YANACT write:
I love being able to cure ills with hugs!

I am not looking to jump in to a long term relationship with the first person that seems right. . .I want to find someone who wants to go on an adventure. If that leads to a lifetime journey together, then bring it on. What will be, will be! If it doesn't lead to a lifetime together, then I know I'll make some fun friends along the way!!

Absolutely right attitude to have!!

I'm more like Sex ... oh yes. Hugs ... please. "I do" ..... I'll think about it.

Can you imagine anybody in existence saying, "I do... yes. Hugs ... yes. Sex ....no way?"

Maybe if they were proposed to by .... what were the names .....uh....... decomposedandputrid ..... and I forget the guy's name with the extremely frightening photo of his surplus of gums and teeth and random, erupting zits. Not that I miss them but ... I wonder where they went! Maybe they're wooing Edwina. lol

(For those of you who are newer members ..... these are names and faux-members from the new year.)

But Katie,

My X had a different philosophy. We lived together for a year. But she did warn me if we were not engaged by the end of the year then she was going to move out. She told me the realtionship would not end. I remember her saying "Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?"

Mmmm. Free Milk.

Something somebody said in another thread sparked a memory.

When I was still married, it occurred to me the perfect arrangement would be if a man and a woman each had their own bedroom so they could decorate it and mess it up or tidy it up however they wanted to. Then, when they wanted to rendez-vous .... they'd have either king-sized bed to writhe on. lol
I remember, after my divorce, I used to say, "There is no GOOD reason to get married unless you're religious." I still don't see the advantage of marriage, if it doesn't have the legal or spiritual power to keep two people together, but if I was presented with a very convincing argument in favour of marriage,..... I may reconsider.

Living together is a good idea for me. I don't think a relationship can grow if two people live long distances apart for an extended period. I don't even think it can last if you just live across town.

I'm looking for someone to love, but not necessarily marry. I have a ton of "pen pals" now, but I'm waiting for one of them to "claim me" and decide he wants more than a daily account of how my day went. I want hugs and intimacy. And I want it last week.

The right kind of hug definitely has power. But there are different kinds of hugs. Big bear hugs that make you feel loved, and hugs that make you feel like china...if they hugged too hard you might break. Those are lame hugs, and don't inspire headaches to go away, or wanting to have sex after declaring 'not tonight honey I have a headache'. If anything, after the latter hug, the headache would have just turned to a migraine!!!

I don't know if I mentioned this or not but ...... Men...

According to a recent study ...a man's hug has medicinal properties!

A woman being hugged in the arms of a man will feel the same effects as two X-tra strength Tylenols.

I just realized, if a man tried to initiate sex and his wife said, "not tonight dear, I have a headache," he could start things going anyway, and cure the headache at the same time!

So, you big hunks ..... never underestimate the power of your hugs.
Yummy!
lol

Hey, where is that guy with the fresh tuna, I'M HUNGRY.

All I want is fresh tuna somewhere, far away from the cold night air....oh wouldn't it be love-a-lee, love-a-lee, love-a-lee.

Cat chow for now. Back to the weeds I go, watching. (chuckles)

Sure Real, go ahead and blame the cat. Ever other human bean does. "I didn't leave that wet spot on the carpet Mom, the cat did. I didn't leave the beheaded mouse at the door, the cat did. I didn't leave the furball on the sofa, the cat did." Now you know why we have 9 lives.

Law,

If I had a "boy toy".... I would too!

I'm wondering if many of the men are looking for just a fling tho, with no "I do" in the plan, maybe the hugs, but 100% sex.

The reason I ask is, there are probably women here who are reluctant to get attached, but are highly inspired by an initimate rendez-vous!

I'm always interested in cuddly get-togethers .... but with the same man .... not the whole team. How about you?
