I could say something here, lol, nevermind.
Have a fun but safe weekend!

My girlfriend's parents left to go back to their home in New Orleans after staying here in CA. for a whole month. I ended up hanging out with them a few times and they are a wonderful, older couple. They were both widowed and found each other afterwards and got married. They vacation together, and dine and dance together, the way it should be. They may appreciate that they have each other even more since they have both loved and lost.

Always appreciate what time you do get with your loved ones. I lost my mom 16years ago. I would love to have one more day with her. My friend is so blessed that even though she lives far away from her home state, she gets to visit often and she still has several people TO visit. I don't. My favorite saying says it all.

Yesterday is History
Tomorrow is a Mystery
Today is a Gift
That's why it's called The Present
The End.

Try to remember this when you are with your loved ones. Tomorrow may not come so don't put off what you can say and do today.

Random happenings
First of all, I start my Monday off nearly disgusted by the display of affection that my grilfriend Cindy just got. She messages on Facebook that she is in Urgent Care, no other info. I am seriously concerned, as we're typing back and forth, it turns out she has Strep Throat, yeah it's uncomfortable and contagious but not the end of the world. Now what makes it not so bad is this new guy is with her, willing to catch Strep Throat to take care of her. I'm sure this is in more ways than one.

I can't even get a decent date on the weekend and I am not contagious yet she gets some hunk to risk getting sick for her on a Monday!!  Okay,...sometimes not getting a date would be because I say NO a lot and I don't act needy nor do I flirt to an insane degree. I also expect my date to have at lease some views we share. Okay...I am now getting the differences. I even want a Christian, lol. yes, it is all abundantly clear now as to why.

My dog got spooked again yesterday and was ready to take off under the fence in my backyard with me standing right there!!  This has happened 4 or 5 times in the last year or so and it's worrying me. This is a very sweet, loved little dog that I have had for 11 years. She was never like this before. Too much to type but I am thinking about getting a second dog and I'm hoping they will be buddies and it will help her not want to run. My other dog died a few yrs ago and Gizmo would never leave her side during the day. My other dog was better with a few things, the fact that someone left the backyard fence open and she would NOT leave the yard (and Gizmo stayed with her) says a lot. I will miss that dog forever.

I am completely against Biometric ID for humans but because I love my dog so much and she has been lost twice in the last year ,( I was blessed to get her back) I am considering getting her microchipped. It's a very hard decision for me for more than one reason.

Saturday was a nice day for me. It started early with a birthday party/Cajun Feast for a girlfriend. Then we visited a few wineries then a needed nap then out to Old Town. I had some Sangria and visited a few places. I found out about a local, reggae band that I want to go listen to them next weekend.

A few weeks ago I decided to see the only reggae band I know (up until meeting this one on Saturday). They were at this bar in San Diego and I made an event out of it to go see them with friends. It turned out to be one of the best nights of the year, nearly perfect. Of course what was missing was a special guy by my side but it was still a fantastic night.

They had Happy Hour on a weekend night till 10 PM, that is unheard of!!  Good food, good drinks, great music and all with friends :)

I met the perfect guy!!

Too bad he's a scammer :(

Saturday should be fantastic, even more so if I win some money :) I'm going to the horse races at the Del Mar Racetrack for the first time. Races, Beer Fest and a live concert,  hopefully some quality men? Not too bad?
I'm going to bet a little,.. the win, place or show way, just maybe I'll win, wish me luck!
By the way, I think it's eerie before Dawn and being in what seems like an empty city reminds me of Will Smith's "Legend" or The Omega Man" with Charlton Heston.

When it rains, it pours!

That is not typical for me but right now I am feeling slightly optomistic. It is way too early to tell but I have a FEW dating possibilities, yes!! Of course none of them are from this site,ha!

The one I feel best about today is of course the one who lives in another state, lol, now that is typical! Since I am quite familiar with scammers, I feel more confident since he gave me his full name and I can check him out to a degree. By the way, there was this one recent scammer photos that were  posted (on other sites) that I saw today with an entirely different profile, different user name ,etc. I guess it was the real guy in the photos because he is suppose to go camping with a group and you have to pay for reservations, so if he wasn't real, he wouldn't be making reservations, would he? I contacted him and told him about the pics, etc., not even a thank-you, so yeah, he must be real since he was rude enough not to even bother replying! So typical in the state of California where I live.

My last date was what I call a "Practice Date", I knew it would just be good practice for me to go out on a date since it had been so long. It turned out to be exactly that,.. practice.  One reason why I don't date too often is because I put so much effort into communicating before the date that I know a date shouldn't happen. I wouldn't want to lead anyone on anyway. I have so much fun with friends that I don't need to get it elsewhere :)

Well I did go to the Pub after all. I ended up falling in love at first site. He was so sweet and affectionate. When he looked at me with his big, beautiful eyes, I knew I wanted to take him home with me. His name was Hercules...the Boxer dog :) And no, I didn't get to take him home unfortunitely.

Going to the pub with friends to go see a band we like. hopefully at some point I will have one decent conversation about religion or politics :/  I don't know if I will find someone capable of conversing about anything deep and meaningful on a Saturday night at a drinking establishment but I'm gonna try. If not, I will still smile although right now I am not really feeling like the superficial crap of a bar scene. Hopefully because it's a pub,it may be slightly better.

I'm back from camping, it was just 2 days and just one overnight stay. There were a lot of nice parts about it. Only a narrow street was between our camping site and the ocean. We ended up have a BBQ and bonfire on the sand that night.
I slept in my van with my dog on a bench that folds down. It was better than dealing with the 12 other people and the other dog that was there. The dog (Cassy) that was there is a newly rescued dog who is sweet on her own but had some issues and my small dog was scared of her so we had to separate them.
Before the trip I was debating whether to invest in an air mattress but decided not to. A mattress would have been perfect. If I EVER go camping again, I will definitely have an air mattress. I doubt that I will go camping again. If I do, I will not go through that much of a hassle to prepare, etc. I was the only sober, adult female so I took charge of the BBQ, I did get one teenager to help bbq the food so it wasn't so difficult. I think what made it less fun but the sheer number of people we had, a whole thirteen! The group broke into smaller groups. What I think makes camping fun is the comradery thing, some people weren't getting it. All in all, it was a nice experience but Day Camping or nice hotels are even nicer :)

I am remembering some of the reasons why I don't camp even before I am camping. The work involved in preparing is ridiculous! I like nice hotels.
Just a few of the chores I've been doing for a couple days;
Wash van completely inside & out
Wash all patio furniture I'm bringing
Pull out heavy van chair so I can pack in patio chairs
Wash cooler, repair leak in cooler, shop for groceries, etc., pack cooler in the morning before I leave.
Pack various entertainment
Pack clothes, toiletries, supplies
Bringing the dog and everything for her including her crate.
I'm sure I'm leaving some chores out but gotta go finish my camping chores for the night :(

More randomness;
Seems like a lot of the blogs on here are a cry for attention and it's getting pretty ridiculous. Lol. I just use this as a thought processor/journal.
Last Friday Obama signed another executive order, this one having to do with controlling the airwaves. I hate him. It is 1984 in 2012 people, if you don't realize it now, when will you realize it? He needs to get impeached now!!!  It won't happen though, it seems he can do anything and get away with it. Am I repeating myself? Probably. Oh well, I can't repeat it enough!

I finally started with my emergency preparedness goal. I made the big purchase and bought a generator. The comfort that comes with buying a few things that may come in very handy is great! I still have a list of things but I get to check that one  off. What I won't become is a doomsday prepper. Those shows are a little bizarre to watch. I have only seen a couple. Some of it is just TOO extreme.

Going to see my free Thursday concert tomorrow, my third in a row. It's so nice to sit with friends and hear some live music and enjoying the cooler evening weather. I would love to do it with a date too. i with keep that topic to myself, thank-you! Sigh.
Been exercising a lot at the gym lately. Will it ever come to the point where I " feel energized and notice the changes", blah, blah, blah.  I do not get a high from exercise and I highly doubt I ever will. What I do get is tired from it. So I get more tired and sore, what is the point? Ha,ha..one of these days, the point better make itself known to me in a physical change for the better.
So GMO seeds weren't enough, they have now created GMO mosquitoes . You can't make this stuff up,.. bugs and plants that will make us infertile. Vaccines that make you sick instead of the opposite.  Drones in the sky. Light poles that will record u and your voices and talk back to you. TSA groping people just to get on a flight. There is more of course. It is sickening.
I said it was random :)
Here is another random comment- I hate tattoos. I just heard about some celebrity who got some long script inked on her forearm. Can't you just get a t-shirt made? Or a piece of jewerly?  I like skin, uninked, unmarred skin.

I was so sickened by the Supreme Court's decision to uphold Obamacare that I had to wait a while before I could type about it. I understand we need insurance reform but this is NOT the way to go!
It isn't worth the time to get into details for the very few people who may read this but if you are an Obama follower, you owe it to yourself to do some research and see the truth. I have been in political forums where no matter how many facts of his wrongdoings are shown to his supporters, they still stand firm and want him re-elected. The Sheeple may get this socialist another 4 years! Our country cannot handle another 4 years.
I also don't trust Romney but right now he is the lesser of two evils. The only candidate I do support is Ron Paul. If the delegates manage to vote for him, he could get the Republican ticket. Paul has had a virtual blackout by the mainstream media. You have to wonder why. One reason why is because he can't be bought. He's portrayed as radical, the fact is he is brilliant.

Just some random stuff and yeah, I'm complaining, lol.
My daughter and her hubby may move to Kauai because of his work for a project they SAY will take a yr. and a half.  I absolutely don't want them to move. They are my only family in California. We will find out fairly soon. It's ironic that they had a planned vacation there so as I'm typing this, they are there right now. They will probably fall in love with it and want to move :(

Had a major disappointment with a crush I had on a different singles site (nothing happens here for the most part). I am so sick of dealing with these different characters that I hid my profile. I'm gonna stay on the site but only for the forums. It is rare that I find someone who might seem right for me so when I come across someone with possiblities, I do get disappointed when nothing good comes from it.
On a better note I am spending more time in the GYM and I better start seeing a freaking difference :/
Went to the Balloon & Wine Festival and saw Lifehouse in concert, they were fantastic. Going Thursday to a free concert in the park Thursday with either Happy Hour or the wineries before. It is going to be nice. Sitting on a blanket on the lawn, live music and spending it with friends. What I really wish though is to have a man by my side too :)
Can I make more faces in one post? Why yes I can ; )

I now know 2 wineries that allow dogs, yay! I never get to take my dog hardly anywhere so I kinda excited about this revelation. My dog is small but not tiny, I can't carry her in a purse so she gets left at home.
Yesterday at one of the wineries there was the management's dog, Mojo, there. He's a labradoodle which is exactly what I want to have as my second dog. Why, you wonder? First and foremost, if the dog takes on the trait of poodle hair then I am free of my fur allergy :)  They sometimes take on the Lab side though with fur, from what Ive heard. It means I just have to see the dog in person to know. I've had a lab (they shed) and have had a poodle, they were both wonderful dogs.
Poodle fur is more like human hair, I could rub my face on it and have no problem at all. Thay make great pets for kids with allergies. There are a few more breeds that also are hypoallergenic so don't give up on the idea of having a pet dog if you do suffer from allergies :)

My laptop crashed a couple mths.ago, I finally got it fixed. What did I miss? Im guessing not too much of importance although I need to catch up on what is really happening in politics and current events. Of course I missed a message from someone here, yeah..he was probably the love of my life, lol. He no longer has a profile and hasn't answered an email i sent him.
One thing that happened recently was my first date in a long, long time. I knew beforehand there would probably be no romantic connection but thought it would be good practice for me. We ended up at a couple wineries, I will just say the alcohol helped. The day wasn't bad but it wasn't good either and I did get to add to my collection of wine glasses.
Am I destined to be alone? It feels that way sometimes. I am not the type to run after anyone although I have made the effort more times than I can count. Men online are just like little boys in a Candy Shop. They want to try all the candy no matter how much they like the one they have at the moment.
I'm also stubborn, I want certain qualities in someone and if he doesn't have some of them, that's it. For instance, I want someone with Christian beliefs. I realize Christians are the minority on your typical site but I am standing my ground. It's just one way that my odds are low. I also live in California, most men are searching for perfection and want someone much younger than they are. Of course they have no clue what they're missing.

Hey, I've been dealing with the typical drugery of everyday life. It is all bull****. Should I even bother to type the latest singles I have come across online? Hmmm, okay..but just one. First to set it up,my profile is very precise as to what I want (nothing ridiculous..just normal criteria like I want a relationship, must not be married, yada, yada). This guy contacts me, he's married, has 3 young kids, just wants to date (we all know what 4 letter word should replace "date" ,he is not looking for a relationship of any kind. He types he is too busy with his job but likes intimate moments BUT she must have her own life.End.of profile.

Can you freaking believe the audacity of this jerk to not only post what he did but I clearly stated every detail in my own profile. The point being that he was exactly the opposite of what I was looking for, although he did claim to be Christian, ha! What a joke! I'm not laughing unfortunitely. Of course he was also incognito in his only photo wearing dark sunglasses and a hat :(

So after getting disrespected by males for years in one way or another I am all incredibly sick of it.

There is a TV show called "Snapped" where usually a woman has had it up to her eyeballs and somehow, one day she just snaps! I have envisioned myself as being the subject and can hear the words now...this Inland Empire woman who seemed nice to the neighbors and had a lot going for her,.well today she...use your imagination to fill in the rest.

Uh-huh! You know the ones who question their sanity are never the ones who actually snap, just saying ;)

My friend's message/status today on was "Happy Friday everyone, looking forward to a Happy Easter weekend" While her message had good intentions , I was disappointed that she was so ignorant as to what today is for so many Christians. The part she knows is only the commercialized Easter part :(

Today is Good Friday, a very pensive day for most Christians. It's the day Jesus was crucified and died on the cross. Definitely not a "Happy" day.

I didn't admonish her but did type my own status:"Today is Good Friday, a very pensive day for most Christians. It's the day Jesus was crucified on the cross. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

My prayer would be for the world to know this. I would say my wish is for others to not mock someone else's beliefs,it is becoming way too prevalent!!

Happy Easter Everyone :)
