Alberto, all that is very interesting but....

when you know God, then you can truly say that you know God!

We are all spiritual beings having an earthly experience. We are all spirit within that body, that spirit continuing on into the heavenly realms upon physical death of the body.
That spirit is part of the Divine Consciousness or the collective whole that we all belong to regardless or colour, creed, race or belief. Without that there is nothing left.
We all go back to Father God, where we started from, nothing more, nothing less. We all go to the place called Heaven, not to sit on clouds playing harps, but to do the work of God in order to help others.

Hi! A Giftfrom heaven, you are as your name implies a true gift from heaven I would love to hear more about your spirituality and about speaking with the deceased I think that is so awesome and I do know there is a God its what gets me through my days everyday! You are an amazing woman and please do not let people like Spoils get to you he obviously is a very unhappy person , people that believe in God and love God do not call others names and are not angry and bitter as we all know this and I do know that these are discussion forums but obviously not everyone understands what fair means so I just wanted to say I do admire you and many of the other intelligent ladies on here.

IB, just for you. 1 Cor.6:9, " Dont you know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Dont deceive yourselves, neither fornicators, nor idolators, nor adultrerers, nor the effieminate, nor abusers of themselves with man(homosexuals), nor theives, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God" Look the word effeminate up in a bible dictionary. It means being womanly or looking womanly. Go by the bible, not your emotions or reasoning.

Oh Alberto!!

How could you?

God exists. That is the be all and end all of life on this earth. What does life mean if God doesn't exist?

I KNOW that God exists. We are alll part of that collective consciousness of souls that belong to the Fatherhood of God. Without that we are nothing.

Faith? No
Belief? No
Knowledge? Yes!

If there is no-one there, Alberto, how do you get through your day?

SP07, you can't "make heaven." There is no quota that you, or any of us others, could ever meet.

Everyone goes to Heaven regardless of colour, creed, race or religion.

It is your spirituality which counts, not the tag that you attach to yourself.

GIFTFROMHELL, First, i did not say one word about any man on here. The one you refer to posted after i did and his was intended to be funny. Second, i am not Jewish so, what you said doesnt apply to me. Third, there is no such person as a Jew. Fourth, the New Testament reasons with men in 1 Cor,Chapter 11 and simply asks the question of, "doesnt nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a shame unto him?" Why, because he will look like a woman and men or women who dress like the other is specifically told they will not make heaven. The bible, not me said that. I am only telling you what it says.

1hotmama,

Nowhere in the Bible does it teach to worship your mother. In fact, all throughout scriptures, it tells us that we should have no others gods before the One God who created us and if we choose to ignore Him, we'll burn in hell (see Romans 3:23 and Romans 6:23).

As far as issues concerning men having long hair this was a law set up in those times to help keep a fine distinction of sexes (1 Cor. 11:14). Women were to keep their hair covered and long and the men were to keep theirs short and uncovered. This was a law that was set up even before Christianity was established. It was a practice of the Jews and so far as I know, still is.

Woman were allowed to speak freely, although if they spoke wrongfully against their husbands or God, they could be stoned (don't quote me on that, I can't remember where I read it but I know it wasn't in the Bible). The only place in the Bible where it mentions that women should be silent was during the church meetings. The reason for this being that talking, from any person, was a distraction and kept others from being focused on the message that was being delivered (1 Cor. 14:34).

You were right on one thing though, women were required to be obedient to the men, unless he was asking her to break one of God's laws (Eph. 5:24). The cool thing about this is, although God commanded the women to serve their husbands, he also commanded the husbands to love the woman more than they loved their own bodies (Eph. 5:28). Wouldn't it be nice if a few more guys in the world adopted that policy? It'd make me want to be obedient to them!

1hotmama, don't worry. After reading all the mudslinging going on in this forum recently, I think I'm just going to sit back and watch for awhile lol. This is getting way too serious I think, and even too much so for me :-D

Just about every war in history was fought over religion in some manner. Religion is a topic that some say should not be debated. I disagree that religion should be discussed but maybe not on a forum like millionairematch. It is easy to get emotional over your beliefs and yes people do take it personally.

Spoil you are wrong re the bible yet again.

Regarding masrogue and his long hair - the OLD TESTAMENT which you usually quote quite vociferously states that both men and women should NOT cut their hair in any way. Why do you think that the Chassidic Jewish community do exactly this? Why do you think that Jewish women - Chassidic - are required NOT to cut their hair, along with Jewish men who still wear part of their hair uncut????? I live near a Chassidic community and know this to be fact.

Spoil, you use the bible to your own advantage, taking this line and that, depending on what suits your purpose at the time.

vahaas (Male , 35)
Great Post. I agree completely!! God is all around us every hour of every day. Miracles are prevelent. A baby being born in itself is so miraculous. Everything happens for a reason is God's plan. I wonder why it is so easy for me to see this and others question everything. We are on this planet for such a short time...what is it going to hurt to believe? Take a chance on God and get into heaven. It certainly beats the alternative.

Why don't you people all go meditate or something!

Believe or not to believe? Look, if you have lived on this planet for any length of time and can't honestly admit that you have seen or experienced some God given miracle in your life then, you need to experience some God given miracle in your life! My faith is impenetrable to the opinions of others. I was once driving sown the road on a beautiful, clear summer day and a tree c. 6' around fell on my car, I drove through the branches as it fell, the trunk missed me by inches. WOW you might say and I did too as I looked in my rear view mirror. Well guess what? The next day in the EXACT SPOT an ambulance fliipped over and hit an oncoming car head on killing three people. this was a lightly traveled road mind you. Anyhow, my point is that, havn't we all experienced something like this in our life that exposes our true POWERLESSNESS over events that can only be explained by a power greater than ourselves, namely GOD?

Is God a she or netural as some would have us believe, neither male or female? God said he would make man, not woman in his image. We know by the first chapter of the bible that angels saw that the women of the earth were "fair" and came down and took wives for themselves. Oh, you mean they have a penis? Must have. That makes them male. Are there female angels? Probably but, none ever mentioned in the bible. Is there a Mrs God? Probably. We just arent told but, we do have the original hebrew and the goddesses are just a myth.In 1 cor.chapter 11, the line of headship is listed. God over Christ, Christ over man. We all understand that but, the rebellious against God has a problem with what it says next, man over woman. Reason? "for adam was first formed then eve".God has always put importance on the first born. Why? I dont know, i just try and do what he says.

REligion has been referred as man's opiate or man's crutches in times of weakness...it has also been the source of wars and strife..discord and peace..since all religion teach a semblance of goodness or at least civic obedience..

And it is also the origins of sexual inequality...anyone wondered if God could be a she? At least in some EAstern religion, there are alot of FEmale goddesses..at least there is acknowledgement that women could be an omnipotent power too...
