are we talking about LOVE here or lust??? should I start a new thread??? I'm sure that one will be fun also...and that the answers will be VERY different :O)

bbd

bbd,
Excellent thread to start...Love or Lust and how we could ever distinguish the two, infatuation too...
Love endures the good and the bad...lust is just physical , sexual gratification and sometimes it is good enough and might just endure and be the glue in an LTR...lol

You tell him Bon-Bon!
I guess he wants to be known as a big slobbery old mature dog.

Me? I'm just a cute little ol' cubby bear who'll never grow up. Go ahead, scratch behind my ears, hug me, tickle my belly. Do you bring any honey?

Ok I know this is going back one month but I was re-reading some posts and thought this one was cute:
Bon-Bon!! In French this means candy.
Bonnie - are you our very own Candy Girl...?

Dear MIn,
HOw sweet, me as Candy girl? you mean arm-candy ? never thought I would become that ! I thought I was too bossy , hard and cynical, more like a tough old liqourice ...

Liqourice is too soft. More like a jawbreaker.-- that hard rock candy.

OH, but it is still sweet, just like you bon bon.

lol

coming from u wwwww..is that a backhanded compliment or a dig at my jawbreaking punches? personally I have never liked candy and that kept my perfect set of teeth cavity-free and dentists out of business..

middle aged? Theres nothing wrong with that, even though I am only 30 years old, I still find that I am getitng older much to quickly, so I am going to just deal with it and say that I am aging like a fine wine.

Aren't we all aging like fine wine. I'm 45, and have to remind myself I'm not 35! Sometimes, I have more energy than my 16 yr daughter! I don't think about it, I just live life and do the things I love to do, or have never tried before but want to try. Isn't that partially how we stay young? :-)

Bonnie, I can bring you some Greek honey which is supposed to taste divine but I wouldn't know cuz I hate honey, I just believe what the others say about it - lol - but Cubby being the bear that he is will love it if you spoon-fed him some honey.

Well Sharp, I do have to go the store, pick up something for Fathers Day. Then I have to go grocery shopping, stop at the pet store, go get my registration tags for my car, take my dog to the vet for her yearly check up, etc. Does that answer your question?

Life is all about the mundane and the daily chores that could dull and bore the first flush of romance in all marriages over time...
but a happy loving relationship gives all these mundane chores a purpose and reason..my late husband and I just love spending time together doing the mundane and the boring..so true love is not about grand passion and elaborate gestures, it is about being together and sharing those precious moments we take for granted..every moment is a memory etched deep in our hearts..
