interesting...feels like "men like younger women" is becoming somewgat an old saying...replaced by "older women like younger men"...its no longer as taboo..as many celebrity women have broken that and as we live in a more individualistic society..our pleasurable and egodriven choices can many times top natural flow...just as a lady here mentioned...men might seek younger women due to the fact that men are fertile longer than women hence they can wait longer to have a child and naturally it has to be a younger woman..ie natural selection...
I must say I have dated men only older then me. My ex husband was 2 years older while the oldest I ever dated was 13 years older. I found that in some ways my ex is more mature and in other ways the older gentleman was more mature. I did notice the older gentleman looked at me as if were the same age. Over all i did enjoy the drama free attitude of the older gentleman.
I think its more of what qualities your willing to deal with at that particular point in your life. And yes folks they change as we do when we get older, there is nothing wrong with this it is part of our psychological makeup.

It seems to me based on this study an important question would be whether you are in a long term relationship. However, it has been my experience that both men and women have commitment issues, regardless of the status of their relationship.
At the end of the day the best we could hope for is that a person means what they say and has earned our trust. Our hearts should remain open to the possibility of finding someone deserving of our love.
It could have something to do with biology. Men may look for more fertile women.
You could probably conduct scientific research on the impact of natural selection on males and females. The research will probably show findings of majority of men choosing younger females or females within a certain age range. It may also show measurements, human scent and appearance somehow play a role in attractiveness and fertility. Younger women may perhaps more closely fit the criteria as being more fertile.

I think you hit the nail on the head. My last relationship (A senior VP with a global company, engineering and MBA) stated that he sometimes feels dumb around me. I was shocked, thought he had more self esteem than that! Didn't help that his company stock went down considerably three days after I told he was being greedy and should have sold it on the day of it's 52 week high ;-)
Actually....in fact to me age is a thing of number,I'm more comfortable dating older woman than my age...they are more matured and well experienced.
Younger one's seems to have this complication of what they really want in life....they are not well relaxed yet...they always want to do many things at the same time!!!

I'd date younger or older women. It depends on the woman. Some are so beautiful, some so charming, and other so graceful that the age is irrelavent. It is more about attitude, intelligence, and sexiness. With that said, men are visual creatures. So, I imgaine younger women have an advantage in that respect, but I have seen some stunning older women on this site.
I personnally think that narrowing my focus to one certain age group, or one particular eye color, or breast size or a certian hair color is setting myself up for failure. It's the entire package that counts.
I like blue eyes, but if I meet a woman who has green eyes, and I turn away what would be a likely match over her eye color, then I have just defeated myself over something with little relevance.
