I just wanted to introduce myself...

My name is Sharon. I enjoy making new friends, so stop by if you like, I just took the cookies out of the oven and the coffee's on! lol

    See you in the forums!

So how are things going for you, Sharon?
btw, I posted my Carrot Cake recipe on the cooking, recipes thread. Take a look - hopefully no typos in a recipe! - but since you bake, write me if something doesn't look right.

I'm famous for my oatmeal raisin but I make a fine cookie no matter what!

Does anyone else find baking therapeutic?

Reminds me of home and hearth!

Welcome, fun! I too love to bake and agree - it is therapeutic. Personally, I don't enjoy baking cookies as much as other delights. It becomes a bit repetitious for me but I do make them occasionally. I've been told my carrot cake is the best around. Goes well with coffee too! Black for me, please!

    Hi Red!
I also bake many other goodies, but I have to tell you, I have never made a carrot cake, and it's my favorite! Let's trade out!lol
    I'll put another pot on....

I'll post it on the cooking or recipes thread tonight. Get the carrot peeler and shredder out! All I did was take a little from two recipes and I think one of the tricks is to not over spice it. Of course, the best part is lots of really good cream cheese frosting.
