RECEIVED THIS HOURS AGO..

NOTE: RECEIVED SAME TYPE "LETTERS" ON OTHER SITES, TOO.

I've no clue what they would get out of it, other than collecting information for your identity.

I IGNORE...

PAY ATTENTION TO HOW PEOPLE "SPEAK" WHEN THEY WRITE. IT'S YOUR #1 CLUE TO SPOTTING A SCAMMER.

POWERS THAT BE HERE ARE NOTIFIED!

PS... BRITT DID FIND IT WAS NOT THE GUY IN THIS PROFILE. THE MAN'S EMAIL ACCOUNT HAD BEEN HACKED.. SO NOT ONLY DO THESE THINGS AFFECT OUR LIVES, THEY AFFECT THE LIVES OF THE HACKED INDIVIDUAL AS WELL.

Sorry to bother you but as I was browsing through millionairematch.com and my friend came across your profile as he was actually standing behind me and saw your profile and pic and he begged me to help contact you may be its possible you can reply him directly to his email address since he doesn't have a profile on millionairematch. He said he would be happy to get to know you. Life is about taking chances...So thought why not try and contact him and see if your search might end here. You don't need to reply here if you interested. You can contact him directly on [ EMAL...chrisfox1xxxx a/tl . c o m ] so he could send you his pics and tell you more about him self.

Do take care of your self

P.S.Am a man like Chris too so i am telling you this just because i

Hey Hope,

I'm sorry to hear about your insomnia.  It's a sign of the age and personality type.  High energy women often suffer from this especially when they have a lot of work on their plate.  I know I have in the past....and still do occasionally when my brain gets all jammed up with thoughts/plans/worries.  Most important.....get the TV out of your bedroom.  Do not watch TV before bed.  I used to read a really boring book (not a magazine) to help me sleep...and finally just gave up and didn't worry about it.  I finally figured out I would sleep the next night and no point to stress about it.  Often a wet wash rag over my eyes would help too.  Try not to get stressed about not sleeping.  The problem just snowballs....just accept as one of those things.  My best to you!

PS:  Does anyone know what it means when a man's profile is (Recommended)?

****@HOPING****

My dear Hoping ,

you are always excused .. You are working hard and too much ..

You are not only putting anxiety on yourself but you are also straining your Eyes

which will lead you to weakened Visual capacity ( its proven ,because we have a lot of cases here due to

Computer access ) but you can prevent it by making a break in between just to move the Eyelids .

Focusing is harmful to our Eyes and it happened to me .. I read a lot before even with a dimmed light so and now Im wearing Bifocals ..

Take good care of yourself as well as your Eyes .. See you then .. Have a good night rest ..

This beauty was my introduction to scammers years ago. After a few e-mail's the price of traveling from Surgot Russia to Anchorage came up. To get there quicker bribe money was needed to get visas faster. Not having the thousands needed I started making my little earrings in hopes of a bulk sale to get "my love" into my arms.

I sent pictures of my quest and told "her" they were not real gold or real silver. She didn't catch the not real part and invested months scamming me. I, being the big dumb guy that I am, bought a Russian/English dictionary and would write notes, take pictures and send them to "her". "They" must still be laughing their asses off at how STUPID I was, I know I do from time to time.

I found the Russian Bride Cyber Guide online, in there was the Black List and low and behold was my love. Piss off a fisherman will ya. I told my love that I had a buyer for my jewerly for way more than I though I'd get but it would take a few days to get the money. "she" told me to send her the 10 digit Western Union Check number.

In the few scammers I toyed with myself after this IT IS ALWAYS the 10 digit Western Union Check number. ALL OF THEM.

I strung my love along for a few weeks over the sale. Always a problem on my side. Throw a little kink with a sick twist in there and she agreed with everything. After a period of time I sent the 10 digit Western Union Check number [I never got one but I sent it]. A few days later I'd see that "she" had been e-mailing the heck out of me  :-]

My love, did I type "66", I ment to type "99" and just keep milking them along until one of you tires. I've done that with several and now My Name shows up on Their scammer list and to drop me, LMFAO.

The cyber guide, back then, was seperate from RomanceScam but through the years they have merged to give us the most powerful force we can get to fight scammers.

Scam Baiting can turn dangerous if taken to far so I got out of that. Britt has done such a spot on job keeping them away from me that my winters get boring now, lol.

EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ EVERYTHING on RomanceScam.    imho

By the time the snow melted that year I had somewhere around 600 pair earrings made. That was how determined I was to get her here.

They make BILLIONS off of us!   STILL!

FISHY, you must have been bored to continue the charade...

I just spot them and ignore...

That's what I'm going to make me a great wife again one day..

Good evening all!

Oh...by the way..whilst trying to access the blog I accidently hit a couple of your photos (which led to your profiles). Not spying,,,,just not able to multi-task (phone in one hand..bulgogi and chopsticks in the other...(I told ya'll I'm a foodie...smile))

HI DOLCE!

I look at everyone's profiles eventually. In fact, I try to look BEFORE I ever post a comment. However, I have been busy and been a little lax on this.

Be sure to share your experience if you have had any "scammers" trying to scam you.

So many are left unaware and vulnerable to victimization.

HOPE YOU ARE DOING WELL!!!

Help me understand this, they hack some victim and get his email address?   Then get you to email your information to that person?

Not sure how that does the hacker any good.  Not nice for sure, but to what benefit?

Or, is it that they just use his identity so he takes the blame, but give you their email address so they get the information directly?

Should we be suspicious of profiles where the author is a friend as in, “I am writing this profile for my friend xxxx as he/she is too (computer illiterate, scared, shy, language disabled, old fashioned, etc.) to do it?”

SADLY MAC----

YOU ARE RIGHT ON TARGET....

YES, EVERYONE...

PAY ATTENTION!!!

Should someone write you as RMAC has said, etc...

TURN THEM IN TO THE DATE SITE YOU ARE ON...

I have recevied emails from men just as that.... (not this site)

I do not correspond with these men, so I do not know what they are seeking, but I will research it and see what I come up with. Your thoughts appear DEAD ON...

Hmmm.... Might need to dig in my email and find some examples for the ladies..

I wonder if any men have their "Russian fakers" emails to share.

Incredible the amount of time and energy some spendon trying to hurt and scam others..

Gives an entirely new meaning to "LOW-LIFE SCUM."

DAK , You made a factual explanation and gathered experiences with people , thats why we can't make stereo type evaluation and assesment ..that means we can't judge people according to their race and color , because our environmental factors counts a lot , to where and how we grew up ..

Im glad and proud of you that you found it out which is not common to people who are judgmental and no experiences to deal with people from all walks of life ...Keep it up ..

****@FISHY****

Im sorry about your bad experience in dating as a bait ..Well , I think that was good as negative experience ..but as far as the scammers are concerned their tactics have changed ...I remember the year 2009 to the following years there were a lot

of " killing reports " in Europe as well as International ..

Fishy , beware of Russian women on a special site ..Last year there was a report about the scammers using women as a bait ..they infiltrated Emails and trying to convince one to deal with them .. Last month there was a live report about German women who got scammed by " The GHANA SCAMMERS " , they used the same tactic just like what HOPING had published ..The " NIGERIAN SCAMMERS " are still operating ...

Thanks anyway for mentioning last year the " ROMANCESCAM.COM ..for the initial months I got only some

report so I decided to solicit for 3 mos. by then I can get the whole report ...Email address is enough to get a full report ..

There are sooooo many scammers out there.  The one that says he wants to hook you up with an Uncle, friend or whatever has been around many years.   Thank God you are a smart cookie and picked up on it.   I get about one of these a month.....scumbags.

Scammers are getting smarter every year so be aware!!!   Their english is still bad but they are getting good at copy and paste.   I (myself) like to f&*k with them because they really piss me off and give Britt and good, funny story.  As long as we turn in these scumbags maybe they will realize this site takes crap seriously.   I like that (this site) removes them quickly and blocks the AP address.  Stay safe my friends.

Good evening!

Thanks Hope for sharing.

It's really a shame when there really are some interested and interesting people online who truly want to connect. Unfortunately all it takes is one trusting soul to fall prey then have their hopes crushed.

I've learned to spot them easily.

A friend fell prey to one.  I tried to warn her but her heart got so wrapped up in the romance and attention. That was until he asked for money. Reality set in and she sent him packing..smile

Remain blessed!

HI DOLCE!

I missed this!

You know, DOLCE.. It is truly sad that people are so nasty. I do not understand what makes people such a lover of hate.  :(((((

Glad your GF came to her senses before it was too late!! I guess they find people who are so vulnerable and desperate for love and attention and some fall for it so much they send them money. Jeez... sure seems like a lot of effort to go through for money..

I hate to say it but I hope your GF was "hurt enough" she learned her lesson not to believe what sounds too good to be true.

Have a wonderful week!!

Good to see you! ;))))

Such great advice and much appreciated. I love the community here with sharp people who know what is happening.

FLPETITE---

Of ALL people I have seen here lately, I truly hope YOU receive what those of us who are highly schooled at being online and single are trying to say.

PETITE--- here's the deal...

You haven't dated online long enough to be doling out all the advice you do. ONLINE DATING IS NOT THE SAME!! IT IS WAY EASIER TO GET HURT!!! PEOPLE CAN BE FRAUDULENT BEHIND A COMPUTER EASIER!!!

There is a reason "experience is our finest teacher." We have seen it and been around it for years. You would be amazed at the stories we have seen and heard. With your naivety, it would boggle you. And with your lack of experience, I cannot implore more for you to PLEASE LISTEN TO US! I am sooo happy to see we are making progress with you! (((((HUGS)))))

What might you be good at blogging about?

Well, you said previously you were new to being single and have been in a relationship all your adulthood.

What's your longest relationship? 30 years? What did you do right? And what did you do wrong? Surely you know now where it started going south. What do you miss most? That would be good advice for others and a good reminder to you on what not to do or what to do, next time.

Do you cook? Share that with us! We love food! AND WINE!! WINE IS GREAT!!! LoL...

Hobbies?

It is so nice to see you participating WITH us, and not AT us!!

I'm excited!! This is good news! ;)))))

See, I knew there was HOPE for you, yet! HA!!

Have a great day~~~

The sites to learn about scammers is called RomanceScam. One is a com, one is org. ARM yourselves AND help your friends and others.

Here is the opening page from the com:

No matter how good they sound, things aren't what they appear to be. In reality you're talking to a criminal sitting in a cybercafé with a well-rehearsed script he's used many times before. He's hunting through chat rooms, dating sites and social networking sites searching for victims, looking to cash in on romance. If you are over 40, recently divorced, a widow, elderly or disabled then all the better in his eyes. Scammers use any weakness they find to their advantage.

It's the newest evolution of the Nigerian advance fee (419) scam. Instead of sending spam letters that promise millions for your assistance, these scammers are targeting single men and women who are searching for love online.

They use psychological tricks to lure their victims in, use poetry and even gifts to get them under their spell, and then once you are there, will try to reach for your wallet, all the time declaring their "undying love" for you. The scam may take the form of asking you to cash a check for them through your bank account because they are "out of the country" and unable to cash it themselves, or they may come right out and ask you to send money to help them out of a fabricated "financial difficulty" they claim to be experiencing. These are all lies used to try to make them easy money from an unsuspecting victim.

The sad truth is, for every real profile you see on the internet, there are numerous false ones pretending to be your perfect mate and using photographs stolen from modelling or social networking sites. The people in the photographs are as much victims as those who get scammed for hundreds or thousands dollars. Internet romance scams and other related crimes are affecting and ruining lives throughout the world.

The best weapon against this crime is education. The more people that are educated in the way the scams work, the harder it is for the scammers to make money and the more scammers that can be put out of business.

Romancescam[edit] was formed in 2005, originally as a site to add the details of any scammers who tried to join the datingnmore[edit] site. As the list grew, more sections were added to make the site what it is today - one of the largest online resource against romance scammers from around the world. It has gained media attention worldwide, and has been featured on an episode of the Oprah show, UK's Tonight with Trevor McDonald and recently on the Dr.Phil show.

Spread the word. I saved a good friend THOUSANDS because of this site. Good Luck
