1HotMama, you got on this forum, stated that you liked stirring up Christians and that it was fun - didnt you? Your posts are still there where you said that. You made fun of those who believe in God - didnt you? You mocked God - didnt you. You used curse words on many ocassions - didnt you? Most of those got deleted. One is still there to prove that plus, many have seen the lack of respect you have for your own self as a woman and you clearly showed you had no respect for others. If you call that having a sense of humor then, you have a sick sense of it. Had you not made such posts and behaved yourself and acted like a lady and a decent human being toward others, just maybe you wouldnt have gotten attacked.Everyone has a right to their belief. In your case, if you choose to not believe in God, fine but, the right thing for you to do was to not mock others that do believe and you should have never made a post at all since this is a religious form and you are non-religious- should you? But no,you had to act like a bully and try and have fun with the Christians - didnt you? How do you figure that it was "Spoils" fault when you started it by your posts? You just got a reaction and didnt like the reaction and now, it doesnt seem too funny anymore - does it? What about what i have written isnt the truth about yourself?

    Hi there HOTTIE,
As an OB/GYN, I have to correct you on something, it's spelled 'stretch marks'. I don't normally post on these forums, but have been reading them since they started & also used to read the old message board. I felt like I needed to enlighten you a little as your uneducated, misguided naivete was shining through in this post. Apparently you haven't had the pleasure of the abuse dished out by RottenSpoils, but if you post long enough, you will most definitely be on the receiving end. He is very obviously a woman basher and has obviously been so hurt by them in his life, that he borders on psychotic and dangerous. But I guess you didn't research very well, although I know that is more difficult given lots of his abusive posts were removed.

Well, the purpose of my post was because I felt that you were out of line regarding a friend of mine, 1Hotmama. I have to say that anyone that knows her will recognize that your so-called 'research findings' are unfounded and based on the opinion of a person that hasn't obviously had contact with her. You see she is a childhood friend of the woman I am dating, so I have had the pleasure of her company in person and it was a pleasure. Never judge someone until you have walked in their shoes is what my mother used to say. And it is USED TO not "use tio"....must be that poor KY educational system. I am sorry that you obviously had such a miserable & pathetic upbringing.

Speaking of which, although you seem to agree with Rotten that 1HM is 'trash', I have learned that people in glass houses should never throw stones. I see you are from Kentucky & some little Podunk town named Fredonia.....I realize you are probably miserable living in your double-wide, but since I know 1Hotmama owns a beautiful home, I guess the only 'trailer trash' here is you.

I hope others take what you posted as 'trash' as well and ignore it.

Hottie, you're a new name in this forum and yet you speak as if you know Spoil personally. How do you know he's gone? hmm

I deleted many of my posts to Spoil, in an agreement with some other women here to keep the peace and make a truce. But I'll tell you, as aggravating as he was, I felt kinda sorry for him. Maybe Lion was right in his post about Spoil on another religious thread, in that Spoil had some real control issues going on. It must've been very upsetting for him to feel the need to even control the posts that were made to him on these forums, and not totally be able to. It's like a perfectionist who makes themselves sick with worry when everything doesn't run perfectly. Nothing is ever perfect and everyone can't be controlled and made to think the way someone wants them to.

Well Spoil, if you're really still here and just in hiding, I hope you realize that the only behavior you can control is your own. It's not the end of the world.

In 1 Cor. 6 is talking about how Christians, as the administrators of the kingdom under Jesus, will put down all rule that is contradictory to God's. When it speaks of judging angels, it is telling of when we will take place in approving the final destiny of the "bad angels" (aka demons and the sort). I don't think that this verse is meant to give approval to Christians appointing themselves the judges of the human race. God will judge us all and we'll all be punished according to what we've done. Thankfully, God also gave us a "way of escape" when he sent Jesus to die for us.

I applaud that you're standing up for what you believe in, I just didn't particularly like the fact that you were calling people names. No, I'm definately not an advocate for the whole you-don't-hurt-my-feelings-so-I-won't-hurt-yours group of people, but I do think that there is a mature way of dealing with things. There are also some people in this world who it is worthless to fight with. They believe what they want to believe. The facts have been presented and still some have chosen to push them aside so that they can wallow in the muck of this world for the time being. Instead of questioning the important things, they beat around the bush asking useless and aimless questions trying to make up excuses for why they can't or don't believe--all of this because they're heart isn't open to the gospel. You're doing pretty good though (I'm definately not saying that I could do any better).

Spoils! Now seriously there is no excuse for anyone to be rude and mean and spiteful and call others names, no reason whatsoever especially when we are all mature adults or supposed to be, now I saw the movie Passion of the Christ and what they did to him and the way they made him suffer was unbelievable , but what did he say to God, father forgive them they know not what they do, what I am trying to say is that there is nothing we cannot forgive, life is about respecting people and loving one another so that we can be a good example and feel good about ourselves, its simple really . God may be the one that will be the judge of us , but we have no right judging others!

Hellow everyone! I personally wish I had been able to see the spirit world although I know it exists we all come from there my belief anyways............my husband passed away over a year ago and I know that he was around us for a while because of some of the things that had happened and the dreams we have and I love Sylvia Browne she has got to be one of the most amazing people on earth.

No, I do not have a picture of Jesus as a weakling or a coward. However, I do know that Jesus didn't resort to name-calling. Yes, he did call the pharisees hypocrites and sinners--but he didn't do it in a spiteful manner. I don't condone that you've resorted to calling agiftfromheaven things such as agiftfromhell and phoneyballoney. I'm pretty sure that even though Jesus did confront people, he did it in a mature manner.

I can see the spirit world as solidly as I can see anyone standing in front of me here on the earth!!

Once again, I have no need to prove anything to anyone, least of all an objectionable, foul-mouthed, rude, ignorant man like you.

Funnily enough I once did a Sitting for a lady whose communicator was dear Winston Churchill himself - a man whom had been her Father's best friend!

In Jude it says to "contend for the faith.." and I have to admit, you are doing good at that--but you're doing it in an unacceptable manner. When the pharisees attacked Jesus with questions, intending to trap Him, he didn't turn around and quote scripture and then make personal attacks on who they were. He asked them a question in return, causing them to think deeper on what it was that they believed. Please remember, "speak the truth in love" not in hate or anger.

If God wanted us to know "everything" about Him He would do so. He gave us the Bible and our lives. If you look for signs of God, they are all around. There is no absolute proof about anything. He tests our faith here on earth. He knows there will be people that won't believe or don't know what to think. None of us have ever been to heaven so no, we can't prove anything. People can believe the Bible is the Word and I do, but it is not proof enough for everyone. We are all individuals and have the ability to believe or not to believe.

Alberto, all that is very interesting but....

when you know God, then you can truly say that you know God!

We are all spiritual beings having an earthly experience. We are all spirit within that body, that spirit continuing on into the heavenly realms upon physical death of the body.
That spirit is part of the Divine Consciousness or the collective whole that we all belong to regardless or colour, creed, race or belief. Without that there is nothing left.
We all go back to Father God, where we started from, nothing more, nothing less. We all go to the place called Heaven, not to sit on clouds playing harps, but to do the work of God in order to help others.

Hi! A Giftfrom heaven, you are as your name implies a true gift from heaven I would love to hear more about your spirituality and about speaking with the deceased I think that is so awesome and I do know there is a God its what gets me through my days everyday! You are an amazing woman and please do not let people like Spoils get to you he obviously is a very unhappy person , people that believe in God and love God do not call others names and are not angry and bitter as we all know this and I do know that these are discussion forums but obviously not everyone understands what fair means so I just wanted to say I do admire you and many of the other intelligent ladies on here.

    Oh Alberto!!

    How could you?

God exists. That is the be all and end all of life on this earth. What does life mean if God doesn't exist?

I KNOW that God exists. We are alll part of that collective consciousness of souls that belong to the Fatherhood of God. Without that we are nothing.

    Faith? No
    Belief? No
    Knowledge? Yes!

If there is no-one there, Alberto, how do you get through your day?

SP07, you can't "make heaven." There is no quota that you, or any of us others, could ever meet.
  • View author's info Posted on Feb 17, 2005 at 05:38 AM

I really don't think, God is going to over look all the good a man has done in their live to kick him out for not meeting the dress code!

    Think about it???
  • View author's info Posted on Feb 17, 2005 at 05:31 AM

Everyone goes to Heaven regardless of colour, creed, race or religion.

It is your spirituality which counts, not the tag that you attach to yourself.

Nowhere in the Bible does it teach to worship your mother. In fact, all throughout scriptures, it tells us that we should have no others gods before the One God who created us and if we choose to ignore Him, we'll burn in hell (see Romans 3:23 and Romans 6:23).

As far as issues concerning men having long hair this was a law set up in those times to help keep a fine distinction of sexes (1 Cor. 11:14). Women were to keep their hair covered and long and the men were to keep theirs short and uncovered. This was a law that was set up even before Christianity was established. It was a practice of the Jews and so far as I know, still is.

Woman were allowed to speak freely, although if they spoke wrongfully against their husbands or God, they could be stoned (don't quote me on that, I can't remember where I read it but I know it wasn't in the Bible). The only place in the Bible where it mentions that women should be silent was during the church meetings. The reason for this being that talking, from any person, was a distraction and kept others from being focused on the message that was being delivered (1 Cor. 14:34).

You were right on one thing though, women were required to be obedient to the men, unless he was asking her to break one of God's laws (Eph. 5:24). The cool thing about this is, although God commanded the women to serve their husbands, he also commanded the husbands to love the woman more than they loved their own bodies (Eph. 5:28). Wouldn't it be nice if a few more guys in the world adopted that policy? It'd make me want to be obedient to them!

1hotmama, don't worry. After reading all the mudslinging going on in this forum recently, I think I'm just going to sit back and watch for awhile lol. This is getting way too serious I think, and even too much so for me :-D
