I have observed that the MM network offers a wide range of characters akin to the rich tapestry of a garden with a wide variety of flowers producing different fragrances.

Each member that has contacted me came with their pleasant fragrance and flavour.

These are laughter, entertainment and flattery. Others are boldness, overrated promises, insincere ideals and facade. Most fascinating is the use of language, either erotic or loving semantics. I have indulged in each of these spices with an attitude of acceptance. I have learned that anyone the Universe conspires to bring into our lives is for a divine purpose. Nothing happens by accident as each encounter could either bless or teach us a lesson.

I have learned lessons as well as blessings from this site. It has been a journey of hope, faith and sincerity believing that out of this tapestry will evolve the man of my dreams.

Virtues of hope, confidence, courage and optimism are the required ingredients to be on this site.

For a month consecutively, everyday, I had to pick his call with a six hours time difference. 'You are my Queen, even though we are miles apart, you alone can impact my high pole. I can't wait to see you physically'.

Oh, music to my ears as I absorbed such seductive language highly excited that I could provoke such feelings to a stranger that I have not met. When it is night, the day has just begun in Western Africa. Invariably, I had to give up my sleep for my potent love medicine that became my source of joy. Oh, the euphoria of being someone focused attention! Time stood still as I inhale sweet love fragrance and eat its food.

Then another man, by mail. I received love letters that made me sixteen years all over again. It was so ethereal pouring out the most imaginable poetic declarations. I soaked the words, overwhelmed by its effect.

'I am surrendering my heart to you; I take your heart  with all the gentleness, kindness and love that I can hold in my Soul, asking you to do same'. I swooned as my heart fluttered on the depth of his language.

'I am not into online dating, this is my first attempt, and your profile captivated me. I heard that most people here do not disclose their truth (guilty too, I later found out about him), please tell me truthfully everything about you, he emphasised'. I believed him and opened up to a stranger I have never met, and we exchanged photographs.

In less than a week, he insisted that he felt insecure that  other men will be reaching out to me. He demanded that I should shut down my profile. I agreed on the condition he does same. Gradually the passionate letters became scarce, then ceased.

What intrigues me with these contacts are their readiness to proclaim how much in love they are with my personality. They are quick to profess the desired outcome rather than knowing me at a deeper level. If I do not fall in line with their imagination of what love is, 'delete'- 'next'. Of course, with so many Venus in the planet of MM to choose, the Martians prefer to spread their advances across rather than dig deeper. The outcome becomes that the people in this site are confused.

I do know with faith that many people have found love on this site. With confidence and courage, I will find love. The lessons I have gathered so far will empower me to choose with my head rather than my heart. I mean that I will use my intellect to ask questions before parting with my email or telephone number.

Everyone in this network has different intentions. Some view this network through the lens of fun, entertainment, while others view it for the longterm commitment.

Some do not understand what love is, many have been wounded from rejection and have not healed. The emotionally wounded are so eager to jump into a new relationship with their past. Some define love as a heightened feelings of intense passion which could be true for early twenties. A woman in her forties may define love as a commitment where two energies (Masculine and Feminine regardless of gender) come together in a union of compassion and forgiveness for mutual growth. In this context, two complete or fulfilled human beings without neediness support each other to achieve their destinies. Love experienced through this method, becomes spiritual rather than the physical fusion of bodies.

Love could be a triangular model where the spouses are at the base, their belief system (God) is at the apex.

It is through God which is infinite Love that they draw their strength of deep compassion and forgiveness for mutual growth.

I have always attracted men who are smitten by my physical look rather than my content. ('Everybody will want to pluck the beautiful flower, only few people can maintain its blossom, says my father') I observed that I have not projected my values on my profile, so will do henceforth. From the lessons I have learned so far, I will be wary of those who proclaim love so fast. I will ask questions with the intent to understand the person and his level of commitment so that I don't waste my precious time and energy.

As the declaration of love continues, I ask Infinite Intelligence to direct me towards maximising this network to make the most appropriate choice of a mate that supports my destiny.

To all the ladies in search of cupid, I pray that the Universe will conspire to bring your match, then will you see why it never worked with someone else.

Real beauty never dies as it is eternal encompassing the Soul. It is referred as classical beauty because it doesn't go with the latest fashion trend but maintains its peculiar style over generations. Classical beauty radiates the content of the vessel. The body over time will wear and tear, the wrinkles will come out to mar the once perfect finish but the internal beauty of the Soul will transcend beyond the degeneration of the body to be the beauty that surpasses time.

Hi Amin

Thank you for providing me the subject matter of my next article.

'At what point do I trust?' Be yourself.

The past is gone, enjoy the present moment. It is in the present that we find fulfilment.

As we open our hearts to love, we attract same.

Warm Regards

Nicely expressed. It’s unfortunate because honest people actually believe, or like to believe, that others are also honest. At what point do we start trusting ?

Thank you Ami, I am glad you find this article interesting. My intent is to connect with other ladies who are  going through similar experiences. By opening up, they realise that they are not alone.

An excellent and highly intelligent assessment of life in the dating game. Pick the flower rather than let it blossom is a brilliant analogy of mans fallen nature in life in general.

That line,"I will chose with my head rather than with my heart".
