I would have to say Jamaica had a LOT more women than men, at least when I went. My friend went to Belize and they definately out number with women. I also hear St. Lucia is a good one as well.
A local singles group in your area. Its cheap for guys and there are lots of ladies there. I have been to a rather large singles group here in Orange County CA at a mega church. Another is Parents without partners nation wide. Or just go to the local tanning salon or coffee shop and just hang out there.

It seems to me the singles I've met who have gone to the Club Med...they all met alot of singles, but all these singles were just there for FUN! NOT to meet a potential partner. So you meet a single while there, have fun, and never see them again. That is my perception from what I've heard. So is Club Med really a great place to meet singles? Maybe if you are just looking for a week of fun and nothing more substantial.
Sharp1,
I have been to the Club Med, I don't agree with your friends assessment...some very meaningful relationship have come out of these outings...my friends were there also and they have met ladies they got involved with after there original holidsys...maybe your friends were not looking for anything serious neither..maybe why they had such an opinion.
Have to agree with you Club Med is good and everywhere..

It's been my experience that most resorts are mostly couples, excluding the usual spring break kids, that is.
Couple of ideas, though:
1. I have gone with my sister to her sales trips as her guest. Is there a way to find out what groups are going to be there during your planned vacation?
2. Consider the demographics of the locale and go outside the resort to meet more single women.
