THanks Moonray,
Hercules is about 8 now. I was able to wrestle with him in the bathrom where the cubs are closely observed before their own individual huge run and Vets check them out good. He tore me up though ripping my shirt, and scatching me a little and playfully biting. It was hysterical to watch as for some reason all he wanted to do was to keep chewing up my leg and was going for my crotch!...The Lady I was seeing at the time took the pictures but was laughing so hard was unable to take others!. I just wanted to play but the strength of that animal was unbelievable giving an eye opener to what it would be like to ever face one in the wild full grown. I went to see him in July after all those years but he remained in his air conditioned cave and was not to see him. I may go down again to see mom in a few weeks and go again to try to get a pic of him...here is me with a cougar in 1997...there was a special event the place advertised to swim with a full grown tiger. I was ready to do it very excited but the owners said the Tigers had not been acting right and do not allow this event any longer..,man that would have been so cool!

This is my youngest daughter's boyfriend with my old cat Maya. We took a picture last night because she rarely goes to see someone to be petted. I think she thinks she's royalty and it's beneath her to do so! LOL But with Yan, his cologne attracted her, and she kept purring and rubbing herself on him constantly, she seemed to be in heaven!! I told my daughter's boyfriend "Yeah, she does that when I've just cleaned the glass top of my coffee table with Windex" and I winked at my daughter... hehehe

This is "Daddy's little Girl". Her name is Lauren. I named her after Lauren Bacall. Her boyfriend was Bogey who lived to almost be 21. She was given to me by a friend in 1989 as she will turn 16 in October.
She has to sleep curled on my hand so her face is on my arm..

BFD ...your funny lol

BTW I am a cat AND dog lover! Both have lived side by side in my house.

I had a black labrador called BJ (short for Ben Jnr NOT Blow Job!)and a black cat called Midnight who had just had kittens. Well BJ loved those little tigers although Midnight wouldnt let him near the basket. So everytime she went to feed or go out BJ would run over and start washing them. Midnight would return to a basketful of sticky mess, dog drool all over her babies that looked more like little gonks!!!!

Also have a maltese terrier who as a puppy was brought up with an undernourished stray cat that looked like a kitten even as an adult! They used to sleep, eat and play together, then when we bought our son a dog the kitten wouldnt let him sleep in the dog bed!! Eventually we had to buy another dog bed cos Chance (sons dog) outgrew the kitty bed (he was a ridgeback/boarbull lol

Don't you like cats? We were cat people at my house. I don't care what they say, you are in one camp or the other. What's it gonna be, cats or dogs? Don't give me that, "I like both". I'll buy that you don't like either, but no liking both. Because if you throw a stick, and the dog will go get it. The cat will just look at you, and you can feel it thinking, 'What, you think I'm a moron" Your private little stick fetcher? Puhleeeeaazze. Yawn."

Smart cat. Besides, you can't play cat-ball with a dog. You know, like soccer. But with a cat! It's OK, I can tell you first hand that they always land on their feet and the game gets progressively harder to play.

Did I tell about the time my long haired feline friend was shedding all over my room. So I gave her a haircut. With scissors. Ooops! I swear my dear cat thought she was being punished and walked with her head down for weeks. She was EMBARRASSED. We made friends again though. A little forced pot smoke in the face will make ANYBODY your friend. Purrrrrr. Just in time for KITTY SPINS! Hey, where'd that cat go?

Snooty, what color is she exactly, in the picture, it shows blue!! I must say that it takes some getting used to when you see a cat like that, although I do believe you she must be a sweetheart. My cat is a Singapura and people also have to get accustomed to her look because of her big ears and huge eyes, but we love her to no end and we think that she's the cutest thing around... lol... typical of parents, isn't it... LOL

I also love cats. Hair isn't an issue for me as you can see from my pictures. My cat was national breed winner. She is just a doll. I am glad there are men out there that like cats. They are hard to find.

Me too Natalie...that is why I take such much time and effort to make sure poor strays are not out there to suffer such a horrible fate..here is Caesar...I rescued him last November as dogs continued to tree him. I am just able to finally pet him now after many months of bonding with him. It is funny for one that was once so scared to demand being petted now every time he sees me!...priceless...he even lets me sctratch under his neck now which is the ultimate in trust for a ferrall cat...

bobcatmoon, your cats look sooooo happy... ;) Angel, Dartanian, Melatron... how many do you have??
Thank you for explaining Hemingways to me, I had never heard that before. So Hemingways have the extra toes? Dartanian is a gorgeous cat. I guess you don't have a lot of birds on your property... do you... ;) Before my Mom had Treena, she used to have bird feeders everywhere with all kinds of birds coming over, she had her bird book and her binoculars, watched them and knew all the names. But when Treena became a permanent part of the family, all the birds disappeared. It was too bad in a sense though...
You have coyotes over there too?? I guess the answer would be simpler if I asked you what kind of animals you DON'T have in your area... lol
