Tasha, Censorship is alive and well at MM. I have seen with my own eyes the post written by Sharp and it was removed by MM. Thank you for FREEDOM OF SPEECH MM........

Tasha hypothetical question: What if I Devo or call me DR. TROLL claimed twice in a public post to be a medical DOCTOR and was only a nurse. Then Lovely_S. truthfully posted and said I was ONLY a nurse. Does MM have the obligation to remove Lovely's post if I Dr. Troll requested it so people don't find out I lied?

DR. TROLL would be a good name for someone that said they were a doctor that was really a nurse.

.

That would be the only reason to have a post removed. It's a threat. By the way... Ehat is the definition of a TROLL anyhow Don?? Can you elaborate please???

Doctor?? I thought you said you were a nurse in another thread. if im not mistaken, and maybe i am. but i thought someone in palliative care was someone that takes the burden of care, from the family and the physician. Im so confused.

It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven or what shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and lose his soul what shall he give in exchange for it? or why put your trust in gold or silver that neither heareth or seeth ? I'd rather be in a deep dark grave and to know that my poor soul is saved than to live in this world in a house of gold and deny my God and lose my soul.

At any age I believe it still matters at the end of the day how you make someone feel. Money is fun, but doen't make you less lonely. If anything, I feel like somtimes it can isolate you more.

FP: I married late in life because I was trying to finish an extensive education and get established in my profession, and I had no children by choice (I did, however, raise my husband's children). I had NO financial help whatsoever, however, I have twice been married to men who looked to me for monetary support. My "significant other" of the past many years was 10 years my junior and a high income professional involved in his career to the extent of working over 80 hours a week. He was not prepared to retire in the near future, so we recently separated amicably. Talk about making erroneous assumptions...

If you spent your free time working a second, or even third, job or some type of self improvement instead of on these forums, you might eventually find success on your own. It appears to us that you really want a free ride and that you are not willing to do the hard work nor make the sacrifices that success requires. (And I quote from some of your many posts: "While some of us might not be "cultured"... we're looking for someone with the strong desire to culture us." "Truth be told, I'm seeking better company, better friends and a better life for myself than what I already have." "I want to travel, live my life to my fullest and have some adventure!!... without the risk of becoming HOMELESS again!!")

I speak from years of education and experience whereas you have neither, so you merely come across as an envious, whining child who is attempting to bolster his ego by deriding more successful people.

Fortunately I've met (through a professional organization) an educated affluent gentleman who is also retired from a successful career and enjoys travel so I'm signing off permanently. This site, and the people it attracted, was a great disappointment.

Interesting question. I think we feel a bit different towards a partner dependent on his/ hers richness compared to your own. We have all hearded the expressions:

She wants him only due to his money.
He is going for hers money.
She is too rich for him.
He is belonging o another class than her.

We are facing difficulties here. Many opinions and attitudes that we are confronted with.

Mandalay You are really cute and witty.
I have enjoyed the Forums it has been therapuetic with all I have had on my plate lately.
Gem I think you are an absolute angel
Sharp reminds me of my mom who was a taurus like Sharp and so fair minded optomistic and a peace seeker.
People like you are what makes the world a beautiful place to live in.
So sorry if I went off...a little.
by the ways things are looking better as I am soon preparing to be back in Barbados to fight for my rights to my son.

Hey thanks Sharp and Gem...

Hey Mandalay, it's a good thing you're in Ohio...you make that comment to me in person and you don't survive the night...come to Manhattan...I'll show you a very long and painful evening...or may be I'll come visit you...Have blades will travel...I teach Kendo all over...want a lesson? A-hole

Thanks for the offer on the lesson! I appreciate your generosity, you seem like a very giving man...I find that quality very attractive in a person!

However, I'm a bit Claustrophobic and the body Armour would probably make me pass out prior to being whacked upside the head by a bamboo stick...(don't they use some sort of bamboo stick or wooden sword in practicing?)
