I love all dogs and animals in general, but want to take this opportunity to say something positive about one breed in particular that seems to always be a negative target. You guessed it....the Pit Bull. I think this breed is given such a negative reputation on the actions of a few dogs who were either neglected, abused or trained by their owners to be aggressive. A dog is what you make of it. I had a wonderful purebred Pit by the name of "Belle". She was a wonderful, sweet and loving dog who wouldn't have ever hurt anyone or anything. I raised her that way. I was forced to "re-home" her when I separated from my now ex-husband, and I miss her terribly and pray that she is in a wonderful, loving environment.
