Came someone please tell me what the deal is with internet drama?? I don't understand why people can't allow others to be who they are... or aren't for that matter... over the internet!! Why is there such a concern with what some people blog about or what they do in their personal lives ... and then blog about?? I get that if you blog your personal life, you're gonna be subjected to criticisms, but why do people always have to stick they're negative opinions everywhere?? And then to top it off... they'll say that nobody wants to read what that person has written or blah, blah, blah... when in fact, they themselves had to read the whole blog just to reply!! If nobody was REALLY interested... those blogs wouldn't have so many views!! I mean seriously... the internet drama is sooooooooooo high school!!

You've nailed it on the head with the high school comment. Though actually I've known many in high schools who would find such behaviour childish too. In a nut shell it's uncalled for and rather lame. It doesn't belittle the person being jumped on but more shows the other's true character sometimes. Sadly it's very easy to get caught up in the drama before we realise it's happened and back out. Sometimes it's done out of jealousy and one upmanship. Sometimes out of cruel unthoughtfullness (geeze is that even a word?? *L*). Sometimes it is well thought out and intentionally cruel. We tell our children to view people who behave like that as bullies. Well the internet has bullies too. The way I see it is simply like this... one person (or persons) have a lower self esteem (whether they know it or not even) and they feel the only way they can be important and excepted is to belittle and cut down others. It isn't much different off of the internet too if we think about it. Just far more visable on the internet and in such places as this. It does appear to be getting a bit better now though. I personally can't be bothered with such petty childish things. Life is simply too short and people are too important to risk the chance of allienating them. It's far more fun to build people up then tear them down to be honest. By the way.. great shot of you rolling your eyes. Hehehee.. Leigh

Thanks Will. CD- I find that the best way to get rid of people is to ignore them... If people just stop responding to the negativity/people you want to get rid of altogether, then those people won't have anything to reply to with their negativity in return... September- Sorry to see you go. Things have calmed down a lot so perhaps you can rethink your decision... perhaps?

It is getting better because everybody's sick and tired of it. Ironically, most everybody is learning how to communicate and interact with each other whether in a blog or behind "closed doors."

Actually, from what I can tell... it's gotten better. Except that one person continues to post blogs about others being jealous of her. I just don't see why EVERY single blog has to be about that... well, really I do understand.
