Good posts Sween & Wellheeled. I have spoken to men in their upper 40's who had all gone through the period of wanting the younger latter 20's to early 30's lady, only to find they had nothing in common. Yes hot bodies, but not all. I think many women in their 40's have gone through a period of searching their inner self to determine who they are, what are their needs, what do they want out of the remainder of their life?
And yes, like men, we have also gained valuable knowledge from life's experiences...hopefully they were positive ones! :-)

thanks sharp,im sure you have more than your share of younger men saying that to you also, wink.

You hit the nail right on the head, Sween. Many of the younger ones chase me and I have spent time with some. It's just that I find I have so little in common with them that even basic conversation is a monumental task. I like dialogue with one with whom I spend time, not a monologue. I find myself drawn more and more to those 30 and above who are attractive, take care of themselves and have had life experiences that give them a perspective which others are able to see, understand and discuss. And by the way Sween, as I'm sure you know, there are a bunch of women in their 30s and 40s who have lovely bodies and are fully aware of ways to enjoy them. I find myself much more interested in women in the post 20s age range nowadays.

very well put, i agree wholeheartedly. Although its an ego boost,we really cant take 20 yr olds seriously, even for well you know.

Women are like good wine , they keep well with time. Also like vintage cars , they are prized collectors' items ..and with TLC they get better with the years.

So about time you guys hitting middle age look at the same age range , after all they would know and share the same experiences, from Woodstock to Beatles. And women in the mature age range would understand when your engine fails to perform and sympathise with all the anxieties that you go through when you have your male menopause or midlife crisis, we will be there to hold your hands...lol
