I went to see Phantom of the Opera for the first time. I've always wanted to go and see that show. Luckily we managed to get our hands on some good seats. I have to say it was absolutely brilliant. The singing was just amazing. How they can hit some of those high notes is beyond me. It has to be the best show I've seen so far. I shall be humming the tunes forever now.

Sarah :-)

Lovely photos Jenknee.

Yes Hope, I went with my mum and my best friend too, A ladies night out with dinner and cocktails too. :-)

I love the music. I feel so sorry for the phantom too. Was tempted to throw a rose at him. hehe

Been a tad naughty as I noticed that cats is also coming to the playhouse so booked that up. Darn this theatre bug. hehe

Sarah :-)

Jenkeee...

Those photos came out beautifully. The detail of the place is amazing!

Thank-you, they really don't do it justice but they're better than nothing :)

My daughter and I got dressed up too. I wore a black velvet, floor length gown the first time.  How can anyone not dress up to see The Phantom at The Pantages?

Good for you! I went to see it twice (years in between) at the Pantages theatre in Hollywood and absolutely loved it. The beautiful, old theatre added to the whole experience.

Hi Sarah...   My favorite song in Phantom has always been "Music Of The Night".   Did you know if you Google songs in that opera, there are sites that come up where you can download the lyrics? The words are as beautiful as the melodies.

I would love to see it too! Did you bring your mom? Glad to see you getting out and enjoying life. That's exactly what your dad would have wanted..

Isn't it funny how you can go years without seeing something and then when you see it wonder how you went years before seeing it? LOL
