While I certainly respect your opinion, I would have to totally disagree. There is nothing anti-G_D about conversing with your angels or spirit guides. Merely a lack of education and experience builds disbelief. I am a Christian to the bone. There are people of ill will everywhere. I've met numerous people in church that didn't practice what they led others to believe they were about. If you cast too wide a net you pull in those you fear the most and condemn those innocent.
Although I am not that knowledged in astrology perse, I am very much into the metaphysical/paranormal realm. My belief system is pagan but combines devotion to various saints from the catholic religion, ancient egyptian religion and deity panthenon and some celt. Do follow the moon phases and have an immense respect for the spirit realm.
As to life, I am Crone and freely offer my knowledge to younger members who have questions. After all, what is knowledge if you keep it bottled to yourself and share with no one...it is wasted.
I was wondering if anyone here would actually admit belief in spirit and the metaphysical world and glad to have found some! Just reading a wonderful book regarding string theory, "The Search for Superstrings, Symmetry, and the Theory of Everything" by John Gribbin. ;) I am also a proud member of CreepyHollows Paranormal Investigators team and am planning to do a springtime visit to Eastern State Penitentiary in Philly. Instead of using techniques that the shows on tv use, my technique will be based upon respect of spirit and more honey than vinegar...and with a lot less of the gadgets simply because they cost a small fortune, lol. hehe, I recently purchased many reports from astrology (all kinds), fengshui, telepath and psychic. The stack of report is probably a regular size dictionary thick. I enjoy reading them.
I even have a pendium, but I have some material of dowing, but it all seem very difficult to read or to follow...
And I dont' know if I have psyhic abilities... there was once upon a time where I dreamed about the same person for at least three years. That person was a classmate, but he didnt' exist in my mine even though we always enter competition in math together. Then one day I recognize it was him. And we become friends and till 2 years later I still dream about him.

Another time. My voices will mention some names that I might not know at that time but later recongize they are what the voice mean.
Another time, I was woke up in a dream saying that I shan't date a person I was in love with, that I will have a son with another person in the future.
Another time, I saw myself in dream, and the person walked pass me asked me to find the date of death... well from astrology reports that i read, I have life up to age 79 :)
Another time I was sober at the door of my room and I was lifted up a bit off ground and laid flat with my butt on ground. Twice in a row...No idea where that source of power of lifting come from.
Another time in my dream, it look like I visited hell in my dream. My skull was in dirt being dragged with mouth keep coming into my mouth and I can feel it.
One night while I was sober, I sense that someone is holding my ankle with their hands, but I see no one around my bed. Creepy...

Well, I think there is 'something' to it. My own astrological profile is fairly accurate with regard to my personality. A composite partner chart of my last relationship is something I really wished I had had in hand before I dated him. Hindsight being 20/20, it was very telling, although there were some errors in omission that would not have been revealed in the chart. I do not believe that we have the ability to foretell precise events by this means and I don't give an ounce of credence to daily horoscopes and the like, but for a basis of understanding personality and relationship dynamics, I find astrology very useful. I think the fact that both my sons and both my brothers are Leos and here I am Aquarian means that I really had some life lessons to learn from my polar opposite.

Let's get on some challenging issue, not as obvious as best match of Aries and Libra. Give me some ground to think, please!
Based on the language you used you do not know the difference between planets and stars. All of the astrological signs are based on the planets, which are different in their make-up their orbits and their pull within the galaxy than stars. Strage thing you can see the southern cross in the southern hemisphere and the big dipper in the north but the stars in between the planets are vastly different in each hemisphere but all planets can be seen in both hemispheres. Thing that add substance to the facts not the sylogisitic logig of because there are billions of stars therfore all stars are the same.
Rember Carl Sagan and that show on PBS, Cosmos. Remember how he used to say Biiiiiiilons, and Biiiiiiilions. He was talking about stars. There are Biiiiilions of stars in the Milky way Galaxy, there are Biiiiillions of Galxies. There are 12 signs in the zodiac, how many stars per sign, 20?? Lets say there are 50 stars per sign. that means there are 600 stars in the zodiac. What about the trillions of other stars that are left out. Don't they count for anything? What about black holes, and all the other stuff they did not know about when they made up astrology. What about the moons that are going around the planets like Jupiter they did not know about, what about the planets they did not know about. What about the fact that at the time they made up astrologhy they thought that the earth was flat and the universe revolved around the moon.
Mercury retrogade??? They thought that Mercury stopped moving accross the sky in one direction, changed directions for what 2 or 3 weeks, stopped again and went back in another direction. We are talking about a planet that weighs unimaginable TRILLIONS AND TRILLIONS of tons, travelling at thousands of miles an hour JUST STOPPING in the sky, changig directions for a few weeks, stopping again and going back on it's merry way.

REally, what is the difference? In both cases she would be judging me based upon pre-concieved notions that have nothing to do with who I truly am.
Having said all that, I do realize that it is a hard life, and we all need something to believe and something to hold on to, something to help make things make sense.
But really. Stars are celestial bodies that are so far away that it takes thousands, even millions of years just for their light to get to earth.
So the notion that they could have any influence on our behaviour or our lives is just laughable.
How about this, stop worrying about and trying to predict the future, live in the present. Stop judging other people on anything other than their actions, and just love.
I am new to this site, but I found this topic to be of a great interest...having watched many programs on t.v. on experiences people have had with angels was quite interesting...I have a tattoo of a sleeping fairy across my lower back...may not be an angel but to me it still represents the mystical and beauty they uphold....

It is about time for one of the most beautiful full moons here in the mountains called the Harvest moon. It is scheduled to be full here at 2:02 a.m. at 25 degrees in Pisces. Since Piscean energy has to do with the conection of conflicting currents of emotion and hidden depths (hence the two fishes) , this full moon can be a very strong emotional full moon for some. A sense of mysticism evokes with this full moon as well, romantic creativity, nostalgia will be at the forefront. I wish I had those odds on the slots!...even scientifically speaking that is well beyond the two standard deviations to prove significance if "believing " were to be the variable measured just based on this sample population...that's a lot of people swirling in what you call a "fog"...it seems only your path of enlightenment is there... but maybe the next lifetime you will come back and allow yourself to see...I'd even take a wild guess and say you might be an unevovled Sagittarius?...takes no meaning as to where the arrow is shot...as I see that your arrow is even reused by posting your very first rebuttal once again...One who does not use discernment in choices and actions may prove to be gullible..but trust also opens to vulnerability as one can choose to either lock out by refusing to trust, or can take the risk for change... in just "believing" in something beyond the ordinary and that others are not the same despite one's experiences..Let's be thankful there are some who believed... as when "Gabriel" (an Angel dear Mr. Robotics) came before Mary to let her know she was with child, and the wise men followed.... a "Star" to the manger...not just through astronomy but through faith of what that light represented in the heavens above...
