The biggest lie men tell about themselves is the same one that women tell about themselves: how nice they are.

There is almost no one in the world that admits how much of a douchebag they are.   The truly huge SOB's and DOB's think they are just being a realist.  The nice people always think they are nicer than they really are.

And the nicest people in the world always thinks they are just average.

So everyone lies about this aspect of our personality.

Quoting MizzSunShineHere:

For the majority of men Ive met, they tell me their interested in having a relationship but after a few months of dating they tell you they are afraid of commitment!??? SMH! They have no clue to what they want or are just to afraid to say I'm just NOT that into you".

Totally agree with this!  Also from the start it's probably height lol.  I normally take an inch off when looking at profiles ;)

There are so many lies, where do you start.

1. age ( I may stretch the truth there as well)

2. income

3. Profession

4. Marital status

5. criminal history

6. Kids

7. Other relationships

8. his possessions

I am sure there are other lies men share about themselves, I just can't think of the others at this time.

I think that greatly depends on what his biggest insecurity is.  For example, his height.  Then its a safe bet that man would focus on that. Obviously its difficult to pinpoint exaclty what all men lie about due to the large number of variables  involved with each individual.

So many lie about their age when we can clearly see that they are much older. Marital status

of course in another fib, they lie about their income, education, some even state that they are

"good looking"  when there are clearly challenges, ( that may not be a lie, if that is how he sees himself).

The bottom line is that whatever reason men lie, there is a motive for it, at least I think so.

Men lie about their height. It's not a huge deal, but they all do. An inch or two, or sometimes more, but they all think they are taller than they are. Lol.
