Not to mention . . . in general, older women are better in bed! They know their own bodies, what works and what doesn't.

The research is out (I know, it blows my mind that statistitians get to make a living at this) . . . women over 30 are more orgasmic than women in their 20's. In general, the older a woman gets the more orgasmic she gets.

Some men don't care that the 20-somethings they're bedding are faking their orgasms because as long as they have their "eye candy" and their ego boosts, all is right in the world with them. These men are selfish and I'm actually RELIEVED that they ignore me, this old lady pushing 40, LOL!

I hardly think you qualify as an old lady, wink. Infact from what Im seeing your in your prime.lol.

Absolutely right. And for those who are menopausal ,there is no fear of pregnancy anymore and naturally means we are more liberated and not afraid of wanting more and experimenting.
ONly the connoisseurs of pleasure and Epicurean taste knows , it is a well guarded secret and lucky are those who know. ..:)

Sween it depends in what context you regard this remark. We all age differently. You can have a male & female each 45 yrs old. The female may have the energy and looks of a 35 yr old, and the male may look and have the energy of a 55 yr old; or vice versa. It?s our genetic make up. So to some extent, yes it is true.

In our 40?s, when many men and women find themselves divorced and re-entering the dating scene, men tend to recess back to their younger years, known as mid-life crisis. They want the sports car, and the young beautiful 20 ? 30 yrs old ladies. tI helps boost their ego, & self-confidence to know they?ve still got what it takes! It can last for a few months, but usually a few years. Some women experience this, but it is usually for a short period of time. Women tend to analyze their lives, searching their inner self. They want to know who they are, identify their needs, and set their own goals. In their 40?s+ women perceive sooner than men that they are entering the latter part of their lives. Men come to this same realization, but it?s usually when they are approaching their 50?s, and they begin to consider that they don?t want to be alone for the rest of their lives, now they would like to settle down again. By this time, they have the need for younger women out of their system. Now they too recognize, as Wellheeled mentions, that they have so little in common with 20 ? 30 yr olds, it makes back & forth conversation difficult. Older women have gained enough knowledge from their life?s experiences, which help to put them on more equal ground to men their own age.

Good posts Sween & Wellheeled. I have spoken to men in their upper 40's who had all gone through the period of wanting the younger latter 20's to early 30's lady, only to find they had nothing in common. Yes hot bodies, but not all. I think many women in their 40's have gone through a period of searching their inner self to determine who they are, what are their needs, what do they want out of the remainder of their life?
And yes, like men, we have also gained valuable knowledge from life's experiences...hopefully they were positive ones! :-)

thanks sharp,im sure you have more than your share of younger men saying that to you also, wink.

You hit the nail right on the head, Sween. Many of the younger ones chase me and I have spent time with some. It's just that I find I have so little in common with them that even basic conversation is a monumental task. I like dialogue with one with whom I spend time, not a monologue. I find myself drawn more and more to those 30 and above who are attractive, take care of themselves and have had life experiences that give them a perspective which others are able to see, understand and discuss. And by the way Sween, as I'm sure you know, there are a bunch of women in their 30s and 40s who have lovely bodies and are fully aware of ways to enjoy them. I find myself much more interested in women in the post 20s age range nowadays.

very well put, i agree wholeheartedly. Although its an ego boost,we really cant take 20 yr olds seriously, even for well you know.

Women are like good wine , they keep well with time. Also like vintage cars , they are prized collectors' items ..and with TLC they get better with the years.

So about time you guys hitting middle age look at the same age range , after all they would know and share the same experiences, from Woodstock to Beatles. And women in the mature age range would understand when your engine fails to perform and sympathise with all the anxieties that you go through when you have your male menopause or midlife crisis, we will be there to hold your hands...lol
