    Thanks for your compliments DScoular..
Education has changed my life growing up in the then underdeveloped Colony and it has in less than a generation built my country into a developed independent REpublic.
Like you I too believe that age is and should never be a hindrance to learning.
The brain needs as much exercise as the body. So I would rather have Brain-lift than face-lift, it has a longer shelf life.

If I may speak for the people of the East Coast, we will gladly welcome you two lovely ladies. We always welcome intelligent ladies here. Carnige Melon and Columbia should consider themselves lucky.

I also admire those who revel in furthering their education. I myself possess two graduate degrees and live by the philosophy that the moment you stop learning is the moment you reach your final rest.

Welcome and good luck to both of you.

wow, thanks for your advice , just what I want to know..he has just sat for his SAT but will need to re-sit I think ..he is doing his UK exams now..
I hear you get some of the Hollywood directors on your board, like Lucas..
btw if u want to get in touch and not use this as our private mailing service, Im trailblazer88 at hot-mail . com..
I see what u mean when you are not in campus..I think you might find some great guys here in their 30s..they write to me too..thinking that I might like toyboys..I do date younger men when I was doing my MA..and the ones I meet at the U. are pretty smart , I guess at grad school they are more mature..u will see when u get to CM..
I love West coast it is cold and gray..ever thought of doing an exchange here? I live near BBC and there are lots of film people around and I have had my house used by them as location shoot and often get lots of letters from them wanting to rent it for that purpose..UK film business is more independent..a lot of them do their own thing and that should be the way ..e.g. 'Sideways' recently won so much acclaim and 'Garden State'..hey maybe u should start a 'favourite films' topic here, should go down well..this forum sure needs new blood and young ideas from smart girls like is good to have a more balanced representation of people from all age group, race and color..the sharing of views and opinions , debate and provoking our minds to think beyond our little corner is so important for growth..and sites like this is the perfect platform..lovely to have you on board.I did a minor in Asian together we could add more dimension and about it?

Thanks so much for the compliments! You're such a sweetheart. And you always have some valuable insights to contribute (loved your topics on interracial marriage).

Actually I'm graduating from USC's film school. I majored in cinema-television production. So anything you want to know, just ask.

USC is way better than UCLA!!! (Our rivalry is fierce, lol, but in general USC's film school is the best in the nation)

Alas, I commute to campus, and I've been living on my own for at least two years. It's hard to meet people. I have friends in my neighborhood, and friends on campus.

But as far as dating, I prefer older men because the boys just can't keep up!

As for the weather in Carnegie Mellon, I'm looking forward to the cold. I'm a Chicago native, and I'm done with Los Angeles. Too hot!!! Too sunny! I've been aching for snow. I want to throw snowballs and make snowangels like a little kid.

Yes, graduate school on the East Coast. I'm so excited. Send your son to USC. It's a great school, with an awesome alumni base and the football team and school spirit is unparalleled. The academics are up there too.

You are probably one of the youngest, prettiest and smartest on this should be having fun in USC and later at CM..I will be heading for Columbia in a couple of years too for my Phd.but my son wants to go there and has forbidden me to join him there but since he is going to do films I think I shall encourage him to go to USC or UCLA, I heard USC has a good film school there, is that true? why did you come on here? There should be enough great guys hanging out at the university?

    Thanks Bonnie!

Right now, I'm a graduating senior at USC, and then I'm off to graduate school at Carnegie Mellon University.

It looks like the book topic took off!

I've been MIA for the past few days, sorry about that.

Yes Davey, a link to a cruise or hotel site would be a great idea. Maybe then take off the extra money they are charging the regulars monthly.
Ok I clicked an it just took me back to the starting home page. LOL
    Had to try it!!

I think that is a good idea..a sort of holiday plan for different type of holidays and resorts and whoever wants to could go on the could be a good money spinner for them too..

They could have had it so you click on one of those pictures that keep flashing above & it took you to a booking page for reservations like the cruse ship to book a cruse or the hotel to book a hotel reservation for those who want to met another you know what I mean? I realy fell thats what they should do for us. May be I might be asking to much.
