I also want to know the secret to find the one and only, but i think only time will tell......about the secret. Everything happens at the right time.

Timing is everything. If it's meant to happen it will, at the right time for the right reasons.

Hey Flagent,

Women get their share of fakes, scams, and gold diggers too, and sometimes it seems like we are looking for a needle in a haystack.  Just think of it this way: with every day you don't find "the one" you are one day closer to finding her.  There are lots of nice people on MM...unfortunately, you have to cull through the losers first.  You seem like a great guy. Don't give up.

Quoting Jenkneee:

Hey :)

Pat, sorry it sucks for you too. Uggh!  Have you thought about going younger? Some of those men know how to appreciate an older woman!  If you lived out my way, I'd invite you to this restaurant/bar establishment I went to for the first time not too long ago.  The crowd there was the biggest age range I have ever seen, from cubs lined up against the wall waiting to get asked to dance to grandpa types.

Liv,good to see you!!  I typed you something in the "Is it me or am I confused" blog.  I wish we could tag people in these blogs. You gave some good advice to the OP here, if he's smart, he'll take it!

Hey Jenk,

Thanks a lot! I'll look up that blog if my tired eyes can find it! How have y'all been? Miss y'all loads. Aahhh...the OP loves the price tag and bounty on his head. Just don't complain when the bounty hunters aka scammers, golddiggers and one-night-standers line up in front of your door asking for a slice of the cake *cough* sorry, I mean wanting to go out on a date...lol.

How are you Pat? Miss you all. I just feel like a hamster on a threadmill at the moment - bloody hell, as we say in Great Britain... see you all soon.

[End of hijack] - Pat, that is soooo original!

Liv.

PS: Jenk the 'Is it me...' blog isn't visible to me anymore. It may have been removed or I've been blocked off of it.... lol.... anyways take care.

Jenknee,

I'm with Dak, I'd be okay with being number four, at least I left a lasting impression after 27 other women.  LOL   I understand letting things fall through the cracks, you can contact me anytime.  :)

Mtnsunny

Hi Mtnsunny, the lasting impression part is good at least!

Thanks for the message, I will have to catch up with you sometime soon :) Happy Valentine's Day!

I'm new to this site but, hardly new to online dating.  I've been on 4 sites for 6 months so, don't get discouraged.  I try to go by what people post as photos more than what they say.  The old adage, a photo says a thousand words is true.  Look at a persons heart & not their looks.  All my very best to you

Hi Mtn Sunny :) So she found her husband on Day 4 but still dated 27 men after him?  I think I would be feeling a little leery if I was the Day 4 guy.

Hopefully it will work out for them!!

Quoting Jenkneee:

I think it would be better to communicate with females who don't know the size of your bank account.

You received thousands of messages in approx. 2 months, that is a huge amount of mail!! I have received maybe a few dozen in approx. TWO YEARS!!  lol. The winks I get are by men who are usually removed from the site before I even get to see their profiles because they're scammers, or by men too cheap to subscribe so there is no further communication from them after one free wink. Obviously this is not your problem. This site is the worst one by far for me, I do much better on single sites that do not refer to any wealth in their website name.

                                                                             Good luck in your search!!

I completely agree with Jenk. I haven't been on here for a long while now and even before then, this site has ceased to be a dating site for me long ago - but I do come down here to the blogs for a good laugh every now and again. I find other sites that are not class or money-driven to be much better and more real.

Flagent, you may want to consider removing that $500,000 annual salary 'price' tag and your $10million networth 'bounty' you have splashed on your profile - boy, it's like a bounty on your head lol....sorry, I am sometimes the clown on these blogs when I used to be a regular on here with my brand of silly British humour, but I also have my serious, analytical and articulate side. Try removing these pointers that do nothing but attract what you don't want and see if you see a difference. Good luck in your search!

Guys and gals, I've missed you all.

Liv.

why don't you look for the women you want... instead of responding to emails of women who are on a mission?

do a search, try it.

and good luck on finding love. if and when you find the unicorn... please let us all in on the secret.

You need to cut down the number of responses from the wrong kind of women.  First change your ID your catch phase, and your description.  Anything like let me spoil you is out.  Don’t use words anywhere like generous, giving, and so on.

Change both your income and net worth lines to “Prefer not to disclose.”

As is, you are almost begging Gold Diggers to respond.  If you would prefer to play with them for a while leave everything as is.

Try to get your personality on display sans income and company ownerships.

Let the right kind of women discover that you are generous and so on.  Still, I wouldn’t let on the real situation until you know she is the one.

You should appear only moderately successful on your dates.  No more than that.

The number of responses might slow down to a few per month at most, but so be it; maybe even as bad as a few per year.  Some of us can attest that that is pretty normal on this site.

Try this approach.  Slip back by small increments only if it proves necessary to get the kind of responses you want.

I agree.  At least you didn't post pictures of your Maserati, your yacht, your private jet or your chalet in the French Alps.  We had a few of those sorts a while back and hey all turned out to be scammers themselves.

Your profile screams money and you wonder why it's attracting the wrong type of woman.  I'd be surprised if it didn't.  I'd totally delete it and start anew.  Post a few pics of yourself and drop the corporate logos.

Better yet, if you make as much as you claim hire a personal matchmaker who'll custom pick a match for you or, you can fly your private jet to California and meet up with Patti Stanger.  Maybe the next time we see you it'll be on "Millionaire Matchmaker"

Unfortunately, when your income looks as impressive as it does, your going to get a lot of bottom feeders.  Sad to say.

Hang in there, I heard of a lady that dated 31 guys in 31 days, how she did it, I have no idea, but found her husband day 4.

There are some good ladies on here...a lot of them right here in the blogs.

My best to you and Happy Valentines Day.
