True: health, love, family and friends are the most important ingredients.
An other one might be the fact of looking to the mirror with respect, not being ashamed for anything you've ever done or said, the courage of saying what you mean and meaning what you say, the feeling that you don't have a price !
And most of all, you have to stay a bit childish at any age.
I guess that being happy is being able to solve that puzzle called live: some pieces are bright colors and represents the happy moments of life.
Some others are Grey and indicates... don't want to mention what...
As long as the two kind of pieces are well balanced, we are OK.
Nobody can be happy all the time. Good things can only be appreciated when they can be compared to the ones which are less good.
Bonnie88 write: I often feel that the most important things that make one happy are free and could never be bought at any price..
Health, love, family and friends.
What makes you happy and will keep you going even in the lowest of times?
To wake up another day to be able to breath, walk, smell, taste and enjoy the things and people that are near or in my life.
To look at myself and my body and see what a miracle that was created with such delicacy and thought.
Life in itself can be such a joy when we stop and look around us and really take in the moment that will become another second, another minute, another hour, another day, another week, another year, and another century where everything you thought you knew was only a small portion of what is to come and what is really out there in this world.....:-)
wwwww123.....good advice....happiness is always a choice. It comes from the inside out, not the outside in. It's not the situation or the circumstances....it is a conscious choice. That's my story and I'm sticking to it....but took me a long time to get there.
Knowing I'm alive and continuing to understand the human condition, realizing I am painfully human while still given the chance to experiene this beautiful journey called "life" makes me happy every day alllll day!
What makes me happy, very long passionate deep kisses with the love of your life for hours and hours, then a long drive along the coast followed by a romantic dinner at a very upscale reataurant, which would include kissing and cuddling in a romantic booth, this would make me happy.
what makes me happy? My mom not worrying about my dads health, my daughter being successful, my family being healthy and happy, watching my nephews face light up in the dollar store, seeing my niece light up when i take her to the mall, seeing my dog happy when he gets his treats, getting a ty from the boss once in a while, christmas spent with someone i love, cuddling, sex, cold nights and a warm blanket, a new car, shopping, most of all, what makes me most happy, is god in my life...he is first. and the rest comes second...
