in my case it is american indian, looking white, we cannot win for loosing, people are people, i hate anyone who blames things on color, if you think about it, the one who brings it up is the one with the problem, men want, black, white, fat, skinny, whatever, woman to, only in america are we the problem, and slavery did not start with the africans, it started when columbus came, read your true american history and see who should recieve anything in this country first, it is the Indians, who are still being treated like dogs and NO ONE CARES...history..WE CAN ONLY CHANGE THE MISSTAKES...OURSELVES BY NOT RELIVING THEM..

The only reason why we African-Americans have Black History Month, Martin Luther King Jr day, is becuase in our history we did the most things to change Americas views on racism. We have tons of African-American activists, tons of Black Museums, and tons of African-American Inventors. Now if the Indians did the same exact thing we did back then, then they'd have their own everything as well. But, I think that we should have more museums of Indian Cultures, Asian-American Cultures, Hispanic/Latino Cultures as well. But, the problem is no one stands up and says anything but, African-Americans. I'm not saying, we're better, but we did do a lot to change this country.

I know this much, the US ARMY thought our ancesters were going to pick thier cotton and cook and clean thier homes and be slaves like the black man but our ancesters took rocks and sharpen them and attached them to sticks and made a Bow and arrows. When they came with thier whips and thier mighty armies our ancesters battled these invaders, for over 200 years we died by the hundreds of thousands and the (AMERICAN INDIANS)Never did pick thier cotton or clean thier homes,or work thier farms like the black man.We battled these invaders until they grew tired of fighting us.Today we still live with pride and respect for who we are because we were never thier SLAVES like the black man we were warriors, god bless.

thats gay! lol who cares really?

Your History,,Black people were picking cotton and working the farms, washing cloths,,washing dishes, cleaning house and locked up and chained at sundown and getting thier a$$es spanked by thier MASTER.. ..lol THATS (GAY)

History,,Red Men Burns from the inside out sweet chocolate,,One Redman killed over 200 invaders with only a stick with a sharpen stone on the end of it. They die fighting trying to keep our homeland (AMERICA) and from picking the INVADER'S cotton and cleaning thier houses the way the black people did.WE died by the hundrerds of thousands for the pride we have today. We were never thier SLAVES..REDMEN ORDER YOU ONE TODAY GIRL YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID, WE WILL DIE FOR OUR LOVEONES BECAUSE WE LIVE FOR OUR LOVEONES,,god bless.

You're sitting here saying, that your people died like warriors true. But, name a couple things Indians did for this country, that people celebrate besides Thanksgiving. why don't you name some Indian Activists that wen't down in history and people take a day off of work to celebrate. Why don't you have a full History Month that in every class across America celebrates. Wait, you don't. So, you're trying to say Indians are better then Blacks? I beg to differ.

Topatoya,

With all due respect, I think you are comparing apples and oranges. When Caucasians arrived in North America, Native Americans had societies which had been established for hundreds, if not thousands, of years.

With a strong and solid foundation like this, as well as supreme knowledge of the terrain and fierce war capabilities which were honed through generations of tribal conflict, the Native people certainly had the capacity to defend their "home turf".

The African "slaves", on the other hand, were ripped from their homelands and taken to a new world where they had no societal or community foundation, and, subsequently, no cohesiveness, a fundamental requirement for meaningful resistence.

In any case, I don't think it's necessary to compare the experiences. Both societies have painful chapters in their histories. One is not better than the other and each faces many challenges in the 21st century.

Are you implying that just because, African- Americans were in slaved that we have nothing to be proud of? For your info African-Americans did fight back but, we didn't have to fight back with violence. Our words, our beliefs, and our actions inspired a nation, to change for the better. That says something don't you think? I'm proud to be African-American because, we countered racism for all minorities and our next generation so that they don't have to go through the same thing our ancestors went through. So, we should recieve things first at blondeindian, because without Rosa Parks, MLK Jr, Malcom X ect. This nation probably wouldn't of changed.

This is so true. I belong to a private group where white women come to get with black men. The attraction obviously is very strong but they rather deal with it in secret.

My last partner was an African born, but raised in England, America, Papua New Guinea and Australia. When I entered the relationship people kept making comments about how others would treat me differently. I can't say I ever noticed. What I did notice was that because he was so different in looks to men I had previously dated, I never got tired of looking at him, and never took him for granted. The contrast of skin was magical. What I did notice was once we stepped outside our home his projection became 'black' as you see on tv, instead of being himself as I knew him. Culture cause issues as it instils different values and expectations. I think, more than race, this is what causes problems and is the more accepted reason people develop racist attitudes towards interracial relationships, behaviour is seen as cause and colour is what is blamed.

I have found that It doesn't matter what the race it's what the person believes and how he treats a woman
