Trying to remember what I wrote last week... Romance

Why does it take so darn long for MM to post my messages in the forums? Why can't they just scan them quick for cuss words and personal contact info and let them go! What does it matter anyway? We're all adults on here. If we don't like a post, we can complain and THEN they could pull a message off and study it till they're blue in the face. I think MM gets so overwhelmed with posts sometimes that they forget some and NEVER put them up online. What's the point of us contributing to these forums if it's going to take so blasted long to see them up on the board and then get a response days after that? If they're paranoid about the content, they should hire more screeners! But put the comments up quickly before we forget and lose interest! And I think they should stick exclusively to their list - profane, porn, commercial, and personal information should be the only information edited out of a post. This isn't a "proper grammar" forum.
The forums get boring with the same old posts up a couple of nights in a row while our responses are hanging somewhere in screener limbo.
    Tick tock MM!

I must admit also that I was a little disappointed in the time it took to finally post what I had written on another topic. I was quite excited to have finally gotten up the nerve to enter into the conversation and it actually took 5 days for my post to appear! Yes, that is way too long...(Katiegrl, you should check it out....it's under "I'll call you")

I bet if they charged $29.95 a month they would have these updated immediately...oops...I shouldn't have even typed that.

I don't believe you can. I've sent many emails to customer service and they don't seem interested in changing the format. I'm sure other members have complained. You'd think paying customers would be able to effect change, but I guess not. SweetSixteen, we'll just have to wait with frustration until they decide to change something. I'm thinking about setting one up for members to come to. There would be no monitoring, but all of us could at least write to each other immediately and see our responses.

Believe me, I've sent emails requesting a better forum. It would be nice to have a forum set up that 1) allowed us to see who's online, 2) allows for immediate postings and 3) allows for immediate responses. Their reply, "we're thinking about it". Thinking about what? Is it not common sense. For anyone to have to wait 24 hours to see his post and then another 24 hours just to see a rebuttal. Ridiculous. I've thought about setting one up for everyone to use, but I'd probably get banned from the site. And it's so easy to do. And regarding the monitoring; I personally do not care. If someone is continually offensive (meaning extremely crude behavior and not bad advice or rude advice), then they can be reported and removed. Maybe one day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
