I created a profile here last year, albeit, a simple one. After posting it I felt bad and eventually cancelled it.

And recently, after much thought, I posed myself a question. Why hide the fact that I am who I am and have what I have. I'm young, attractive, smart, well educated, funny.... and wealthy.

Why hide? Maybe for fear of attracting the wrong "type of person". Or just maybe attracting the type of person who is looking for a few of the qualites that wealthy and powerful people command. Because, there is a difference. On one hand, you have the people who seek to become wealthy and powerful; and on the other, the people who seek the qualities that these people exhibit.

hey... I agree with you. As far as the embarrassment, I think it is even more so for a woman than a man. It connotates some form of fee for service or other unsavory characteristic. Then there are the people who are honest sincere, and truly seek those qualities in a man, other than the guys who otherwise can't even speak in complete sentences (ha).

I'm sure there is somebody here who would absolutely love to meet me.

But it feels like finding a needle in a haystack, pourqoi?
