Is there anyone on here that writes "I look much older than my photos" "I look worse in person" or "I look old for my age"? Everyone (prob including me) say we look younger than our pics, young for our age and better in person! Do we really need to say this in our profiles? If the photos don't do us justice.. get photos that do. We will be able to tell if you look young for your age. As for how we look in person.. it sounds like we are trying to get a little leverage to have someone meet us!
or the people who put an age on their profile that is 10 years younger than their real age and then in the profile say "I am actually 65 not 55 but I wanted to get a better search result". Once someone reads that you are 10 years older do you think they say.. "hell.. why not contact them" or do they think.. starting out with deception isn't a good way to begin a relationship and/or I didn't want someone that old so why would I now contact them?
Your thoughts are of course welcome!

I have just realized why Dakota has not posted his likeness! He wants to save all the ladies from injuring themselves while fainting over any photos of his physique. As for the rest, I think maybe it would be best leaving what's under those shirts as a mystery.
Quoting Dakota35:
Jenkneee and Liv,
You do realize that Smax, WWWW, and myself all look like those guys when we take off our shirt??? We are just modest and don't want Carly Simon writing a song about us. Liv might not get that reference. :-)

Dakota, I imagine your saggy pants looking quite different but if you do have any, you should get rid of them! Yeah...I get it,lol. One of my biggest pet peeves since way back in Detroit! It's PLURAL, PLEASE!!! It also isn't "chu", it's "you"!!
Quoting Dakota35:
Darn, I have those exact saggy pants in my closet. No wonder I'm not getting any dates. Thanks for the fashion lesson! YARD SALE! Saggy pants 50 cent. (get it?)
Also, we shouldn't condemn those saggy pants...it makes it easier for the cops to catch them, when they run. :-) Thug pants.

This photo is for educating Liv ;) Cowboys might wear doo-rags under their cowboy hats. Bald guys especially like to wear them. This particuliar cowboy is not wearing one but I wouldn't complain either way!

Liv..yes, it is getting a little hot, lol, I was thinking about posting more photos of the better examples of hotness. sigh. Those males that wear their pants way too low with their underwear showing, if they only knew where it started and that it is an "invitation" to other males, they make rethink their style.
It isn't a poo-rag, it's a doo-rag! Although with all the illegals around here, they may have used tose rags in more ways than one...ewww. Men wear them on their heads, most of them are really large hankerchiefs wrapped on their heads, sometimes worn under a bike helmet. In my opinion, it is the only time they should be worn is while riding their bikes.
"Doo-rag guy" messaged me, the one sentence was incomplete like it was some kind of an inside joke I was suppose to get. No greeting, no closing, just a few incoherent words strung together.
Dakota: I do see tattoos as graffiti on bodies. Skin can be beautiful, why ruin it with graffiti? You can't even wash it off when you're tired of it.
PS This is a short video of one type of doo-rag. Being that I used to live in Detroit, I used to see these often and have never liked them. There is more than one reason to wear them, for hair to stay kept down, under a hat, under a helmet, at the gym, etc.

Sharon - Sorry to sound harsh, but Jenk is completely right. With no photos, you will struggle. No photo, no contact! That's just the way it is. Sorry.
12345 - Don't I just love your humour. I am glad that that Daughter&Mother + Father nearly-dead, billionaire hunting gang just missed you! They were here on the blogs briefly - I think Hoping got them booted off MM - their MO was seriously sinister!
Jenk - I have never liked nor be able to understand idiots who chose to wear their pants that way, but this jail explanation just add a new dimension to it! Hey, the other guy's pants are properly worn, the way it should be. What's you beef with your hot dude in jeans? Did you say poo rag??? LOLOL!!! In the meantime, you have managed to raise the temperature in my home - it's so hot in here right now! LOLOL!!!
DAK - I feel the same way about tattoos and everything else we take into our bodies to defile it. I don't care much for tattooed bodies - it completely unnecessary.
Loveyou27 - No one is suggesting that we should be liked on our looks alone or be happy about that. The balance is hopefully what we all strive for - be liked for a combination of all of your essence - your looks, your character, your voice, your smell, your intellects, your mind, your beautiful soul, etc, etc. If you can connect physically, emotionally and mentally, then you are on to a winner. But to expect men to fully appreciate a greyish shadow and mentally torment themselves into ascribing onto it some personality, character and beauty is folly. Men are visual and that is just the way it is.
BlueSky - Awesome advice. Thanks for sharing!
SMax - Thanks for this blog. I have enjoyed reading it! I once had this hot shot attorney writing to me, then I found out he was 4 years older than his real age and the age he posted was already a good 5 years above my upper limit - DANG! He hung himself. His explanation for the obvious deception was even more lame!
Liv.

I just saw another one :/ ya know the ones who claim they're "HOT" on their profiles and yet when you look at their photos, you are left wondering what exactly on them is hot cuz I sure am not seeing anything remotely like that. How delusional are this people, what else are they delusional about? Even if you are "hot", isn't it a sign of arrogance to post it on a profile?
Every once in a while, I get to claim without lying that "I'm hot, I am sooo hot" , unfortunitely my body temperature is what is hot!! lol
Now this guy is hot! Your barrel chest, 30 yr. old mustache and doo-rag is not hot.

Do they really think that when they finally meet their date in person, that it won't be immediately obvious that they are two inches shorter and much heavier than what they claimed online?
That's shameful dishonesty.Perhaps they assume that their personalities will magically make up for the fact that they don't look anything like the picture they posted online. It's a lack of common sense. It's better to be accepted for who you are rather than who you wish you were. You will miss or sabotage real opportunities at happines with people you meet online. The virtual world can be fun indeed but it has clear limitations- the romantic relationships you make online must be brought in to the real world in order to be fully rewarding.
If you see someone you are interested in,take a chance and meet them.Plan a short date, such as coffeee or a drink and meet them there, to ease any pressure. That way,if you find out that the person is not who you expected, you can make a quick getaway without too much discomfort. It also helps to have backup plan(I always do-Lol),such as meeting friends afterwards. Then you have an excuse to leave but can also change plans at the last minute if you are having a good time.Dating can be fun. It's worth giving it a chance. :)
Best of luck!

I'm posting a photo of this guy's tattoos. He told me in our phonecall that honesty and integrity, etc. are so important to him that he got the words tattooed on his arms. I came to find out that his one photo he had posted on his profile was someone else entirely!! Oh yeah, those traits are only important in one direction, he expects others to be honest, etc. For the record..I don't like tattoos at all but a few depending on what they and the location are more tolerable.
To Sharon; I hate to say it but men are visual and on a site like this, there are very few men that have even contacted me,.. and I have photos!! Because I'm older than the majority of females on here and I live in the land of men seeking perfection, most of them do not giving a flying flip about how good, witty, charming or any other positive personality trait I have, I realize my odds are considerably lower than most on here. I may be a hopeless romantic but I am also a realist. Good luck to you though :)
