Ever since being a child back here in Sweden, listening to stories about Nils Holgersson, who travelled around on the back of a goose, I have been inspired to travel and see the world. That feeling made me even study several languages, just to be able to truly "land" in many countries and I have had the great privilege to experience several countries and cultures from a "natives" point of view...or at least as native as a "foreigner" can become.

When looking around all the glitz, glamour and stuff...I sometimes just take a relaxing position deep into my cozy sofa and travel, in my mind, amazing lanes and lines of travelmemories carrying me to all experienced and I just become so humbled by the fact, that, at the end of the day, our (travel)memories are the most valuable jewels in our lifebox.

(all pictures (except the one of NH on the goose) that I will post inside this travel-blog will be shot by myself)

Hi Hope -- The Potomac River runs through the greater Washington DC area.  That does not completely define it – only a part of it – but I am not a native of this area so will leave a more complete description to someone who is.

AWwwww.... Another cute photo of DAKOTA... Do you see the size of......!!!!! LOL...

BucketList... Well, just a heads up for anyone reading...

I REALLY AM A PRINCESS!! AND I REALLY WANT TO GET MARRIED AND HONEYMOON IN A REAL CASTLE!!

If I were wealthy, I would travel all over and view castles, so although I've never really thought of my "bucketlist".. I guess I want to see "castles"...

Castles and water... I've only been offshore in the Gulf, so I'd love to view water from all over as well..

I don't know where the Potomic is AVIEW has photos of... (See reading blog.. I've admitted.. I'M NOT THAT SMART!! LOL) But there is NOTHING as majestic as being far away in the ocean with nothing surrounding you but water and air, moonlight or sunset and rises...

Somethimes we look far and long for the prince, when he might actually be just up and close...and sometimes we need to travel worlds apart to be found by him...I hope you will be with your prince

By the way, nice thing about the "bucket-list" posters...whats on your B-list?

Really enjoying the pictures everyone!! DAKOTA.. pretty cool pics for Bama! BUT.. I am most impressed with your baby photo! Your mama must be very proud... ;)

Awesome pics. I agree with CLASSY.. Nice to get lost in them..

A friend from Yoga class has huge photos mounted on the wall of places he has on his bucket list. I thought that was an awesome idea! One day if I can figure out where a Princess is 'sposed to go.. I'm gonna do the same!

WHERE'S MY PRINCE!! How'm I ever gonna get my castle if I can't find my Prince! I promise to keep it clean!! ;)

I've enjoyed the photos here so I thought I'd post one of several I really liked that I found on a travel site today.  In my opinion, it's definitely worth it to check out the other photos on the link.
