Hi BigBoz!

Thanks for posting a pic of your garden. Do you have any unaltered shots, it's hard to tell what it really looks like?

Hey Seattle,

Yes I guess the pond area is keyhole shaped, hadn't thought of that.

I really don't know which is my favourite, I love the clematis and wished they could stay in bloom all summer long, but as you say, the seed heads are interesting too.

I love the iris too, they are such delicate, intricate flowers.

As far as Spart goes, he has a preference for lifting his leg on 2 plants unfortunately, one is a yew and the other is a holly. I wished he'd stop doing that!!! lol but he's a dog! Both are slightly undersized even though they both get extra Miracle Grow.

Here's a shot of the iris.

Ready, those are stunningly beautiful pictures! You certainly have a green thumb, and a way with flowers! Thank you for sharing your pictures.

Thanks crazybeautiful!

I don't actually have a green thumb, used to kill every houseplant I had lol! I'm learning all the time, ask a lot of questions and see what happens.

It's my pleasure to share my garden with fellow gardeners.

Here's a pic of Solomon's Seal, very fern-like, lovely delicate creamy white blooms hang underneath each branch.

Hmmmm ... just noticed my pic is gone, so I'll repost it.

Ready, I love your fountain! Is it shaped like a key (new laptop, dubious settings)?

I went through the Master Gardener's program in Seattle a long time ago....to learn organic gardening. That was fascinating and a lot of interaction with the public.

A friend asked me recently what I do when I get stressed, the second answer was I go pull weeds!

Love clematis, too. Their seed heads are nearly as beautiful as their flowers!

What is your favorite plant? And what is Spart's fav?

I read your blog ready..it's a wonder why you would ever leave your backyard. Beautiful!! P.s. I like your new name!!

Thanks BnB!

I do have a hard time leaving it lol! It is so peaceful and tranquil that I'm content to just "be". I had no idea how much I would love gardening, but am very visual and love pretty things, and the sound of the fountain makes me so content. Just wished I could find someone to share it with (sigh).

I got tired of being the 502nd person to come up with the name READY lol. I prefer to be a bit more original than that!

Funny when when I saw the picture with the two white cahirs...I was thinking, one for Barb and the other for the lucky guy who has yet to find you!! He will!! And then you'll really have secrets to keep in that garden of yours..LOL!!

Another type of clematis, not sure which one, but it's white with a very pale lavender edge.
