Ladydocm write:
FP: I married late in life because I was trying to finish an extensive education and get established in my profession, and I had no children by choice (I did, however, raise my husband's children). I had NO financial help whatsoever, however, I have twice been married to men who looked to me for monetary support. My "significant other" of the past many years was 10 years my junior and a high income professional involved in his career to the extent of working over 80 hours a week. He was not prepared to retire in the near future, so we recently separated amicably. Talk about making erroneous assumptions...

If you spent your free time working a second, or even third, job or some type of self improvement instead of on these forums, you might eventually find success on your own. It appears to us that you really want a free ride and that you are not willing to do the hard work nor make the sacrifices that success requires. (And I quote from some of your many posts: "While some of us might not be "cultured"... we're looking for someone with the strong desire to culture us." "Truth be told, I'm seeking better company, better friends and a better life for myself than what I already have." "I want to travel, live my life to my fullest and have some adventure!!... without the risk of becoming HOMELESS again!!")

I speak from years of education and experience whereas you have neither, so you merely come across as an envious, whining child who is attempting to bolster his ego by deriding more successful people.

Fortunately I've met (through a professional organization) an educated affluent gentleman who is also retired from a successful career and enjoys travel so I'm signing off permanently. This site, and the people it attracted, was a great disappointment.

I was replying to this message with :
"u go, girl!"

i think, dear, u shouldnt worry about rich women, being at ur age and shape.
They can afford hot, attractive studs to please them in and out of bed.

Interesting question. I think we feel a bit different towards a partner dependent on his/ hers richness compared to your own. We have all hearded the expressions:

She wants him only due to his money.
He is going for hers money.
She is too rich for him.
He is belonging o another class than her.

We are facing difficulties here. Many opinions and attitudes that we are confronted with.

Mandalay You are really cute and witty.
I have enjoyed the Forums it has been therapuetic with all I have had on my plate lately.
Gem I think you are an absolute angel
Sharp reminds me of my mom who was a taurus like Sharp and so fair minded optomistic and a peace seeker.
People like you are what makes the world a beautiful place to live in.
So sorry if I went off...a little.
by the ways things are looking better as I am soon preparing to be back in Barbados to fight for my rights to my son.

Hey thanks Sharp and Gem...

Hey Mandalay, it's a good thing you're in Ohio...you make that comment to me in person and you don't survive the night...come to Manhattan...I'll show you a very long and painful evening...or may be I'll come visit you...Have blades will travel...I teach Kendo all over...want a lesson? A-hole

Thanks for the offer on the lesson! I appreciate your generosity, you seem like a very giving man...I find that quality very attractive in a person!

However, I'm a bit Claustrophobic and the body Armour would probably make me pass out prior to being whacked upside the head by a bamboo stick...(don't they use some sort of bamboo stick or wooden sword in practicing?)

I'm sorry, but may be you women should look at who's being a toad...did I ever start anywhere saying anything about Dorma? NO. Well, may be I should publish her sexual emails and nude photos that she sent me!

Larry...quit while you're ahead...again you are showing what a dim witted J*E*R*K you are, giving credence to everything dorma is writing about you!

Since you didn't get this little exchange between Mandalay, myself & Gemini...I'll explain it to you in elementary terms so you won't misunderstand...OKAY?

Mandalay made a witty comment meant to bring humour into these forums for all readers. Because I knew Mandalay from months ago, I joked around with him, and Gemini joined in too. We were having fun, and none of our little exchanges that you've highlighted had anything to do with you!

Gem was joking about herself wearing a black hat and broom and turning men into frogs, hence I said frogs better than toads, because frogs are supposed to turn into Princes. You do read don't you? Or do we need to offer English Reading 101 to you?

Please show some class ... don't be posting nude pics of anyone on these forums. Your little tirades across the forums today have really shown the ladies of MM (including those who read anonamously, never posting) that they really don't want to know you!

Larry...you do belong in the trash bin! I know I don't need to voice this, because everyone reading can figure it out themselves...BUT I'm going to voice it...LarryBinNYC, YOU ARE A CLASS 'A' J*E*R*K!!!

Mandalay was making light of the lengthy post which dorma wrote> He was not insulting her, nor yourself. It was an act of humour relieving the tension you and dorma are intent upon releasing to the rest of us on these forums. But you are obviously too dim witted to figure that out, as it seems to have gone over your head.

Ah, I see Dorma has weighted in...Funny the impression you all get hearing only one side and that from the one who was turned down...I had to block her from stalking me with emails and IM's everytime I signed on...My side of the story? I've been in contact with her since Nov. 5th. She went sexual on the second email. She emailed me and told me she was coming to NYC and wanted to meet me. I said fine, lets first meet cor a cocktail or two to see if there's any chemistry, then make a second date. Her reply was for me to get a 5 star hotel room with 1000 count tread weight, take her to dinner and back to the room for s.e.x all night...Which I though was odd since we've never met but she's been telling me all this time how long it's been since her last time and how much she wanted it...IN A JOKING MANNER I said, well, if we hit it off we can always do it in the bathroom. IT WAS a Joke. I never meet anyone for the first time for more then drinks, why lock yourself into a potentially bad experience...if you hit it off you can extend for dinner or make a second date. She has serious problems folks and hence her lies and distortions.

You're right...two sides to every story...but do we really need to know? It's kind of like a Soap Opera...funny & entertaining in away.
