As several here already know, Ive had the priviledge to study several areas in my life thus far in the academic fields (and in life school aswell), and I guess im interested in several angles of existence...and had the ease of studying, as i loved my University years...

So..when we studied Psychology, several levels of the human mental sphere were studied, nevertheless our own...as when a person studies psychology at a certain level, one needs to be "examined" if one can handle this, if there are any "issues" and hence if a person is even appropriate for such...and then when proceeding into some very delicate area of research or work, one gets to pass thru several more "exams" aswell...its an interesting journey and Im happy I made it with great honors!

So...Im going to try sharing some psychology 101-series on here, and hope they give you some interesting knowledge and food for mind.

My first sharing-session in my "PSY 101" series will be Bodylanguage. It is a very interesting area, and as natural for us humans as drinking water...so...as many of my books are physical paperback books (thick ones indeed...so I had to hire a truck to carry thema round back in the day hahaha), both English and Swedish, i will be trying to match that knowledge from stuff I can find online and in some less complicated and less "boring" faculty lingo...

ENJOY FOLKS!

OH Dakota, then It must been misunderstood from my side..sorry for that in such case...I think many tend to forget that this is not my mothertongue...but many times we think our own observations are the truth but we are again and again surprised byt many realities and facts I guess...Dakota..hm...that cream seems pretty interesting as a studying object..can you send some to me to check out in my lab? ;-)))

It is certainly a sign of "health" when some one can be respectfully critical and observe stuff and be open to be right or wrong etc...and then there are "myths"...but trying to understand is a nice thing :-)...Oh you seem to be one of those "normal" ones around here and THAT makes you un-normal ;-)))

Quoting worldmind:

Ok so Dakota you studied psy at high level you mean? Then cool for you!hoh well that is kind of a myth as it applies certainly to some special cases but to evene enter such studies one needs to have super grades....well self examination and having others examining one self etc etc is part of the preparation into professional status..so offcourse..its after all psychology so it would be crazy if the students werent investigating several angles and working with themselves..but..there are huge differences being a professional or seeking one..haha...and the exceptions you might refer to, which might be needing help rather than being able to give help will eventually fall off the programs or fail or something like that..and most importantly...the human mind is complex..and the first question we got was...what is "normal"? Dakota..dont you worry..as much as its humanly possible to help and treat people from a professional angle is hopefully supplied by the regarded universities worldwide..ans as in any other profession or path in life...there will always be some oddies..ie exception to the rule..so lets wipe off the prejudice cream Mr D ;-)))

LOL, I wouldn't say that I've studied at a high level, by any means.  I took one semester in college.  I was just stating my observation.  I apply my prejudice cream topically every night, it's great for boosting my gigantic ego.  Or maybe it's just a placebo effect...just don't tell me it's a sugar cream as I might decide that oral administration would suit my taste much better. :)  I can tell you one thing definitively, I'm not normal...can't you tell?

Worldmind,
I love this blog...good job!  That took some preparing to put this out for us.  "Our actions speak louder then words"....this is where this saying comes from.  LOL
Very, very interesting, I will need to re read this a few times, that horrible flu bug was a pesky one.  Took the life right out of me, could thing I'm like a cat with a few more lives.  Springing back on my feet.

Dakota interesting teacher you had...oh well..with all respect...but unsure about the psy studies level of an high school teacher..but ok...

LOL No, she was a college professor.  In fact she was the head.  It's been my experience that many that are in the field, go into it to better understand themselves and their own problems.  And then branch out into helping others.

Thanks BeWell dear!

Oh..it was surely not me giving that cat the makeup tour! Once we were in Miami and a huge seaturtle showed up and my friends called me and offcourse I brought my good ol' camera and the police had put do not pass or whats it called yellow tape around the turtle...I though Oh yeahhh niiice..thought it was to protect the turtle from us crazy human admirers..not the other way around..so I lay down in the sand to take a nice closeup face to face with the turtle...and what happens is that the police jumped to me and dragged me in the sand..you know the mark line after my dragged body and they kept saying you are not supposed to get close to the turtle it will charge..I thought...CHARGE??? for what..oh then I thought the police wanted some pesetas to allow the photoshot..hehe...

Swede as I am didnt know that it meant attack...oh boy...all my friends were bent laughing...the nature experts said something about the turtle being unusual there on that beach and that it seems to have been born there then returned to lay her eggs at her birthplace or something like that...oh well BeWell..the sand mark after the photodrag may have been washed away by the water but will aways have a trace in my mind...and offcourse we got a piece of that yellow police tape..which I still keep in some traveldrawer at my house...so..well..I have respect for animals ;-)

Dakota..the human mind is extremely complex (ive written an extensive research about certain areas of it..) and these are general directions...then apply some more or less unusualities in humans cultures etc.

Pay attention to the way she touches her hair. Gentle movements, such as mindlessly twirling a strand around her finger or running her fingers through it slowly are signs that she's very interested. Quick, jerky movements indicate that she's embarrassed or impatient, especially when paired with wandering eyes.
