Rmac , Im sure the Typhoon had left USA already but as you

said rain and some winds remain .Then its sunny after 2 dys as if nothing happened ..we can only see the falling trees , destroyed houses ...etc ..

The areas where the storm landed won't be okay for some time.  The swollen rivers in the mountains are keeping the flooded areas flooded.

Thank you for your prayers.

Hoping it will be tame by the time it gets to me.  Not just hoping, laying in supplies and keeping track of the track.  We were told to get ready as it was to hit us by Thursday, then this coming Sunday, now maybe Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Coastal areas were told to evacuate.  Now that order has been rescinded.  Low areas in my area were told to evacuate.  I think that order still stands.  I am cautiously optimistic that I live at a high enough elevation so as to be above a flooding risk.  In past have experienced water 12 feet deep in the woods near me.

Have been through four hurricanes since moving out here.  Experienced the worst of one in the 13th floor of a high rise office building.  Safe from floods up there.

@Rmac

Good to hear you are okay. Keep us posted.

Hi rmac ,

Good to know you are just doing fine.

Well , I have been to many things at home. Typhoons, Earthquakes , Floods and Fires ..but I was still young then so I feel

different..now I live in Munich and considered it as the safest city and Im thankful about it .
