I am so glad you posted that site, romancescams. I just checked it out and found the pic of the first man who sent me a wink on MM. I thought it was pretty odd...He wrote me a love letter and talked about a future together no matter the distance...yada, yada...But all I had done was thank him for the wink. Since I don't respond well to proclamations of undying love from strangers, the contact ended right there. And now I checked the site and his pic is there. I'm not surprised, though. I think everyone should know about this site. These scammers wouldn't be still trying if they weren't being successful, at least some of the time. It's easy to find you just google romance scams.
Haven049 write: Well, I am definitely looking into this , what is it called "sugar daddy" thing just to find out some information. Stay tuned, but i am sure it is no good.
Here is a warning notice that is posted on another site, since so many are stating how there are a lot of married men on here who lie about it, etc. Interesting and a site I definitely took time to join! But WOW! Talk about a fine! YIKES! Here it is:
WARNING: MARRIED PEOPLE AND CRIMINALS WILL BE PROSECUTED
If you are married and representing yourself as single, or if you are a convicted criminal, be aware that you could be guilty of fraud and subject to civil and criminal penalties under U.S. federal and state law. For example, Title 18, Section 1343 of the U.S. Code authorizes fines of up to $250,000 and jail sentences of up to five years for each offense. TRUE reserves the right to report violators to appropriate law enforcement authorities and seek prosecution or civil redress to the fullest extent of the law. If you are married or a convicted criminal, please close your browser.
Crazybeautiful...Willprt on SD site...that's too funny. Interesting, but Willprt hasn't been around lately. No loss.
I've just recently heard about his SugarDaddy site. Don't think I'll check it out.
Queen...interesting story...sorry you got hurt. I receive many winks, sometimes an email from guys overseas and I pay them no mind. I never reply to their emails. I do not trust them, so would not give them the time of day. Reading your story reaffirms why.
I have been here a few weeks now and have a better idea of the differences in the two sites. Millionaire Match has a MUCH better quality of both men and women. At Sugar Daddy many of the members where looking for quickies and weekend entertainment. Or a Mistress, which is often a Sugar Baby. This is fine if that is what you are looking for. There were a few there looking for a life partner...but most of the people there were not. I did meet some great people while a member there but after my experience with my scammer I decided to look around and found this site. I am now a preferred member here. There is no comparison between the two sites. I wish there was a chat here like the one at Sugar Daddy where we could all talk together instead of the one on ones that are now called the chat.
I have also learned that the scammers are everywhere. Especially on the Match and Eharmony sites. There is no escaping them unless you know that they are out there. Look up the forum topic "Stuck in Africa Scams" and you will see more information. The best place to go is called RomanceScams you can google that.

=( That is so sad! My heart goes out to you! And many are looking to prey on anyone these days. Men and women alike. If you go to the FBI website, they do have a list of these kinds of scams and different types of things they state in their emails that lead up to this. You can also call your local office and they can inform you of them that way and answer any questions you have. Some are actually terrorists looking for a way into other countries or to get funding without the governments finding out since they are monitored now. I learned this from a friend who has been in the bureau for many years but who said I should at least try and that there would probably be more intellectual and educated people here then what is available in the area. He gave me all the information, showed me the types of things they write and say through IM's and emails and what things to red flag, as well as tips for safe online exploration. I can't ever thank him enough. They also hope that people who encounter these will submit these profiles and the website they are on to them. By doing so, they can locate the location of the person(s) via IP address that can be obtained through the site owner and a court order for it that only takes seconds to get. It greatly helps stop these scams and forms of terrorist funding. Many older women are number one victims because of age, lack of partners and vulnerability. So it's worth reporting! But I was told to report to the FBI before the site and they would report it to the site, so as not to get the person spooked or site slip up and alert them before they can. Worth noting and thinking about!
Hello everyone. I joined Sugardaddyforme to meet a man who would be comfortable with my success and heard about the site from the Montel show. So I went in looking for my "soul mate". I had many replies from very nice, quality men, which surprised me. He seemed very intelligent and could communicate very well.(he speaks 4 languages) He was in the Gold Trades. Second generation. He wanted me to go into buisness with him. Like me he had not been in a relationship for some time while focusing on is career. It was like he had stepped out of my dreams and into my reality. I left for a trip to Europe and he left for a business trip to Africa. I can hear the laughter now from some of you...Since than he was robbed, and now is short on cash, he says he needs more money for the insurance to ship the gold and that since the robbery all his credit has been suspended and he does not have access to more funds...and it kills me to know that this person is probably not who I thought. The sad part is that I fell so deeply in love with him. Never thought I could fall in love without meeting a person. But now I know...So many scammers at Sugardaddyforme from Africa and other countries. And if they are like this man they are very good at playing the game. I learned much from my time at Sugardaddy. I found that there are many men out there looking for successful, powerful, women who have experience in life. These men are looking for quality women and go to sites like this to find them. And yes, some are looking for sex only, but other are looking for love. And so I will continue my search for the man of my dreams here.
May we all have luck and find what we are looking for in our search

No fair screening the applicants first, there wont be anyone left for us to choose from LOL.
I stumbled on the site after checking my e-mail one night. I found it highly entertaining. In fact shared the site with my female friends and everyone had a good laugh. I have a warped sense of humor having seen just about everything there is to see on the seamier side of life. I laughed through Nicholas Cage in "Bringing out the Dead", I went with a friend and her daughter and our kids thought we were nuts. Sugardaddy had the same effect. I make more money than most men and believe me, there is more to life than how much money a man makes. I did appreciate a few men on the site who appeared to be fairly honest about what they were looking for. I did briefly consider one request for a dominant female. I thought leather and a whip might be a fair trade for someone to lick my bathroom floor clean as I am not at all domestic and it would be cheaper than hiring a housekeeper.

LOL Sad day that some guys think that women really want a sugardaddy especially in this day and age that artificial sweeteners are popular Just a little humor to brighten up the day of the person reading my chicken scratch. Smile sweet ones
You are not missing anything. The site however have some very beautiful young ladies on there. A man can also join to find his "sugarmomma". The site is exactly what it suggests but there are men on their looking for a meaningful traditional relationship. The site is widely publicized. I heard about it on quite a few television programs. That could be because there are a lot of men in the movie and television industry. MTV is currently casting a show for sugardaddies and their sugaebabes. The premise is basically.."Is a Sugardaddy" all that he say he is. I can't wait to see it.
Being on there or being a member has nothing to do with "self-respect". It is there for your enjoyment. I have met some wonderful people on there as well, both men and female.
It is always good to keep your options open.
