Oh Fishyne...101 fishing that is..hmm...but isnt there other fishing tricks up your professional sleeves to catch those big scums??? (as a matter of speaking offcourse)... I know some orgs use decoys to trace pedos etc...yeah..you saw the Ecpat...horryfying! The tour we were given is stuck in my mind as a reminder and its hurtful...believe me, Ive taken some lifethreatening risks to help out in the name of childrens wellbeing..and its worth it every time!

..oh one mroe though Fishyme..being such an amazing fisherman yourself...how about a new line of fishing..fishing up the scum of the earth aka child users etc...? We maybe need to get into some business discussions you and I :-/

world, the only way to fish anything is to use bait that whatever your after likes.I am not man enough to use a child for bait.I did look at Ecpat and I never really thought much how spread out child sexual predators are around the world until I started looking at the links there.

Yeah you are right many other countries have issues like South Africa. I love South Africa too. I guess it's one of those places you can go to and sometimes you just don't see that side. I remember before going, people kept saying this about how dangerous it was over there. I went over there and felt so safe. I was a bit uncertain about the township tour although I desperately wanted to go and meet the real people. My uncle and their friends thought I was crazy. However, I felt it was one of the best trips. Meeting the children. Boosting their economy by buying their produce. If I was to win the lottery though or come into money I'd build a community centre there which would accommodate children when their parents are out working to keep them safe.

I guess the more I think about India you can see they have a lot of issues. Poverty, too many people. With poverty comes the human trafficking. I'm sure someone mentioned that their gender ratio is off balance too. Not that this excuses such disgusting behaviour.

Its strange that you would think in a society we are meant to be about protecting women and children. However, throughout the world even within our own countries this is not the case.  Maybe one day we will live in a world where people learn to appreciate and respect others. However, perhaps this chain of thought is way to advanced and civilised for the human race.

Fishyme,

Interesting what you are stating.

Well..I just dont really feel like getting into this right here and now, as Im trying to get ready for a New Years masquerade ball and celebrate a Happy New Year..and even thinking of this will make me sad...but, I am involved in several organisations helping all kinds of people..and one is called Ecpat..I accompanied them in India for some years ago, as a guest, and they drove us around showing us the slums and sex-trade spots of children in india, and I must say, that was the worst ride of my life.

Im unsure if India is leading, as there is Brazil there is Thailand and so forth...have to look into the stats one day..but never the less...this is unexplainably horrible.

Sarah,There is a horrible horrible book call "Sold",I forget the authors name but it is written in the first person. The little mountain girl and her life as a child sex slave in India,it doesn't take much to really feel that child wrote the book,as was intended.

I say horrible because THAT IS whats happening as I type and you read.I don't know facts to quote but I think India is THE leading nation on child sex slavery. If they have no respect for children then what kjnd of a chance will a grown up have?

This book rips at your soul so anyone be fore warned. It was written to reach out to the world and you'll never forget it once you've read it

Dear Sarah,

Happy new year to you.

Well..in regards to India, I think it is a very multifaceted society, and there are SOOO many people..so that specific incident is very sad indeed and I think it is good that they are protesting to set any POSSIBILITIES of such behaviour or even such frame of mind in some people there straight...

Its very complex indeed and I think for an outsider, we can only interpret things from our referenceframes. Offcourse killing etc is wrong in any shape or form, but I dont think it is any major proble in India as one could think given the media coverage of such...even though I do not have any stats on that..so one cannot really know...but i think this oppostion is showing an India in progress in general terms, as for some years ago, they started protests against the corruption, whereas a Ghandiesc old man, I think his name was Ana, started some kind of a relvolution....

I would have hoped for South Africa to really get into the rape stats for realest real, as a former colleague of mine from SA, told me that she was afraid all her life as they rape a girl in every X seconds in SA, sad, but I hope all this does not start and stop in India, but spreads to other countries aswell...as there are many hidden numbers of violence etc, not only against women, but also against children and men worldwide.
