True....how can you resist the face of your companion and friend.
I couldnt resist the face of my 9 year old, she became ill, and the vets had no idea what was going on with her........finally after five weeks, four vet specialists and one University, her problems were developing due to a heart valve.....within that five weeks I was threatend..."Dispose of your problem within two weeks, or you will be forced to quit or fired".....Lets just say that I told them to *&%^$.......
Could you imagine someone in a power position, having such a huge ego as to feel that he could order a person to "get rid of" their pet? One look in her big browns, and the wag of her tail.............
She passed away shortly after, on her terms...................
This is Oscar, my 11 years old chow chow. He's been there for me through thick and thin; I am so happy to have him. I just hope he lives long enough. He knows family members and social friends by name and he is so welcoming. I guess, I wanted him to be friendly with everybody specially with the grandchildren when they were born. It is so true that a dog is a reflection of his/her master. When I walk Oscar, people stop me on the street to tell me that we look alike. He even knows how to smile. Am I nuts? no, I can see him smile.
Winny

WELL MY 6 MALTESE GIRLS ARE A HANDFUL, BUT THEY GIVE ME UNCONDITIONAL LOVE..& THEY ASK FOR NOTHING IN RETURN!!!, WELL ACTUALLY ATTENTION , LOTS OF IT & FOOD, SNACKS..OH BOY IT'S GETTING COMPLICATED, BUT I TRULY ADORE THEM!!
Here's another pic of my pooch Spart, he's a minpin (miniature pinscher). He's a whirlwind of energy, but extremely loving and loves to be in your lap snuggled in.
I spent the first half of my life helping people and the second half helping animals as I work at a veterinary hospital. Both are rewarding but I *always* receive kindness by helping our furry friends. My best friend is my little 'wok wok' (pictured) as he looks like a little ewok. - :)

ShearaKLC write: My dog died :( I wrote a litle thing in my blog about it, I'll really miss him!
Sorry about your dog's death, it is extremely tramatic to lose a pet. I've lost 2 and remember feeling as if a close friend had died. I think I expected them to be around forever sharing our space and being a part of our lives. Don't deny yourself the grieving process...
