Hi Sharon and yes, yesterday was the big day. The anesthesiologist did a nerve block, which worked like a charm. No narcotics were required, but the block is wearing off and I am a little uncomfortable today. My daughter has been such a big help to me and I am so lucky to have her here. I've missed her so very much.
Thank you so much for the good wishes. I think everyone's prayers helped. :)
Hope all is going well with you and your beau!!

Cyn...the only beating a dead horse is yourself. It's quite apparent. One needs only to look at the length of your posts, compared to the length of the posts of others. Not to mention the content.

As I said the other day...the subject had changed. But you just can't let anything go.

For future reference...I'm done on this matter. Whatever you post toward myself will not be responded to. I have wasted enough of my precious time on you. You are a redundant dullard.

Cyn...I don't give a rats azz what you value or think. I thought you'd left. Good grief! Can't you see the conversation has changed? It's much more positive, and pleasant (without you!). Until you stepped in once again to make it all about yourself! How narcissicistic can you be? C'ya!

My post on 05/12 has nothing to do with narcissism (or egoism) on my part - how assuming of you! After openly refusing to acknowledge you on 05/02, you've made more affronting remarks to me regarding posts I've since directed towards 4Ws and Sween. YES, your opinions of me are INSIGNIFICANT and my suggestion that you stop wasting your breath was a tactful way of recommending to you what you once did me...SHUT UP! Your persistence in beating a dead horse is absurd, as are your additional innacurate and unnecessary slighting comments. I'm negative and unpleasant? Sheesh!! Stop being unrelentingly judgmental, critical and patronizing...lighten up! At the very least carry on with your adverse delusions elsewhere, or to put it more succinctly for your benefit, BUGGER OFF!

Your brain must have worked overtime to conjure up this quip Sween. Please consider what I told Sharp; I don't value your views either, and furthermore your comments are hackneyed.

Tall...tomorrow is the BIG day for you! I want to wish you good luck in your surgery and a speedy recovery. Take care, and God Bless! I'm sure your daughter must be with you now. Enjoy her company while she's with you. Let us know how you feeling when you are able. Ciao for now.

I can relate to you raking with a bad shoulder. I have two bad rotator cuffs that I have had cortizone shots in each about 4 & 7 yrs ago. My left acts up occasionally again. I not so bad I need surgery. I can imagine after raking, you ended up with a throbbing arm for the remainder of the day. Not fun!

Wow Sharon. Sounds like you had a busy, but fun weekend. I love camping, whether it be tent or trailer. As for the out of shape thing, I used to play golf, slolem ski, swim, go boating, and since all this happened with my shoulder, I haven't been able to do any of that stuff. Not even allowed to ride a bike, so I am reeeeally out of shape. I appreciate your thoughts and prayers and know that when all is said and done, I can get my life back and go out and have some fun!!!
Imagine me trying to rake rocks with a bad shoulder. Well, I did it....in my back yard. I have rocks in my yard from the alley. What a mess, but I got most of it cleaned up and grass is once again growing.

Hey Tall, you go in for your surgery on May 15, right? You'll be in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.

I've just had an exhausting day raking gravel out of my grass. The fellow who plows my driveway scraped off alot of gravel this past Winter and pushed it onto my lawn. The stones are large, so they will ruin my mower and I just had the blades replaced last August.
My beau & his son helped a bit, then we went bike riding for a couple of hours. Wow! I felt so out of shape. It's hard to believe last September I was riding 65 km/day for a week, much of it up hill. I'll have to get myself up to speed again. Apparently, my beau likes to bike & camp! Hmmmm...It's been years since I have tented! I thought we'd take a trailer with the bikes and bike from the campsite...not bike to the campsite! lol

Since youve joined your cohorts in pestering and reprehending in assuming the role of editor and critiquing the manner in which I express myself, I hope that the following "clear and concise" message will convey to you what I consider "worthwhile" thoughts: When people needlessly judge and affront others its likely a reflection of their personal issues, insecurities, deficiencies etc. If you choose to judge and affront strangers Sween do so objectively rather than subjectively; base your views and insults on reality instead of interpretations or misconceptions. It makes sense and presents you as rational, and understand that when you express them you risk receiving the same in return.

Re:

Hmmm...missed that comment by Sween, but I see Cyn you were quick to catch it! lol

Cyn I have expressed that you are verbose & uninteresting to me, and I may have suggested others may find you boring also. I have mirrored your own insults toward Tall back upon yourself. Other than that, I do not believe I have truly insulted you, or claimed to know anything about you in your daily life. I make comments based on the behaviour you exude with your words, which are often derogatory. I think you even resorted to name calling, but I'm not going to waste my time perusing all your past posts to prove that point.

Are you familiar with the saying, "he who points a finger at another has three fingers pointing back at himself!" Well, it would seem that applies to you. "When people needlessly judge and affront others its likely a reflection of their personal issues, insecurities, deficiencies etc." You have judged Tall & myself in more ways than one. You know nothing about us, other than we have a difference of opinions.

How about saying something nice for a change.

Hey Sharp......
Why, thank you, Ma'am. GEEZ, am I getting old!!! hehehe Well, as you can tell by my last post.....it doesn't bother me either. I have to concur with sween on the buffalo with BS theory!!

I am so tickled to hear that you and your beau are doing so well. It sounds like you two are having a great time together, and also that the combined families get along, which is top priority. Bummer that his brother is spoken for tho!!! hehehe

Not much happening in my life, but I'm content anyway. My lovely daughter will be home from CA in 4 days and I can't wait. We talked on the phone for 2 hours or more last night. She will be going back in mid-June, and I will be following shortly thereafter, to visit for a couple weeks, then later this summer, I will be visiting my son and granddaughters in VA........in between physical therapy visits!! Other than that, nothing planned for the summer, but recuperating. :)

WOW Sharon.....I think our standards of personal behavior are being questioned.....and here I thought our behavior was axceptional. Silly me!!! I never said the "F" word, tried to add a little humor to my posts, well, most of them anyway, and didn't burp while typing them.
As I try to read thru some of these posts, I get to the point where all I'm seeing is BLAH BLAH BLAH!!! I guess the saying "less is more" could come into play here!

How goes your romance and does he have a brother??? hehehehe

Re:

Hey Tall...I love your new picture.

Yes, our behaviour is being questioned, but it doesn't bother me. I'm just considering the source. Her first attempt at brevity was not great, but the concept did come across. I'm sure with practice she'll improve! lol

I have been asked before if my beau has a brother. Yes he does, but he is spoken for.

It is going very well between my beau & I. We're beyond the romancing and dating kind of stuff. We're more into the couple mode! lol We do everything together, if at all possible. He's teaching my son to drive, and tomorrow I'm going to show his 13 yr son to drive my tractor lawnmower. This should be interesting. Need my lawn raked first though! lol

We are going hiking in the mountains on July long weekend (July 1st is our holiday) with other friends. This should be cool. You fly in to the area by helicopter, and you hike out of the area over 2 days, staying in a couple of rustic cabins, which must be pre-booked. I'm excited. I love doing things like that.
In June, I am accompanying him on his second business trip. This one is to Boston. I've never been there. The last night there will be cocktails/dinner on a cruise around the Boston Harbour. I'm excited about that too!
I've invited himself and family to join myself & my kids at the lake this Summer also.
Yup!It's going great! :-)I'm in my seventh heaven as I write this. Thanks for asking.

Hypocrisy at it's best! lol

Cyn, please note that people who have anything worthwhile to say are able to convey their thoughts with minimal words. They are listened to, and respected. Once someone overwhelms their listers/readers with a plethora of verbosity, they cease to be effective communicators, thus losing their audience. You might want to reflect on this fact as you review your myriad novels which you have written on this thread, and I've no doubts other threads.

Remember...always convey your thoughts in a clear & concise manner! Just friendly tip!

Oh, Thank you Sweeney.

Hi Sharon. Loved the post, but is someone trying to tell me I don't have a life outside MM? I am crushed and I think I take offense. Anyway, as I read, I yawned and almost dozed off, so I think I will find a life elsewhere.......for now anyway!! :)
