I prefer to date white men, and with only two exceptions (and those two were Hispanic, which is still pretty close), everyone I've dated HAS been white. That doesn't mean that ALL a guy has to be is white to have a chance with me. I still wouldn't be interested in him if he was fat, ugly, old enough to be my daddy, dumb, or as someone else said, broke with no chance or motivation for improvement. Just that it's a semi-prerequisite, because I really don't feel any attraction towards men from any of the races I didn't mention. And it has nothing to do with thinking they're not "good enough" or anything, and is more like how a gay man doesn't find other women attractive in "that way." Sometimes you just like what you like, and nothing anyone else says or even your own conscious desire to do so can change that.

I was reading about love and color at 19 i was already dating my future husaband who was white and i said i would never married outside my race it is funny about love it creep up on you before you know it. I don't see any thing wrong with as long as it is for you to many people base there life on just looking for the color of a person face love comes in all color not just the one you search for searching to find it do not make it real letting it find you is so much better rather it is any color or age for that matter.

My brother is married to an American and they now have two beautiful daughters. I also have a cousin who's husband is a Japanese and an aunt with a New Zealander as spouse. And the list goes on..

I, myself, am looking for a Caucasian. And I see nothing wrong with that. ;)

I am still looking for a white man or a man of another race. It has been hard for me because so far the only ones that seem interested only want a sexual thing or they are dead broke with no potential for improvement. so if there is a man out there for me...Here I AM!!! Do what you like girl and have fun doing it

Lee,
It's refreshing to see someone so young, so bright and aware of her self.
I like that.
As stated before Good Luck

Most of my life I have dated white men. My friends call me a traitor sometimes and say I should stick to my own kind. But I feel as long as I'm happy I don't care what my friends have to say about my dating preference. I get annoyed but in the end I stay true to myself.

Remember there is a difference between finding love in another race and seeking love in another race. When you FIND love, that's true love, becuase it just happens, like love always does. When you look for love by skin color, whether it be in your own race or another, there is no way to determine if it's really true love.

For example, there has always been a lot of debate in california over the purpose of 'asians mate searching". You hear so often an asian woman looking specifically for a caucasian man... and most likely not for love because love can not be defined by color. But my great grandmother, whose japanese, married a white guy even though she had always felt that's something that she would never allow happen. Love is love, IT guides you to the right person regardless of skin color. You can't guide IT.

You are wise beyond your years.

Excellent point you are making. Last time I looked love had no color. Someone made a point about everyone being green. Sharon and I heard that one for a lot of years in the Army. I feel very fortunate to have grown up in the environment I did and being taught all my life that everyone is equal and we are all one race, the human race.

I have dated Non AA men for the past 10 years or so.....
Nothing I planned to do...
It just happened....
I just happened to be attracted to him and he to me....
He was not black, but no one cared EXCEPT the black males and hating females that we encountered........
I fell in love and married a white guy...
It wasn't planned either...we were just 'there' can anyone feel me on that???
You just know when something is 'right' for you, and you go for it....
We did....We divorced a couple years ago, but it had nothing to do with race issues.....
Your heart does not see color....only your brain...
The heart wants what it wants....
My family loved him and the other Non AA men they have met....
They are like that.[my family]...
As long as I am happy....
Why must people clutter everything up with stereotypes....
Why can't we all just get along....

I am glad that men are making comments about the prejudices of interracial dating. I am on another site, and I get more winks, or flirts from white men in Europe than American. The culture over there is very diff than ours, from what I was told by a few. They don't indulge in such petty racism as the States do.
Hell, I don't care, I just a nice gentleman that is not a pyscho with lots of drama that in the future if things are snazzy, introduce to my son.

Your friends are right... stick to your own kind... MANKIND!!! What the hell has the colour of someone's skin got to do with anything?
