I honestly believe that deep down you actually agree with the rest of us on this subject but feel a need to go "contra". Now, now, stop before U reply. Take a deep breath; very very deep, slooow, all the way in, hold it, keep holding, 5, 6, 7, 8 and now exhale, nice'n slow, very slow..5, 6, 7, 8 ....good, very good. Now how does that feel?

Lol it's not mine so I don't know if it was a spur of the moment idea..probably not it must have been given some thought..It's good isn't it ! If I had a tattoo done I might consider something like this one.

It's a bit like going shopping for one thing and coming home with another..I've often wondered about getting a tattoo, but like you Cat I'd have to do it spur of the moment..what do you think of this one?lol.

Well I had been talking about getting a tat on my lower back forrrrrrrrrrrrever! One day I had went to Visalia for a Dr appt...and it so happens I was looking for this New Age store w/all kinds of neat goodies in it...ie Herbs, books, fiaries you name it...While looking for it I noticed a hair salon and a sign for tattoes and piercings...so I dunno it was then or never...so I decided I just wanted a lil one on my ankle...I looked and looked thru their pics...I didn't see anything I like so he said I have one you will like...he brought out this postcard from Hot Topic and I loved it...So he got started on it...next thing you know I have this big ole outline IM like what the heck...OH GOD did this two hours go by w/intense pain ugh! Anyhow he said it was toooooooo detailed to do it that little...what was I to do at that point...go around w/weird lines on my leg? I didn't do all the background on the postcard as there was plenty enuff on there...I do have this other post card w/3 fairies Id love to do on my low back...but having that other one already I dont wanna look like a biker chick lol

aww..well actually Bobby, I do,,a beautiful butterfly on my back...yes..wings...but not quite an angel...almost though..lol

my daughter is into fairies also
she has a set if Fairy wings tattooed on her back..quite large,, they go across her shoulder blades..very pretty too,
course she is beautiful,,and can wear anything.this pic..she was dressed for Halloween..as a fairy,,this was in High School a few years ago,,isnt she cute.

I use to love to do the Fairy dance w/my daughter and her friends around the Livingroom out out in the garden :)

Sounds like a wonderful setting for a special Fairy who would be in her element dancing with the butterfly's and Hummingbirds..I'd be happy to create such a fairy for you Bobcat but it will have to be later rather than sooner...but I will certainly talk with you more about that..

As for astrology..I study it just for fun and lead too busy a lifestyle to catch up on everything about it just bits and pieces to say hmmmm.
Yes I do agree with you that the art of magik has been colored somewhat with rose colored glasses, for myself I am interested in the old ways.

Any man who dates me has to come to terms with the fact that this is not a "phase," it's genetic, I YAM WHAT I YAM, so there.

Having been dragged kicking and screaming on to the astral more times than I can count (mostly noctournal out-of-body experiences or OBEs), I get assure everyone out there that the Otherworld, faeryfolk and "magik" are for real. However, it's not all fluffy-bunny-white-wicca the way the New Age movement would like to have everyone believe, as the consequences of messing with the Good People and/or the space-time-continuum (a la Star Trek, hahaha!) are serious and real. Fortunately for the Universe, most New Age Wiccans never get past candles, incense and prayers . . . which makes them about as effective as the average observant Catholic, which, if you really think about it, isn't so bad at all. Prayer works, yes!

As for astrology, I find it resonates well in the general sense, but if you go into it too deeply it becomes like a room full of funhouse mirrors. Best to keep it light and use it for entertainment, inspiration and general guidance . . . don't let it run your life or you'll be running in circles!

September 3rd is a new Moon in Virgo at 21 degrees. I read updates from the Mountain Astrolger which is an excellent magazine with esoteric slants. Esoteric has to do with looking at your chart in manners of what we have come here to do in this lifetime. In some ways..Our work to do to attain higher spiritual growth and face head on.. our lessons meant to work through here in our wonderful schoolhouse of learning.
Here are some exerpts from the Mountain astrologer in that it asks a person to look at certain influences peaking under the new moon in Virgo. It asks during this period that we "Use our head and uncover the heart". Set time aside to take a complete inventory of our lives..." Clean out the closets, revise your schedule and priorities and consider: " Every Day is a gift from God. What we do with it is our gift to God." (Mother Theresa). Look at what houses and planets will be effected in your natal chart during this time.

The Next full moon is in the very mystical sign of Pisces on September 17th at 25 degrees. It is called the Harvest moon. I will write more on this as It starts to wax....Here it rises in such a beautiful glowing orange as I will take pics and post...
