This blog and comments apparently dissapeared presumably due to some programming glitch. There seemed to be a lot of interest in this topic so I am reposting this blog. There were some great comments on the last blog, so feel free to repost your thoughts and/or add new ones. Some of my dealbreakers/red flags are smoking, dead-beat dads or very jealous behavior. I'd love to know what both sexes see as deal breakers and red flags. I welcome your input.

Since I am new to online dating, this is a topic of GREAT interest for me.  I would LOVE to know more about these scams.  It is getting easier to spot the liars... why is it they are all "contract" workers out of the US?  Not just Africa...I've had one in Africa and two in the UK.

Any man who asks me what I "pulled down" last year is not getting very far.

A Big Red Flag for me is when first chatting on the phone, the guy asks what I'm wearing and then makes sometimes subtle and sometimes not so subtle hints about phone sex. I've had this happen several times. It's a sure way for me to end the conversation in a heartbeat. Has anyone else come across this?

I listen for my deal breakers,,If he talks constantly about himself, how smart or right he always is...how it's always the ex that has major problems. Big deal breaker, if he appears less than truthful

To me, a deal breaker is a woman with a nasty temper.

Ditto, ditto, ditto. Then there are the one's who start with the sexual propositions before even getting to know you. Yes, I am flattered that you find me attractive physically, but at least PRETEND you like the other parts too!
