I have only heard of one person who found their sweetheart on MM. Does MM work? I see the same profiles over and over again. Does anyone get asked out? Has anyone found a sweetie here? If so does anyone have any tips on what works?

Thank you one and all for the encouragement. I have participated in the Forums before and have met some really great people. I feel like I know some of you because I have been reading and enjoying your posts for a long time. Forums and blogs are what make this a great site. It just seems like I have been at this dating site stuff forever with only a few emails to show for it. Very few men my age seem interested but younger men (30 & 40 somethings) contact me. On the other hand it is just very hard to meet men at my age. Some time ago a guy did some sort of computation and figured that there was about a 1% chance of finding a sweetie on a dating site.

I know of a couple that came together about a year ago, and still are together. So it must work for some...
By the way, they starting communicating over the forums, and eventually met in person.

If you have a full time job you can now tell people you have 2 full time jobs. I actually had the guts to meet a guy. He was very very rich, very very short, older then he said (about 10 years) a heavy heavy drinker and I could clearly see he had a rage problem. I decided to try this one more time and maybe luck-out. Remember, nothing comes for free-you just haven't gotten the bill yet!

Yes it works, but you have to make it work, it just doesnt happen, you need to sort the Chaff from the grain, ive made many wonderful friends and meet wonderful people. Its worth contributing to the blogs or the forums, that way you spread your fame , well one hopes, shows ones personality
