Lets lighten things up around here and have a pointless discussion!! YAY!! LOL What does everyone eat for brekky? I usually go for Cornflakes with light milk (full cream makes me bloated...yuk), with a banana. (when they arent costing AUD$15 per kilo!, due to that darn cyclone larry!). Sometimes i go with wholemeal toast with peanut butter, and a glass of juice. Once a month or so i cook pancakes. (Patrick loves pancakes). I used to live on poached eggs on wholemeal toast, but i kinda got sick of the cooking at brekky time, so i have them for lunch now if i feel the need. So what does everyone else like?? Does anyone eat dinner for brekky? I used to when i was younger, but now i realise that pizza at 8am is just gross!!

Breakfast?!?!?! You want me to actually EAT in the morning??? hehehe.. okay not something I've been known to do for most of my life. First thing in the morning as soon as the children are at school, it's a large cup of tea. Shortly there after is a small bowl of muesli (I used to do store bought but have switched to a home made mix my personal trainer (also a cardiologist *L*) came up with for me) and yogurt with probiotics added to it, topped with fresh fruit. If I'm still hungry I'll have a slice of multigrain toast with some home made spiced pear jam. On a sunday or saturday there is usually peameal bacon made up for the children and I'll have bacon and tomato sandwhich with a cup of coffee or tea. I never ate breakfasts really until about 2 years ago (expect when I was pregnant *L*) when I met up with my personal trainer (used to date him *L*) and He convinced me on the habit. Now I'll do breaky even if I'm not wanting too. I feel so much better for it too. Dinner for breaky... it's a treat we do once every few months actually with my children.. we have a completely backwards day. Breakfast for dinner too (usually sausages and pancakes *L*) It's great fun for everyone.. and only time when icecream is allowed for breakfast *LOL* Great blog butterfly *grins* keep up the great work. Leigh

For whatever I eat for breakfast at work, it has to be something fairly portable and that can be prepared and consumed within twenty minutes. I usually just end up with some dry cereal and milk, oatmeal, or a cereal bar. On my days off, I'll try to fix myself a "real" breakfast that actually requires cooking, like some corned beef hash and scrambled eggs.

20 oz triple shot cappuccino, everyday. Yum. Flutterby, I really don't care about breakfast, but replied because I really wanted to tell you this...you have pictures of your beautiful little boy up, and that's just dangerous. Truly. If you google information about the FBI's child predator unit, you'd find no end of information about this. I would post links to the articles, but I guess that's against the rules. Child predators are, at a truly alarming rate, using internet dating sites to locate victims. They befriend and gain the trust of the mothers, often over long periods of time, in order to get access to children. Make no mistake about it, psychopaths are extremely gifted and skilled liars, and will take as long as it needs to achieve their crimes. I hate to sound paranoid, but sadly, it's not paranoia but a very real problem. I can see you're very proud of your little man- and should be, he's beautiful. But if there's even one chance in a million that you're risking his safety, or your own, you should take those pictures down. You wouldn't even want some sicko looking at him on the internet. (Sorry, you wanted a pointless and silly discussion, but I just couldn't help acting like a mommy there.) So, back to the original discussion...20 oz triple shot cappuccino. The real breakfast of champions. Heh.

During the week...Always coffee must have coffee..then yogurt layered with fresh fruit...or a good bran cereal with fruit..skim milk always..love milk...weekends...Sundays..I love to have a beautiful brunch...perhaps a Bellini..Mimosa...fruit..Spanish omelet...two pieces of crisp bacon...1 slim piece of whole wheat toast...ice cold skim milk that has just been chilled in the freezer ...for about 5 min..../ this may be substituted with one half bagel/with cream cheese /English muffin/my grandmother's apricot preserves or strawberry preserves..Sometimes I just may have fresh fruit...and a half of a croissant I love fresh fruit.. Daddy would love it when I would come home to the ranch..I would always get up really early and prepare this big southern family breakfast...with steak..sausage ..bacon..and eggs made to order..usually a bowl of scrambled and fried eggs made to order.....cream gravy and biscuits..pastries..toast...fruit..juice ..coffee and milk...he loved this treat and it was always so fun..with everyone sitting around that big table in his kitchen....Deep Sigh here...I miss that soooo much!!!! mmmm mango....uh oh..now I am hungry...must get coffee.....
