LOL. No, the provocative title is not about what you might think it's about. It's about snow. Bloody snow. D**m snow. Sitting here in northeastern Pennsylvania, where I had hoped winter was over with--and that the snow flurries that amount to nothing that we've been having for days on end now would be the end of it--along comes a real storm. It's been snowing heavily now for about 3 hours, give or take a bit, and so far we have just about 3 inches.
Here's the forecast for tomorrow and the next day:
Snow this evening...then snow...sleet and freezing rain after midnight. Snow may be heavy at times this evening. Additional snow and sleet accumulation of 4 to 6 inches. Ice accumulation around a trace. Lows in the mid 20s. East winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation near 100 percent.
Snow...freezing rain and sleet in the morning...then snow likely with a slight chance of rain in the afternoon. Total snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches. Ice accumulation around a tenth of an inch. Highs around 40. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph...becoming west 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation near 100 percent.
I'm grateful that we didn't have a March like we had in 2012 where it warmed up so much for a week or so that all the buds and blossoms came out and then, when the weather turned cold again, they all froze to death and we lost much of Spring and summer's glory. But do we really have to have March go out like a lion when she came in like a lion? Woe is me.
Anyone else in the northern hemisphere sick to death of winter? Fishy excluded, since it seems he has winter most of the year. LOLOLOL.

I'm back in Texas and woke up to overcast and dreary. I hope your weather has improved. I tried all I could, while sitting by my friend's lake and sipping my mojito, to send you better weather. L I do hope it gets better soon. I have been held hostage by snow in the past and it wasn't any fun either.
Hopefully Brittany's area has continued warming up.
On another note:
New England Home
A couple purchased an old home in Northern New York State from two elderly sisters.
Winter was fast approaching and the years first snow came early and the wife was concerned about the house's lack of insulation.
"If they could live here all those years, so can we!" declared the husband confidently.
One November night the temperature plunged to below zero, and they woke up to find interior walls covered with frost.
The husband called the sisters to ask how they had kept the house warm. After a rather brief conversation, he hung up.
"For the past 30 years," he muttered, "they've gone to Florida for the winter."
Quoting Curious2078:
Ha, ha!!!
We're all trying to enjoy better weather--but it ain't coming our way!!! At least not my way.
Sooner or later, though. I saw a Magnolia tree this afternoon with its buds out. That's gotta be a d**m good sign.

Boy, oh, boy. According to your weather report, you're going to need some serious stamina to endure. Nice picture, BTW.
We're supposed to get some snow tomorrow, Monday, but I don't think it will amount to much. As for all you westerners and way out there away from the east coast northerners who are having to endure so much snow, I think it's Brittany's fault. Yes, I have it on good authority that she is so anxious to get golfing, she has enlisted the aid of a certified Weather Witch to drive all the snow out of her area and fling it to the far reaches of the continent and beyond. But I've also heard that Britt's Witch is quickly losing her powers, so it shouldn't be too long now before the snow stops falling and the accummulation starts to melt.
Giggles.
Hi Pat,Thank You.Thats what I look like after my morning coffee, don't think you'd care to see what I look like before it though, lol.

Man-a-live! Will I ever learn????
I found this software online and out of desperation, I bought it....it guaranteed I would be able to control the weather, by just a click of the mouse. It appeared to be a fairly user friendly program, you know, just enter your location, select sunny, rain, overcast, calm winds, AM temp, etc. How awesome is that????? So, I proceed with my purchase and start the download...my heart is racing, my palms are sweaty, my thoughts are only of being able to play golf....and then it happened.....ERROR MESSAGE!

HILARIOUS!! I know not to try that app!! Even though I don't golf, I MISS ME SOME FLORIDA!! South Carolina said they are breaking a record for cold today?? DID I HEAR THAT RIGHT??
WHERE'S GLOBAL WARMING EVERYONE!!!!
Does somebody have Al Gore on speed-dial??
My problem is.. I have NOTHING to guage weather on...
Being from Florida means, if it's under 70 and isn't sunny outside---
I GOTZ THE HEAT ON!!! :))))))
PAT-- Stay warm!! It was quite a trip... My first experience in INDY! Can you believe some idiot was HONKING at me B/C I was in the fast lane!! (Granted, I had NO IDEA truck was going to fishtail and I always drive faster than most.. BUT I COULDN'T MOVE THE WHEEL FOR FEAR OF FISHIN!!) So this guy is beeping at me while I am going 55, bumper to bumper in INDY in 5:30 rush traffic ... I had already witnessed over 10 accidents on my way south!! Even a jack-knifed rig!! Jeez... The snow was pouring down!! (HA! Probably what people think of me driving in the rain.. Doesn't phase me much unless I can't see!!) HEY! I did learn what that one dial is for though. It's called DEFROSTER!! Never had to use it before!! LOLOL...
WINDY--- I wish I could have afforded a 4X, but it was a HEMI or 4X.. I chose the engine... Sometimes a princess has to make sacrifices ya know!! I'm just glad sand is cheap in bags! I gave new meaning to "Blowing in the wind!" :)))
And FISHY- You are quite a trooper... 1 week of summer??
Is the suicide rate higher in Alaska??? Hmmm....
Just a thought!!
STAY WARM EVERYONE---
DAKOTA, MAKE ROOM FOR A PRINCESS! I NEED TO HEAD TO BAMA AND THAW OUT IN THE SUN!! Heehee~~
30 Minutes into trip... Already having accidents.. And it only got FARRRRR worse!! My wipers froze up and that's how I learned what DEFROST was!! :)))) Thank God I had bottled water under my seat!! I was stranded on side of road and couldn't see ANYTHNG through my windshield! Heehee~~

That photo is a riot. I didn't realize your area was in for another 6 inches. I know Windrider is buried under mounds of snow, and a couple of others here are nearly buried as well.
We have no buds showing on anything, but we have plenty of snow-free ground. We're scheduled for snow to begin around midnight tonight, and continue on throughout tomorrow, but it's not supposed to accummulate. I certainly hope not.
But, I'll let you know!
And, please, please give your snowmen some heavy-duty drugs to calm them down. They simply can't go on eating little children.
