I THINK RICH WOMEN DONT CARE I THINK MEN WILL NEVER HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH A RICH WOMAN . ITS OUT OF THERE LEAGUE THEY DONT NEED NO ONE.JUST LIKE A RICH MAN HE DONT CARE ,MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL,ANDBEING POOR MAKES U DO EVIL,SO AS LONG AS U RESPECT YOURSELF AND OTHERS AND GIVE ALL THE LOVE U CAN LIFE SHOULD BE GREAT.SO HOPEFULLY EVERYBODY IN HERE HAS A GOOD LIFE
I was clicking through a few of the blogs, but the direction this one took caught my attention. Growing up in Vegas I have yet to see a deep-heated discussion with some substance. I haven't read enough to be able to side, but I can say I can't agree with divine. Sure NY may have said something that could be misconstrued, however she held her own and was able to back up her words. That along is very attractive. Many women I've met could never hold their on a discussion like that, they'd simply resort to swearing and name-calling; I know, childish. Any who, those are my two cents. I guess I'm gonna have to start checking this to view my responses. Everyone have a great weekend!
i THINK THE ONLY UNBALANCE IS YOU DEFFINETLY INSECURE, HEY THIS WORLD IS MADE FOR EVERYONE..
IF YOU KNOW THAT YOU ARE RICH DON'T NEED TO BE 6AM NEWS, IF YOU ARE BEAUTIFULL HOPE IS NATURAL, YOU SEE I DONT BELIEVE IN SURGEY I JUST WANT PEOPLE TO ACCEPT ME THE WAY I'AM

You seem so down to earth! I respect not only what you stated,but you personally. To me you sound not only to be a very fine professional,but a woman,mother,sister,and daughter that very few men could ever dream for. What I mean is that is most men are not smart enough to know a good woman when one appears,and when one has a woman such as yourself,they are too stupid to realize what they truely have...Consider going on the cruise sharp1 is trying to put togeather..I know I'm considering to go,and it would be a pleasure to meet,and talk to you..You brought up some good points,and I'd like to talk to you hopefully even before the cruise..I will have a good thought for you,and your family this evening(smile) Earnit22
Hey earnit, glad to hear your considering the cruise too. Divine you should also.
Sorry I haven't posted comparison details yet. I knew Sept. would be a back month for me...a little under the weather, especially today...but when alls well in the health department again, I'll get right after it full Steam! Feel free to spread the word.
I have to say that I date a woman with money and plenty of it. She is not a prude nor is she putting me down because I dont have as much as she. She is a normal youg lady and I love her , been with her for 6 and a half years. The money is not what makes any relationship. And if that is what you are looking for then you are in bad shape. Love and respect . That is where it is at.

divine what beauitful work, i love the all hand craftsmanship, took me forever to find the tiles i wanted.. now if i would have seen them they would be on my floor now.. Yes NY is extremly high, very hard for the average middle income since most houses start at 500,000 even a condo.. and that is out of the city.average 4,000 sq foot house is million- i did buy mine years ago so im happy in knowing it worth well over.
A rental in manhattan evem an area thats not even nice is sky high.. A manhattan apt would be about 10k a month in the city, yes occupation is correct- dont discuss legal issues online. As for pictures - yes the perception that forms the opinion on first look.. is not who i am .. many women know modeling helps pay tutition-- could have been a stripper but i dance like patty duke...

Divine, I'm a Taurus. I never put much stock into it when I was younger, but a friend had this book by Linda Goodman regarding signs...it describes the Taurean Woman...me to a 'T'! A Taurus man is supposed to be my perfect match...hmmmmm...maybe that's where I'm going wrong...I never meet Taurus men...where are they all? lol
I love Maui. Have stayed in the Kehei area, but my favorite is the Kamoale Sands across from the Kamoale Beach I. Parking is horrendous for that beach, so staying across from it is a real bonus!
It depends where you buy as to how expensive real estate is. Food and other amenities are inexpensive compared to where you live. A 4 gallon jug of milk is just under $4 Cdn
Some things are cheaper in the States and they have greater selection...it's getting better.
But expensive or not...one just can't compare shopping in NYC with anywhere else in Canada or much of USA ... it's like comparing apples to oranges! :-)
That's beautiful work Divine. I love artistic design that has practical function. Nicely done! ;)
As for Canada being expensive it really depends on the city. I just returned from Vancouver and it is indeed outrageously expensive......I don't know how young people starting out can ever get on the ladder. :(
Montreal, on the other hand, is, in my opinion, very affordable. For the 1.5 million you would spend on that HI tract home, you can pick up a beautifully renovated huge, 5 bedroom Victorian home in the best section of the city (parks, tree lined streets, etc..) within walking distance of downtown. And you get to live in the Paris of North America! ;)
As others have said, where one lives often has a greater impact on one's standard of living than what they earn....
Where do you find riches?
~~~~~A beggar was sitting on an old trunk by the side of the road with his hand out to passers by. He had done this for years, looking out into the crowds he seeked those who would give him spare change to survive. One day a wise man approached him and asked "What is inside your trunk". "Oh nothing" said the beggar "I've been sitting on it for years". "Open it up" said the wise man. "Waste of time" said the beggar and he stood up, lifted the lid, and showed the wise man inside. To the beggars astonishment it was full of treasure!
I was born here and never realized how lucky I was- I live on the Island of Maui- the area is called Wailea/Kihei.
It's the general view of the close observers that even track houses at 1.5M requires both adults to work not just full time (a cop makes 33k a cashier 15k-a monthly payment of 1,800 + normal expences=50K) so we got one or both working 2 jobs- Really- how long can that last- 5 years- maybe 10 before someone gets hurt or burned out- I think starting in 5-7 years we will experience mass forclosiers which will cause property values to plunge. Its generation x that's in for trouble.
Isn't NY just as expensive? And Sharp1 - I didn't realize Canada was expensive at all- wow! I gotta say- everyone I have ever met from Canada has been such great people. Really nice to work with.
Sharp1 and NY- I look for your posts- you are both very intelligent and intresting women- like to know what sign each of you are. I don't live by it- but I like to see how often the traits hold true-
I think the pictures that each of you have posted seems to really match your personality. Mine doesn't-but thats the problem with modeling- you always project one look or another, but its rarely you. This is my courtroom atire. NY- I read somewhere -your a lawyer. Are you? My work:
the green is carved slate the white carved marble- the vase- copperslate. I do all kinds of picture murals. I'm the only one who does 3D- The popular water jet cutters can't do this kind of 3D- so I wont be copied too fast!
Well, that is the price of properties in all major cities. Hence the next generation will need to have wealthy parents to help them pay for the deposit to a home or like Japan banks will have to set up two-generation mortgages that run beyond 60 years and only given to you if you have children, so your kids are already in debt at birth...lol
People think I'm lucky to have been born and raised in Hawaii- but to have a child here is to condemn them to a life of poverty or eventually moving away. Track houses are bought up by people who wait 3 days in long lines- for 1.5M each. Even the average run down house is still $800k. Low income houses start at 540K. To survive you need to make $300k a year.
In the last 3 years my Island turned into a mad house- 3- 7 even 45M dollar homes are being built everywhere- and the crazy part is they are only used for 2 weeks a year.And they don't rent them out the rest of the year. I can't complain- because I am an artist whose carved stone picture murals are "must have" for the people building these homes. Everyone in the building industry is doing great- but the rush will end- the jobs will stop and the whole financial structure will fall apart.
What I'm getting at is money is a matter of perspective.When people put down they make 5M 10M a year- do you believe it? perhaps you should. There is a lot more money out there then most people realize. But when you live some place expensive- it's all relative. I see NY chick saying how she is rich at 100k a year- I assure you-out here- I make over 300k- and I am considered poor. I cannot buy a house. My children have no chance- we will have to move to afford a home. I want someone who will love me with all his heart- Out here we are raised with the attitude that a mans money is just that...HIS. and hooking up with him does not give you a right to access that money. Girls here all make their own money. Being a house wife is not an option.Not with a gal. of milk at $8 and Gas at $3.61 a gal-**correction-gas is going up 44 cents today!(monday)
and for NY- I just had to post this picture- taken as a joke- it's the epitome of cheezy..but men love it- It's just not who I am.
Divine your cheesy looks great & I'm sure it's not you. I like your post.
There are alot of Canadians & Western mainland Americans who own condos in Maui & Kaui too. They help to drive real estate prices high, beyond the locals' financial capabilities. And they only use it 2 to 4 wks per year...not contributing much to the economy. Some rent a little, but not all.
It is the same where I have my house at the lake. The locals are struggling to pay their taxes which have skyrocketed because of the skyrocketing prices for lakefront. A house you'd bulldoze 12 yrs ago tried to sell for $389K Cdn, and a year ago sold for $900K. When the locals retire, the will be forced to move, because they will not be able to afford their taxes on their retirement savings. They will make a bundle. But wherever they buy now, will almost surely eat 1/2 of their sale profit.
$100k is nothing. It can be spent so quickly.
I've been to Maui, Kaui, Big Island, and one other...never Wailea ... stumped on the spelling of the island! lol You live in paradise. Anyone who can afford it is seeking to have their piece. Because it is getting so expensive those who can afford less, are now buying second residences in places like Mexico and Costa Rica. Eventually it will be over priced there too.
I wonder when the babyboomers die off what will happen. After all...they are all retiring now, and many with the purchasing power to buy these expensive properties you mention.
