Intellectual Stimulation- to me it means a great conversation with someone. Thinking outside the box. Discussing topics that cover a broad spectrum. Its great when you connect with someone on that level. Its more common these days with more people going to university or travelling the world.

Its when you can discuss things on a level that runs deeper than the superficial...when you feel you are learning something about someone/ something or yourself. It can be a round about conversation spirituality and your meaning of life (these topics rarely come to a conclusion) but none the less can allow you to open your mind! IMO you must first be open in order to be stimulated...but the stimulation will open you up(on another level taking you outside of your self by way of seeing a bit into another)A connection and feeling of security is key to the initial openness and tends to lead to a deeper connection. Those f you who have been stimulated by this will know what I'm on about. Lil

They don't allow that I don't think, and the originators first post would be out of order, but you can start another one, or just pick this one up and go with the original subject again. Starting over with a new thread is cleaner.

My bad, sorry about that. Is there a way to change the title to fun/BS thread?

You are about a year and half late. Go back and read March and April of 05. The thread ran out of gas and turned into a fun/BS type of thread.

Wow, I thought this would be an excellent chat about the importance of intellectual stimulation and how it can be the glue of a relationship, but I find instead an illustration of why intellectual stimulation is so lacking when everything digresses, ultimately, to sex and quibbling. For my part, I think that behind shared goals/values and in synch with mutual physical attraction, intellectual stimulation is one of the most important aspects of a positive relationship.

OH, Bonnie, I do hate to be ignored myself, but you are wrong about the sales if the female model had a ignore button. Would sell billions. Just ask any guy.
    lol

[Rob, we can just ignore Bonnie. She has a typical woman view of what women should be like.

Rob, I think we are going to need a digital keypad. If we have buttons for 1. ready for sex 2. Mute 3. rub my back 4. snuggle, 5. bring drink 6. food, 7. pay the bills, -- and that is really just getting started on the buttons needed. We don't want so many buttons that they cover up other important items.

    lol

    WWW and Robtest,

You men are all alike , you just want a mute doll to fiddle with ..why even install any fancy button at all ..get the usual inflatable with set speech recording ..you just want a plastic brainless Stepford wife ..reminds me of the sort of dolls little girls use to play with, which you guys never did and now want a bit of the same after you are tired of toy soldiers.
Or alternatively, install a mute button for yourselves, press that at your own will and you will hear no evil, speak no evil and just indulge in the 'doing'..

Hey, you are the one who could not decide whether you need a 'mute' button. so now you think you are smarter than God..well I guess if you want a silent existence, then perhaps the monastery is a better option..

I knew we needed a mute button. I just wanted to see if you recognized the problem, and I was also trying to be a little diplomatic and let you think you provided a vital input to the system design.

Now, where do you think we should locate the button for the creators greatest mistake? It has a much higher priority that the mute button.

Perhaps on the forehead for easy access? Depending on the purpose of the #1 mistake switch, perhaps you can get away with a 3 way toggle switch rather than 2 buttons...

Those guys were just novices. I am programming mine with 9 kinds of love alone. You can select 1, or all 9, depending on your mood.

I am still debating with myself about a mute button. I think it will be necessary, don't you?

The fact that you want to install a 'mute' button speaks volumes (pun intended) ...you really don't want a lifesize woman you just want a mute barbie doll, so why even bother with intricate technology!

If love and soulmate could be replaced by a robotic toy at $19.95, you would be a rich man soon and make alot of these people searching for the elusive mate very happy indeed.

so you are substituting virtual reality with artificial intelligence..is this your idea of evolution or human regression to robotic isolation..the emotionless man/woman.?

UGot it all wrong Bonnie. All kinds of good emotions, no bad ones. Iberich soon.

You have been reading too much Asimov. He was a novice.
