On Messaging or Identifying as a Favorite Non Gold Members.

They see that someone has sent them a message, but they can’t see the message or who did it.  It will cost them (last I looked) 70 bucks to read or find out.

Similarly, it will cost them (last I looked) 70 bucks to know who considers them a favorite.

Everyone else has been adding selfies.  I thought I would add one of me drawn by one of my granddaughters when she was just barely 4 years old.

RMAC ,

In the real sense of the word " portray " , your tallented G-daughter had described you in her drawing ..That is what I was

thinking but I was not sure because the ears are missing ..

Hi Maryclaire,

That is called artistic license.  An artist is allowed to leave out certain details to better capture the spirt of the day or some such.

Any resemblance between me and that drawing would be only that she was doing her best to capture as many details as she could.  Shapes and relative sizes and relationships between them are irrelevant.  An artist must be free to capture the mood and spirit.  Without bragging too much she is pretty good at that.

I trust you know that the boxing competition and the Nile crocodiles are a bit of nonsense in response to Fun's nonsense, a takeoff on an infamous professional boxing match plus an overactive imagination.

Both of my ears and my nose are still attached.  I have never been anywhere close to the Nile or engaged in a boxing competition.

You should also conclude that I have no ears.  Unfortunate accident.  When I was fighting for the collegiate boxing championship.  My opponent got carried away in the spirt of combat and he well uh you understand...

My nose well, that is another story, we were cruising on the Nile and there were these crocodiles and they well uh you understand …

Now that is a selfie I love......real and creative.  No ducklips....big fake boobs.....and you are fully dressed.  A nice addition to the crap load of selfies on the blogs....it will never stop  (sobbing).

Give your grand daughter a hug and tell her she has talent.

I kind of like it myself.  Thank you.

Speed it up? why?

I thought my selfie says enjoy every moment of our life.

I guess you could take that two ways.

My reaction was that life was too short already.  But it would be a lot shorter without a bit more discretion re activities.

Hi RMAC ,

1st I want to say that drawing of your granddaughter is good ,

for a barely 4 yrs. old little girl its a surprise ...she could have

that talent ..

I agree with you what you said about messaging or identifying

as a favorite Non gold members ...as one of it , it doesn't really

matter to me , as my opinion because " Communication is more important to me ...if a male member is really interested  to know me , he will do more than that , like Emails and comments ...

Hi Maryclaire,

She is now 6 year old.  Still drawing.  Her mom persuaded a drawing instructor to allow her to tag along with her older sister and draw whatever was the class lesson for the day.  She loves it.  Her drawings are not as sophisticated as her sisters, but have something that captures your attention.

Re the blog subject, it was "provoked" by receiving a, "someone has named you a favorite." email.
